Kim Kardashian used to give herself “literal scabs and burns” by securing her breasts with gaffer tape underneath revealing dresses.

Back in 2016, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star gave fans an inside look at how she achieved her perky cleavage in plunging gowns by sharing a snap which showed her wearing strips of adhesive tape from the underneath of her boobs to the back of her shoulders.

She revealed the price she had to pay for the technique as she announced the launch of two new products – body tape and nipple pasties – for her SKIMS shapewear brand on Monday.

“Usually when you see boob tape like this, it comes in one shade, and when I started using it, I would use a gaffer’s tape, which obviously was super uncomfortable but this material is super soft and super stretchy but not too stretchy because you want it to hold. It’s like the perfect amount of stretch,” she said as she gave fans a close-up look of the SKIMS Tonal Body Tape on social media.

“This material is so amazing, (it) doesn’t really rip off your skin like the gaffer’s tape used to do. That would give me literal scabs and burns for the longest time. I really think you guys will love all these materials and fabrics, and I can’t wait for you guys to try them.”

For those who want just a slight lifting effect, Kim has also created SKIMS Pasties, teardrop-shaped padded nipple covers that come in the same three shades – Sandstone, Tigers Eye, and Smokey Quartz – as the tape.

Both products are made of waterproof and sweatproof material and are designed to provide support for 12 hours without showing through clothes.

The Body Tape costs $36 (£28) per 15-yard (13.7 metre) roll while the Pasties cost $12 (£9) for a pack of five pairs. Both products will launch on Thursday.

Kim Kardashian’s dress for the 2019 Met Gala dress originally had fake nipples attached.

The reality star made a splash at the annual gala in May when she stepped out in the custom wet-look Thierry Mugler number, but in a recent episode of her family’s TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which was filmed before the bash, Kim and her husband Kanye West appeared to have a disagreement over whether the outfit was “too sexy”.

Yet, during a recent appearance on The Real, the 39-year-old explained that the rapper wasn’t bothered about the ensemble, but the fake nipples on the front.

“Well, the dress initially… since I was wet coming out of the water, there were nipples attached to it,” commented Kim, adding that the discussion over the design must have been edited out of the programme. “I think, with editing…, I’m not sure if we actually put that part into that fight (on the show). He was really certain that he didn’t want that on the dress and had mentioned it multiple times. And that was still on there, so we did have that discussion.

“I obviously want to be appropriate for my children and there’s enough for them to see already. I could tone it down a little bit. I totally compromise.”

In the original episode, which aired last month, Kanye, 42, stated that he wasn’t thrilled about his wife showing off her body now that he’s “someone that’s married and in love and the father of what’s about to be four kids”.

His words prompted Kim to fire back, “The night before (the Met Gala) you’re going to come in here and say you’re not into the corset look? You’re giving me really bad anxiety… I don’t need any more negative energy.”

In conclusion, the brunette beauty stated: “You built me up to be a sexy person and have confidence! Just because you’re on a journey and you’re in a transformation, doesn’t mean I’m in the same spot with you!”

Kim Kardashian asked for Reese Witherspoon’s approval before wearing her Legally Blonde-inspired look for Halloween.

The reality TV star is following in her late attorney father Robert Kardashian’s footsteps by training to become a lawyer, and last Thursday, decided to transform into Witherspoon’s bubbly sorority girl-turned-Harvard Law School student character Elle Woods for a bash.

Sharing several snaps on her Instagram page, Kardashian donned a pink dress and blonde wig, and also uploaded a video showing her parodying Woods’s famous Harvard admissions video essay.

The look was met with acclaim from fans, as well as Witherspoon, who commented, “Elle Woods forever,” adding the 100 emoji.

And speaking to Entertainment Tonight Canada, Witherspoon revealed Kardashian actually reached out to her for her blessing before debuting the costume.

“She actually wrote me and said, ‘I’m gonna do it.’ And I was like ‘Go for it!'” The Morning Show actress said. “It turned out great. She did a great job.”

“I’m impressed with that!” her co-star in the Apple TV+ series, Jennifer Aniston, added.

Aniston hadn’t yet seen the clip, but after her pal gushed over the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s project, she enthused: “That’s incredible, you have to show me that!”

Meanwhile, a third Legally Blonde movie is currently in the works, with Witherspoon hoping co-stars Jennifer Coolidge, Luke Wilson and Selma Blair will return for the flick.

Kanye West has addressed the controversial comments he made about his wife Kim Kardashian’s 2019 Met Gala dress.

The 42-year-old rapper voiced his concerns over the reality star’s show-stopping couture Thierry Mugler creation that she wore to the prestigious fashion event in a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

“I went through this transition where being a rapper, looking at all these girls and looking at my wife, like, ‘Oh my girl needs to be just like the other girls showing their body off,'” Kanye explained to the cameras in the episode, which was filmed back in April. “I didn’t realise that that was affecting my soul and my spirit as someone who is married and the father of now… about to be four kids.”

