Kendall Jenner “found herself” when she started opening up about her problems with acne.

The model joined the Proactiv team as its brand ambassador in January and was subsequently slated on social media for over-exaggerating the hype around the partnership announcement, as she was praised by her mother Kris Jenner for being “brave” and “vulnerable”.

Despite the backlash, Kendall has been using the products for more than a year and has become more confident since sharing her battles with her problem skin.

“As corny as it might sound, my acne journey helped me find myself in the process; it made me realise my worth and pushed me to be even more confident,” she told Elle.com. “I learned so much about myself to the point where It made me glad it came back worse than ever. I needed my path to be shifted to end up where I am today.”

When her acne first began in her teens, she sought advice from her older sisters – Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, and Khloe Kardashian – who urged her to stop touching her face.

“Don’t ever touch your face. Your hands are very dirty,” the 23-year-old recalled them telling her. “When I started breaking out, I was kind of crazy about it. I just wanted to be clean at all times. I’m also a hypochondriac so I felt like if I touched my face I’d die. I was so bad.”

Her secret weapon for battling breakouts now is the Proactiv Adapalene Gel, which she claims is a miracle worker.

“If I have a pimple and I put that on at night before I go to bed, I swear to God, I wake up in the morning and it’s gone. It pulls it all out. I put the gel on one more night, and then it’s completely gone the next day,” she gushed.

Kendall Jenner has described herself as a “love at first sight” kind of person.

The model made the comments during a candid interview for her sister Kourtney Kardashian’s new lifestyle website, Poosh, and confessed that she knows whether she’s interested in someone romantically as soon as she meets them.

“I am very much someone who, I am love at first sight type of person,” she stated. “I know I am gonna fall in love with you the second that I meet you.”

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star elaborated on the feeling, and insisted that it doesn’t happen often, but when it does, she just goes with it because she knows it’s right.

“I have this overwhelming feeling. And that doesn’t happen a lot for me,” the 23-year-old reflected. “I am not the kind of person who can gradually fall in love with someone. I don’t understand that. I’m a really straightforward person.”

Kendall also went on to joke that, for her, the feeling of falling in love is the same as when she discovered her other two passions in life: modelling and horse riding.

Back in February (19), the brunette beauty confirmed she had been dating Philadelphia 76ers basketball star Ben Simmons, 22, during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

When asked about how long the pair had been involved with one another, she coyly responded, “For a bit now.”

Kendall had previously been linked to Anwar Hadid, the younger brother of fellow models Gigi and Bella Hadid.

Kendall Jenner didn’t think she was ‘sexy’ growing up

Kendall Jenner had a hard time accepting her body when she was younger because she looks so different to her famous siblings.

The supermodel, who rose to fame as a member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan on reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, admitted in an interview with British newspaper The Telegraph that she used to compare herself to her sisters, which initially knocked her confidence.

“Growing up being this little twiggy girl, I saw my sisters and always thought, ‘Oh no am I supposed to be more sexy like them?'” she reflected. “My sisters are a lot curvier than me; they have boobs and I don’t have boobs.”

The Victoria’s Secret Angel went on to suggest that she’s “not necessarily a lot like (her siblings)” and has separated herself from her older half-sisters Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe Kardashian, as well as younger sister Kylie Jenner, in many ways.

“I almost felt like I didn’t fit in for a part of my life,” the 23-year-old shared. “I’m not necessarily a lot like them.”

Despite feeling like an outsider, Kendall overcame the hurdles and has risen to prominence as one of the world’s most celebrated models today, and in the chat, emphasised that she’s content with her choices.

“I like that I have a different vibe to everyone,” she insisted. “I like to do different things. And that’s OK.”

Kendall also took a moment to celebrate her family’s success and cited hard work as key to their longevity.

“We’re a very female-heavy, work-driven family,” the brunette beauty reflected. “We all work really hard.”

Khloe Kardashian only wanted “women who reflected reality” to model for her Good American fashion line.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star put out a worldwide open casting call for the brand last October (18) and, opening up about the experience on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday (09Apr19), she reflected on the success of the brand’s enduring mission.

“Our callbacks were absolutely amazing, our goal was to find women who reflected REALITY and that is just what we did,” the 34-year-old wrote alongside clips of behind the scenes footage from the auditions. “I loved meeting so many of you beautiful ladies and hearing your amazing stories.”

The star, who has been candid with fans about her struggles with body image and confidence in the past, went on to admit that she felt “proud” of what she and the brand have achieved, and suggested that her siblings Kim and Kourtney Kardashian helped her decide on the final line-up.

In the original casting call, the fashion mogul affirmed her mission to “show a diverse representation of all women,” and held auditions across the U.S., Europe, and Australia for the coveted spots.

Posting on the Good American Instagram page, the brand also reflected on the campaign, and claimed that they had “broken barriers” with the process.

