Zac Posen has partnered with luxury bridal brand Pronovias on a new collection.
The New York-based designer is no stranger to bridalwear, having previously teamed with U.S. retailer David’s Bridal on the Truly Zac Posen line and created wedding gowns for celebrities including Katharine McPhee, Coco Rocha, and Portia de Rossi.
Now, Posen has announced he is working with bosses at the Pronovias Group on a range to be a part of the Spanish company’s White One offering, which is aimed at the millennial bride.
“I am very pleased to announce my partnership with Pronovias Group and the White One brand,” he said. “Our shared vision and expertise promise to offer signature one of a kind designs for brides globally.”
The Zac Posen for White One range will infuse Posen’s signature sense of modern glamour with more classic bridalwear styles. There will be 20 bridal dresses and 10 bridal accessories in the first line, with the gowns to feature Posen’s signature techniques, such as layers of chiffon or pleated details.
And Amandine Ohayon, chief executive officer of Pronovias Group, couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with the fashion star.
“This new partnership with Zac Posen is a match made in heaven and will continue to strengthen White One’s positioning as a modern, playful and stylish brand,” she commented. “Zac’s beautiful, glamorous aesthetics combined with our bridal savoir-faire will bring a unique offer to the market: high-fashion design combined with high-quality bridal fit, at an affordable price-point.”
Items in the collection will be previewed in New York on 5 October, with prices ranging from $1,200 to $4,000 (£965 – £3,220).
