Naomi Watts is facing her demons head on during lockdown with a transformational workout.

The King Kong star shared details of her life at home during lockdown with Vogue.com, and revealed that she’s been focusing on her mental health and wellbeing in self-isolation.

“We all know that exercise is a fantastic way to shift a mood. I love the rush of endorphins after a physical challenge. I’ve been live streaming The Class by Taryn Toomey which is great for body and mind. She really has you face all your demons head on. It’s very cathartic,” the 51-year-old explained.

The Class is a vigorous workout, favoured by fellow celebs including Gwyneth Paltrow, which features repetitive calisthenics and plyometrics and ends with a group meditation.

Naomi also swears by De Mamiel Sleep Series oil, $65, which claims to boost sleep quality with a blend of herbs, watermelon seed oil and passionflower oil.

“I keep De Mamiel Sleep Series oil by my bedside table. I’m loving the ‘Settle’ oil right now as it helps calm your mind before you sleep,” she shared. “I also keep Jao Goe oil beside my bed as it’s super hydrating and amazing to use on your heels and elbows. And that’s about the size of a quarantine day for me!”

The Impossible actress, who shares two sons with ex-boyfriend Liev Schreiber, has been cooking to alleviate her anxiety, and has been meticulously planning her day to avoid feeling uncertainty during lockdown.

“I’m a planner and not being able to think too far forward gives me anxiety. With all the uncertainty it’s best to just think small… ‘How do I get through this day?’ Things like cooking, exercise, meditation are all helpful. Also talking to friends, some that I don’t get to see that often,” she stated.

Liev Schreiber is joining Will Smith in the cast of upcoming sports drama King Richard.

According to editors at The Hollywood Reporter, the actor will play tennis coach Paul Cohen in the movie, a biopic about Venus and Serena Williams’ father Richard Williams, as portrayed by Will.

Paul, who had worked with the likes of John McEnroe and Pete Sampras, was brought onboard by Richard to give his daughters lessons.

Liev joins a cast that also includes child stars Saniyya Sidney and Demi Singleton as the young Venus and Serena, and Aunjanue Ellis as their mother, Oracene Price. Jon Bernthal is attached to portray another tennis coach, Rick Macci.

The film, which is slated for a cinema release in November, is being directed by Monsters and Men’s Reinaldo Marcus Green from a script by Zach Baylin.

The narrative is set to show how the uncompromising tennis dad trained his two daughters to play the game on the cracked courts in Compton, Los Angeles, and coached them all the way to Grand Slam wins and all-time greatness.

Producers include Tim White, Trevor White, and James Lassiter, with Allan Mandelbaum, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Caleeb Pinkett serving as executive producers.

Liev most recently wrapped on hit TV series Ray Donovan, which concluded earlier this year after seven seasons. However, he recently hinted to fans that they haven’t seen the last of his character.

He will next begin promoting The French Dispatch, a comedy-drama film directed by Wes Anderson and also starring Timothee Chalamet, Saoirse Ronan, Lea Seydoux, Elisabeth Moss, and Edward Norton.

Elle Fanning pulled out all the stops for the Berlin International Film Festival on Thursday night (15Feb18).

The actress walked the red carpet at the Potsdamer Platz square prior to the opening ceremony of the event and premiere of movie Isle of Dogs.

Once again proving her flair for fashion, Elle posed up a storm in a dramatic Valentino gown that featured a white satin skirt and flowing orange top which was pulled together with a pale blue bow at the centre.

The 19-year-old, who is at the festival to promote her crime drama Galveston, matched her look with natural make-up as well as a swipe of black eyeliner, and had her signature blonde hair pulled back into a high bun.

Among the other celebrities to make a sartorial statement was Lady Bird director Greta Gerwig, who voices a character in Isle of Dogs. The star sported a sheer black gown covered in sequin appliques from Valentino, which she accessorised with black heels and jewellery from Ara Vartanian.

Greta posed for photographers with her Isle of Dogs co-star Tilda Swinton, who opted for a monochromatic suit from Chanel that featured wide-leg trousers and a high-neck white shirt.

Other cast members from the movie in attendance included Bryan Cranston, Liev Schreiber and Jeff Goldblum, who all suited up for the night.

Meanwhile, Helen Mirren looked elegant in a grey off-the-shoulder Rami Al Ali tea-length gown which she complemented with a silver Jimmy Choo clutch, while Patricia Clarkson wore a Christian Siriano outfit comprised of a black top and long silver skirt.

Model Toni Garrn also turned heads at the event, donning a minimalist white dress with thin straps made for her by departing Hugo Boss womenswear designer Jason Wu.