“Continuing our mission to break barriers and push for inclusivity in the fashion industry, our goal was to find women who reflected reality,” they wrote. “It’s never been just about appearance – we wanted to hear real stories, real struggles and how powerful women persevered.”

Kourtney Kardashian has launched a lifestyle website for the “modern woman” who wants to live like her.

The eldest Kardashian sister went live with her website Poosh on Tuesday (02Apr19), which takes its name from the reality star’s nickname for her six-year-old daughter Penelope. Much like Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop, Kourtney’s platform will cover topics including health, wellness, beauty, fashion, her passion for interior decor and kids.

“It’s a place of discovery,” she told Vogue.com. “Poosh will be curating a lifestyle that’s very much the lifestyle that I lead.”

Currently, the site features posts about organic wines, coffee table books, and Kourtney’s tips on How to look good naked, and it will also feature product recommendations, recipes, and interviews with wellness experts to show its readers that Kourtney’s way of life “is achievable by all.”

“I try to use all natural beauty products,” she added, explaining that not everything in her kit is 100 per cent organic. “It’s all about living your best life and embracing the fact that it’s not perfect.”

In addition, Kourtney will share information on clean beauty, a cause she became passionate about after noticing harmful ingredients in the products she used daily when she first became a mum. Last year (18), she went to Washington, D.C. to advocate for cosmetics reforms on Capitol Hill.

“It’s important to use my voice to share everything I’ve learned,” she continued. “I would think that by this point, we wouldn’t have to do the work ourselves on the Skin Deep App,” she noted, referencing the Environmental Working Group’s popular tool that rates the toxicity of personal care products. The 39-year-old recently rid her bathroom of products rated more than three on EWG’s score system.

“I got rid of so many things — even my kids’ hair gel that’s made for kids was a horrible score and I had no idea and I was so upset about it,” she told the LA Times. “The other thing about the importance of the law with Congress that we’re hoping gets passed is we shouldn’t have to be doing this. We shouldn’t have to be, as consumers, going into a store and scanning every product and going through our whole bathrooms or having kids’ products that are hazardous to our children.”

Kim Kardashian: ‘I needed a pair of sunglasses for every bikini moment’

Kim Kardashian was inspired to create her own collection of sunglasses because she couldn’t find the right shades to go with every one of her numerous bikinis.

The reality star has teamed up with eyewear brand Carolina Lemke on an initial collection of seven styles, including oversized visors and slim, skinny numbers, and debuted the range on Tuesday (03Apr19).

Kim opened up about the inspiration for the creations in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, and admitted it was actually her own needs that prompted her to turn her hand to sunglass designing.

“I was really inspired by vintage ‘90s styles, like the black ones my mom was wearing walking out. To me, that’s a classic,” the 38-year-old reflected. “And definitely the beaches all around the world and seeing all of these bikini moments I want to have and I don’t have the perfect sunglasses to go with them.”

Kim was determined to produce styles that were different from what other brands were doing with the new range. And while she designed around 20 styles in total, she revealed that “big black sunglasses” are her go-to.

“I think everyone needs a big pair of glasses at some point because, if I’m just running out the door and have no make-up on and look like s**t, I just put on a good pair of glasses and I feel at least a little bit more in my comfort zone.

“You can’t go wrong with a pair of big black sunglasses.”

The beauty mogul, who runs the successful KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance empires, also said that she designed one particular pair with sister Kourtney Kardashian in mind.

“There’s a round pair,” she told the publication. “I know Kourtney loves round and I don’t wear round as much, but I thought it would look really cute on her, so I did that one specifically for Kourtney.”

The Kim Kardashian West Collection for Carolina Lemke is available online now.

Kourtney Kardashian teases new lifestyle brand Poosh

Kourtney Kardashian is gearing up to launch a new lifestyle brand named Poosh.

While the reality TV star’s sister Kim Kardashian has found success with her KKW Beauty line and her younger half-sister Kylie Jenner has made a fortune with her Kylie Cosmetics collection, the eldest Kardashian sibling has, for the most part, steered clear of starting her own business.

However, Kourtney took to Instagram on Monday (04Mar19) to announce that she is creating a label called Poosh and has already started a website.

She gave no further details, though all of her posts were captioned, “Coming soon #pooshtheboundaries.”

Another shot on her Instagram page contained the words, “This isn’t a monologue, it’s a dialogue.”

On the homepage of the website, Kourtney simply invites fans to sign up for further email updates, while an accompanying image shows her posing nude in a bathroom with her hair wrapped in a white towel as she holds a laptop and teacup.

In the background, there is a copy of Paulo Coehlo’s 1988 novel The Alchemist, as well as a set of shelves stacked with beauty products, essential oils, towels, and bath salts.

Accordingly, followers have speculated that Kourtney may be following in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow by starting a Goop-inspired blog or website, while others are certain she is about to launch her own skincare or beauty line.