“A corset is a form of underwear,” The Life of Pablo hitmaker told Kim. “You are my wife and it affects me when pictures are too sexy.”

But during an interview with Zane Lowe for his Beats 1 radio show on Apple Music, Kanye revealed that he struggles with his 39-year-old wife’s constant presence on social media.

“I suffer and I appreciate the suffering because we can feel a little bit of what Jesus experienced, but I suffer on social media,” he shared. “There are other married men that I know are happy to hear me say that.

“Social media prompts women, in particular, to put out content that they wouldn’t in the past. When I was younger and I wanted to see something like that I had to pay someone who was older… Now, I have friends who have kids in high school and it’s readily available.”

Kim has not yet responded to Kanye’s latest comments.

Kylie Jenner’s daughter Stormi Webster is already “obsessed” with make-up.

In a clip recently shared to her YouTube channel, the 22-year-old revealed her 20-month-old now “begs” her to let her play with cosmetics.

“Stormi is actually super into make-up right now. It’s amazing,” she said. “Every time I’m wearing lipstick she notices. She looks at me and says, ‘lip lip lip.'”

During the clip, Kylie also explained she wasn’t yet sure when she’d officially allow Stormi, who she shares with ex Travis Scott, to wear make-up, adding she “hadn’t even thought about (it)”.

“I don’t know, I’m just going to see,” the beauty mogul mused. “She might even not want to wear make-up. But honestly, how things are going, this girl is obsessed with make-up. She begs me at this point.”

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s Kylie Cosmetics make-up line has served her well, with the youngest sibling in the Kardashian/Jenner family being declared the youngest self-made billionaire in the world by editors at Forbes back in March.

She launched her brand in 2016 with a line of liquid lipsticks, but has since branched out into concealer, foundation, eyeshadow, and lip gloss, as well as skincare.

Meanwhile, a viral meme of Kylie singing the words “rise and shine” to Stormi taken from a YouTube video is continuing to do the rounds on social media.

Even Ariana Grande uploaded a video of herself emulating the reality TV personality, and in the accompanying caption, she asked if she could “sample” the tune.

In response, Kylie wrote, “Yes, yes you can @arianagrande. As long as I’m in (the) music video.”

Kanye West gave Kim Kardashian “bad anxiety” ahead of the 2019 Met Gala by revealing he didn’t love her sexy look.

The reality TV star stunned at the annual event in a custom wet-look Thierry Mugler beige dress – which, after eight months of preparation, her Yeezy mogul husband wasn’t a fan of.

“Like the corset, underwear, all that vibe, I just feel like I just went through this transition of being a rapper, and lookin’ at all these girls… I didn’t realise that that was affecting like my soul and my spirit,” he said in Sunday’s instalment of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

After adding he’s not that into his wife showing off her body now that he’s “someone that’s married and in love and the father of what’s about to be four kids”, Kim fired back: “The night before you’re going to come in here and say you’re not into the corset look?

“You’re giving me really bad anxiety… I don’t need any more negative energy.”

While the rapper insisted it “affects” him when his wife’s pictures are “too sexy”, the KKW Beauty mogul told him: “You built me up to be a sexy person and have confidence! Just because you’re on a journey and you’re in a transformation, doesn’t mean I’m in the same spot with you!”

Ending the argument, Kanye calmly said, “Okay” and walked out of the room, as a stunned Kim said to her friends: “That’s absolutely ridiculous.”

Elsewhere in the episode, Kim worried about how she’d fare going to the bathroom in the tight-fitting number, suggesting: “Honestly, if it’s an emergency, I think I pee my pants and then have my sister wipe my leg up.”

Kim Kardashian isn’t a fan of the trend for “puffy” headbands.

The reality TV star has access to all of the world’s top designers and is often seen rocking the latest style trends on the red carpet.

However, in a new video for Harper’s Bazaar, Kim explained that one fad she simply can’t support is big headbands.

“I love a flat stretchy headband. I think it’s more flattering to the face,” she said. “The big, puffy headbands that I’ve been seeing, I wanna like them ’cause I do like accessories, but I just haven’t seen one on anyone that I really like. So, not approved by KKW.”

Kim went on to note that she doesn’t like the trend for bucket hats or pistachio green outfits either, but is surprisingly open to the idea of trying denim underwear.

“I would say only for a photoshoot or an Instagram pic,” the 38-year-old mused. “Or you know what? Not as real underwear (but) if you’ve got the legs and you wanna wear it with a shirt, I’m not opposed to it, I just don’t really have the legs for it, so I couldn’t wear it like that. But I applaud anyone that does. So, I’m like hung jury here.”

