Lana Condor is such a fan of facial masks that she will constantly wear them at “inappropriate times”.

The To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before actress, who was recently named the latest face and brand ambassador for beauty giant Neutrogena, explained to her followers in a lengthy Instagram video that she can’t get enough of face masks, particularly the brand’s Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating 100% Hydrogel Mask.

Trying it on, the 23-year-old revealed that she is constantly applying them whenever she can get the chance.

“I always, always, always have to have a face mask, it’s just my favourite thing,” she gushed. “I feel like I’m the girl who’s masking at inappropriate times. I’m the person that you’ll see in the car and you’ll pull up to a stop light and you’ll look over and I’ll be the person with the mask on my face.”

In a follow-up video, the actress explained how she keeps them in her handbag and will always wear one on the way to set or a shoot to prepare her skin for make-up.

“I actually, even before starting to work with Neutrogena, I would carry this exact mask in my purse and my set bags always because I’m a type of girl who masks constantly, wherever she is, with zero care in the world about what people think,” she admitted. “I mask on planes, I mask in the car, all the time when I go to work, I’m masking before I get to set so that my skin feels hydrated and plump and moisturised and ready for a day on camera… Or if I’m trying to relax at night, this is a great one too because also, during the day, you lose a lot of moisture, so you gotta repack it back in.”

Lana was announced as the latest brand ambassador alongside You actress Jenna Ortega.

H&M has dropped a collection inspired by the hit To All the Boys movies.

Released on Netflix in 2018, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before was a massive hit, with teens around the world fascinated by the relationship between Lana Condor’s Lara Jean Covey and Noah Centineo’s Peter Kavinsky. Its success sparked the sequel To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, which was released in February, and a third film is on the way.

To celebrate the franchise, designers at the Swedish high street retailer have created a limited-edition line that applauds the flick’s “positivity, inclusive representation, and styling”.

“All over the world, fans connected deeply with the character of Lara Jean, her romantic outlook and sense of style,” said Emily Bjorkeheim, H&M’s head of design for Divided. “This new spring collection is our celebration of the romcoms, channelling the fashion, charm and inclusive message of the two films. We hope fans are swept off their feet by the standout pieces with puff shoulders and motif T-shirts.”

The collection is a “love letter” to Lara Jean’s style, and features puff shoulder T-shirts with graphic logos, a bright pink long-sleeved crop top, a bright pink puff shoulder dress with empire waist and ruffled hems, a black body-con dress, and a black floral skirt with a sheer maxi-length overlay.

Items are priced from $8.60 – $19.50 (£6.40 – £14.60).

And to accompany the line, H&M is also launching a digital campaign on Instagram featuring close-up details from the movies and the new range.

Lana Condor and her team spent hours picking her character’s outfits for the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before sequel because they knew fans would copy her wardrobe.

The actress found fame playing Lara Jean Covey in Netflix’s 2018 teen romance drama, also starring Noah Centineo as Peter Kavinsky, with fans becoming so obsessed with the lead character that they would emulate her costumes.

While preparing to reprise the character in the sequel, To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, Condor and the movie’s style gurus spent hours in fittings to get every look just right because they were mindful of the fact that teenagers would go and buy the pieces Lara Jean wore onscreen.

“We realised that girls went out and bought the same outfits Lara Jean wore. So that’s a responsibility for us, to create beautiful things that are also accessible to the masses. I was in fittings every single day, for hours,” the 22-year-old recalled to Vogue.

In the sequel, one of the standout pieces of Lara Jean’s wardrobe is the tiered seafoam green J. Mendel gown the character wears to a ball, during which she descends a staircase and has a Cinderella moment.

The X-Men: Apocalypse star revealed the team went through so many dresses because they were determined to find the perfect one for her and that scene.

“We tried so many dresses, because you don’t see a lot of Asian American women getting a Cinderella moment,” she shared.

To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You is streaming on Netflix now.

Stepping out at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles for the feature’s debut, Liu dazzled in a strapless gold ballgown with a long train and delicate embroidery from Elie Saab.

She accessorised the look with Chaumet jewellery, and had her hair styled into tumbling waves.

Ming-Na Wen, who voiced Mulan in the original movie, also opted for a dramatic ballgown for the night. The star chose a stunning number made from blue and gold fabric by Mark Zunino and topped off the ensemble with a touch of light blue eyeshadow on her eyelids and sparkly drop earrings.

Moana star Auli’i Cravalho opted for the pink theme too, selecting an Azzi & Osta dress, while Lana Condor rocked a blue jumpsuit with gold sequin detailing from Antonio Berardi.

Among the other celebrities showing their support for the film included Chrissy Metz, Jaimie Alexander, Alexis Knapp, Kimora Lee Simmons, and Jordin Sparks.

Kiernan completed her look with black accessories and stud earrings, and wore her blonde hair in a high bun. Inside the awards ceremony, held at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, the 19-year-old star posed with fellow stars including To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before actress Lana Condor, who looked stylish in a ruched white crop top and high-waisted red trousers.

Lana Condor has confessed to stealing a number of outfits from the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before set.

The actress was catapulted to fame following the release of the teen romance movie last August (18), in which she played Lara Jean Covey and Noah Centineo starred as one of her love interests.

Speaking to People magazine, Lana has now divulged that she went home with a selection of her character’s clothes following her final day on the set of the hit Netflix project.

“I stole a lot. Like, a whole lot,” the 21-year-old laughed. “I’m sure they’re going to want it back, but I took quite a bit. I’m sorry!”

The Vietnam-born star admitted to taking a hoodie, shoes, and a jacket from her character’s closet.

Discussing the importance of fashion in her life, Lana went on to detail some of her own wardrobe staples, and highlighted how her go-to look makes her feel “bada*s.”

“A leather jacket makes me feel very confident,” she responded when asked what outfit makes her feel the most powerful. “I would say black jeans, a leather jacket, and a statement T-shirt.”

Lana went on to express her love for slogan shirts and suggested that she would finish the look with a pair of “great sneakers”.

And in a bid to empower women, the X-Men: Apocalypse star has joined forces with Old Navy and Suzanne Asbury-Oliver – the world’s only professional female skywriter – to kick off the #SKYSTHELIMIT campaign.

The initiative will deliver encouraging messages to women in cities all over the United States, in association with International Women’s Day.

Lana called her involvement with the project a “no brainer,” and emphasised that empowering women is close to her heart.

“The message of a hero as a woman and just shooting for the stars is something that I’ve always believed in,” the actress affirmed.