And while the 39-year-old is yet to share how she came up with the name Poosh, fans of Keeping Up with the Kardashians will know that “Poosh” is one of her nicknames for her six-year-old daughter Penelope, who she shares with ex-partner Scott Disick.

“You’ll be her first role model, her first friend, her first love. My little Poosh,” wrote Kourtney on an Instagram post about her second child back in February 2017.

Kim and Kourtney Kardashian look unrecognisable in a new Instagram post as they model bizarre new South Korean face masks.

Kourtney, 39, shared a selfie of herself and Kim, 38, wearing the Hanacure masks on Wednesday (27Feb19).

In the picture, both sisters are wearing fleece robes with their hair tied up, and a camera crew is visible behind the duo.

Kourtney captioned the post by poking fun at her appearance and insisting that the masks were Kim’s idea.

“Kim convinced me to use this face mask and I feel stunning,” Kourtney wrote, joking about her distorted appearance as a result of the tightening masks.

Fans rushed to comment on the hilarious photo, with their younger half-sister Kendall Jenner, 23, remarking “I can’t breathe”.

Hanacure have developed a cult following in recent years, after Drew Barrymore publicly shared her love for the brand back in 2017.

The 44-year-old actress raved about the masks’ effectiveness, claiming that they make you look “10 years younger”.

“This is a @hanacurreffect mask @thehanacure,” she captioned an Instagram picture of her wearing the mask. “You paint it on with a brush. It starts to dry. It pulls. It gets so tight that it literally pulls your face. But, it makes you look so fresh when you wash it off.

“It’s so effective. How fun is that in a package.”

Hanacure claim that the products are inspired by the lotus flower and “deliver a transformative experience in 30 minutes (that) reveals the purest form of age-defying beauty”.

Kourtney Kardashian’s six-year-old daughter Penelope got her first-ever haircut on Monday (11Feb19).

The 39-year-old reality star documented the momentous occasion on her Instagram page, sharing a snap of Penelope modelling her new look alongside the caption: “First ever hair cut in all of her enchanting six years.”

Hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimons was responsible for Penelope’s makeover – swapping her long locks for a choppy bob – and also posted about the appointment on his Instagram Stories, writing: “Gave Penelope her first ever haircut today! That was pretty special.”

Following Penelope’s cut, her auntie Khloe took to social media to share a comparison picture of herself and her young relative – with the similarities between the two ‘dos clear to see.

“So basically, P is obsessed with me (jk) lol how FREAKING CUTE is she with her hair cut???!!!?” Khloe wrote.

Despite being just six years old, Penelope is already making a name for herself as something of a fashionista. In a recent interview with People, Kourtney told the outlet that her daughter has a strong sense of style, adding: “She does everything. She loves it. I usually just try to let her go with it. Once in a while I might chime in with, ‘Well, maybe it might look better like this,’ but for the most part, I let her do her thing.”

Kourtney shares three children – Penelope, Mason, nine, and four-year-old Reign – with former partner Scott Disick

Like his older sister, Reign has never had a haircut – and has frequently divided opinion with his long tresses, which reach below his shoulders. Alongside a social media snap Kourtney shared last December, followers were quick to comment on Reign’s hair, with one writing: “Cut his hair. So ridiculous. And don’t state that he wants it that long. Dear god, he is a child, he does not know any better. You did the same with Mason. What is your point?”

While Mason now has a trendy short cut, he also had long hair until he was out of his toddler years.

Kendall Jenner found it hard to talk openly about her acne as part of her collaboration with Proactiv.

The supermodel was recently announced as the new face of the spot-busting skincare range, and she shared details of her struggles in a television advert for the brand.

And though Kendall has touched on her acne battle in the past, she was nervous about being totally honest about her experience.

“Of course (there were moments I didn’t want to share my story). I’m not going to lie, doing this isn’t the easiest thing, talking about something so personal and arguably not the most beautiful thing ever sometimes,” she explained in a video interview with E! News. “It’s not easy to talk about but I felt like I wanted to for other people, so other people felt like it was O.K. and that there is a way out of it. And just because I’ve struggled with it personally on such a deep level, I wanted people to feel like, ‘Oh but she did it so it’s O.K. and we will figure this out.'”

The 23-year-old added that her self-confidence was low as a teenager, particularly as her famous sisters Kylie Jenner, and Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian, all had such “beautiful skin”. Luckily, she had plenty of support from her family.

“I was like, ‘What is happening to me? Why me? Like all of you are amazing and I have to struggle,'” the brunette beauty recalled. “It was hard for me when I was younger to see that, but they were so good about it and so supportive. I had them sitting crying with me when I would cry about it.”

Thanks to Proactiv, Kendall – who leads Forbes’ Highest-Paid Model of 2018 list – is now confident in her skin, which allows her to enjoy a laidback approach to make-up.

“I usually go for a really light simple foundation, something not too heavy. And then a little glow. Like a little highlighter, maybe a little bronzer and that’s it,” she added. “I’m not high maintenance at all.”