Elsewhere in the chat, Kim shared that she still likes cardigans and denim-on-denim outfits but is less convinced by the current trend for milkmaid-inspired dress, labelling them as “too kitschy”. And she won’t ever be seen in a maxi dress.

“I’ve never really been into a maxi dress. But I get that they’re important. It’s an important staple on people’s closets. I’m not the biggest print person, so again, I get it’s important, and I think it looks really cute on other people. But for me, I’m just way more simple,” she insisted.

Kim Kardashian has created a new collection of underwear.

The 38-year-old’s Skims Solutionwear brand will now include the Cotton line, which features a variety of lingerie and loungewear.

“My essential underwear and lounge pieces made from ultra-soft cotton are coming soon,” she announced in an Instagram post. “Join the waitlist now at SKIMS.COM to be the first to shop the Cotton collection before it sells out.”

The range will include non-wired balconette bras, bikini bottoms, thongs, T-shirts, tank tops, boxers and leggings in five different colours, and will be released on 15 October.

Items cost between $18 and $56 (£14 – £45), with sizes ranging from XXS through 4XL.

In a statement, Kim explained that the pieces in her latest collection are made from natural fibres, and are “an incredibly soft” assortment of cotton lounge and underwear designed for “comfort and ease”.

“Sizing for the collection ranges from XXS through 4XL in keeping with the brand’s emphasis on inclusivity, offering versatile pieces that are available to everyone and for every body,” the TV personality continued.

In a series of posts on her Instagram Stories, Kim also told her followers that she was so excited to debut the next phase of her underwear label.

Last month, the mother-of-four debuted her shapewear line, Skims Solutionwear, with sales of the line reportedly topping $2 million (£1.6 million) in one day.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star revealed she was inspired to create her own shapewear in an effort to combat the body confidence issues she had.

Kim Kardashian “felt so lost” and cried when she was diagnosed with a form of arthritis.

The reality star revealed she had psoriasis 13 years ago during an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and since then, she’s been open about her struggles at trying to control the autoimmune disease, which causes red, flaky, itchy patches on the skin.

In an essay for her older sister Kourtney Kardashian’s lifestyle website Poosh, Kim candidly opened up about her battle with the condition, which has now developed into a form of rheumatoid arthritis.

The mother-of-four has tested positive for psoriatic arthritis, which affects some people who have psoriasis, after she woke up one night and couldn’t move her hands.

“I had my blood tested for all possibilities, and it came back positive for rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. I immediately started to cry and felt so lost,” Kim wrote. “You really can get in a crazy headspace when you think you have something.”

The KKW Beauty mogul also noted that she had inherited psoriasis from her mother, Kris Jenner.

“Even though I always grew up with my mom having psoriasis and hearing her talk about her struggle, I really had no idea what my life would be like dealing with an autoimmune disease myself. I am the only child my mom passed down her autoimmune issue to. Lucky me,” the brunette beauty shared, alongside never-before-seen photos of her psoriasis flare-ups.

The 38-year-old launched her own KKW Beauty body foundation after she was inspired to create a product that would cover up her psoriasis on the red carpet. Yet, she also confessed that she’s now more comfortable living with the condition.

“If you have psoriasis, you can’t let it ruin your life or get the best of you,” Kim added.

Kim Kardashian has accused her sister Kourtney Kardashian of copying her style.

In a new teaser clip for an upcoming episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kourtney is seen talking to her younger sister Khloe Kardashian about what to wear to a birthday party, and tries on a pink dress with mirror tile detailing from Dior.

The 40-year-old proceeds to video call Kim for her opinion on the look, but her sibling quickly criticises her for allegedly replicating her outfits.

“Why do you keep on picking out all the same clothes?” Kim asked, to which Kourtney replied: “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve never dressed like you. I dress completely different than Kim.”

In a later confessional clip, Kim went on to explain that she works hard to maintain relationships with her favourite designers, and doesn’t know if her sister appreciates the effort her ensembles require.

“I don’t think Kourtney understands the legwork behind this. I don’t think anybody understands. You have to really have a relationship with that designer. She has no idea how this works,” the 38-year-old fired.

However, in a later part of the video, Kourtney hit back at Kim’s claims and commented that while her stylist may select items from her sister’s designers, she mostly sends them back.

“We have completely different looks. I’m not trying to copy your styles. But on a same designer, you can’t ban me from (them),” she said, to which the mother-of-four replied, “They said, ‘Sorry, Kourtney’s stylist pulled everything.'”

“So, ask me! Are you wearing this white Rick Owens dress? I want it. She pulls things and when it comes here, I say, ‘No, no, no. Yes, yes, yes,'” insisted Kourtney.

While the Poosh founder didn’t end up choosing the Dior dress for the event because it reminded her too much of the iconic outfits in 1997 comedy Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion, she did wear the outfit to her youngest sister Kylie Jenner’s pink-themed skincare launch party in May.
