Bruno Mars has reached out to Rihanna on Twitter to put himself forward for her Fenty Skin campaigns.
The Locked Out of Heaven singer took to Twitter on Monday and jokingly told his fans he sometimes contemplates a modelling career when he’s going through a tough songwriting patch.
“Sometimes I get so frustrated writing music I look in the mirror and say to myself ‘I should’ve been a model’,” he quipped.
Shortly after, he directly reached out to the singer and beauty mogul to offer up his services for her new skincare line.
“Yo @rihanna I’d like to submit some of my headshots for your Fenty Skin Campaign. I just took some new ones that I’m really proud of,” he tweeted, followed by a fingers crossed emoji.
Rihanna, who is yet to respond to Bruno’s post, announced the arrival of Fenty Skin in early July and recruited her famous friends A$AP Rocky and Lil Nas X to appear alongside her in the advertising campaign.
She is no stranger to hiring stars to feature in her brands’ ads. In November last year, she made former Fifth Harmony singer Normani the first ambassador of her lingerie brand Savage x Fenty, and has since cast Tinashe and rapper Megan Thee Stallion as celebrity spokespeople.
Fenty Skin officially launched on 31 July and two items – the cleanser and a kit featuring the cleanser, a toner serum, and moisturiser – are already out of stock.
A message on its website reads, “We’re humbled by your overwhelming support for Fenty Skin. Please allow extra time for shopping while we process Fenty Beauty + Fenty Skin orders.”

The singer-turned-beauty mogul announced the latest offshoot of her successful Fenty brand, Fenty Skin, last week, revealing it would be hitting shelves at the end of July.
Now she’s shared campaign imagery on her dedicated Fenty Skin Instagram account, including a smouldering image of her with rumoured beau A$AP Rocky.

Another shot features Old Town Road hitmaker Lil Nas X posing with model Jazzelle Zanaughtti, known as Ugly Worldwide. The caption reads: “Skin off the charts @lilnasx and @uglyworldwide showin’ out with that #FENTYSKIN glow. Sign up for email at fentyskin.com to get early access to shop.”
Numerous shots of Rihanna have also been posted, as well as campaign stills featuring other models.
The launch of Fenty Skin comes three years after she debuted Fenty Beauty, a brand that has become synonymous with a large range of foundation and concealer colours to match any skin tone.
“I’ve been working on @fentyskin for over 2 years, perfecting formulas and creating packaging that is kind to our planet!! Formulas that work, and work well with makeup!!! Everything starts with the foundation that is your skin and we all know how obsessed I am with beautiful, healthy skin- so whether you want to wear makeup, or no makeup at all, there’s always glowing skin underneath,” Rihanna wrote next to one of the images.

Jane Fonda and Lil Nas X are fronting a new environmentally-conscious campaign for Gucci.
Released on Tuesday, the marketing imagery for the Italian luxury label’s first sustainable line, Gucci Off the Grid, was shot by photographer/director Harmony Korine with creative direction from Alessandro Michele and art direction by Christopher Simmonds.
For her photoshoot, Fonda is seen posing in front of a wooden treehouse set within a cityscape while wearing an off-white suit and carrying a yellow tote bag.
And while the Hollywood icon recently pledged to stop buying new clothes, she insisted the campaign aligns with her devotion to promoting environmental causes, such as her Fire Drill Fridays demonstrations.
“Demand that your government officials invest in clean energy infrastructure,” she commented. “Global economists agree that it’s the top investment we can make, both in terms of climate benefits and having the highest stimulus effect during the time of pandemic when so many jobs need to be created.”
Old Town Road hitmaker Lil Nas X, adventurer/environmentalist David Mayer de Rothschild, singer King Princess, and Japanese musician Miyavi, have also been cast in the project, and are depicted sporting pieces from the collection while standing or sitting in the treehouse – with a Gucci representative explaining that the imagery represents opening “the door to a new beginning”.

Adele has showed off her incredible transformation in a new social media post to mark her 32nd birthday.
The Hello singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to upload a picture of herself posing in a black, high-neck minidress with puffball sleeves while standing in front of a giant floral arch outside of her home in Los Angeles.
In the accompanying caption, Adele thanked her fans for their well wishes and also took the time to acknowledge essential healthcare workers on the frontline during the global coronavirus pandemic.
“Thank you for the birthday love. I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time,” she wrote. “I’d like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives! You are truly our angels. 2020 okay bye thanks x.”
Famous followers including designers Riccardo Tisci and Virgil Abloh, Lil Nas X, Jameela Jamil, and Rita Wilson were quick to wish the Someone Like You hitmaker a happy birthday in the comments on the post, which has already amassed almost two million likes.
And Chrissy Teigen was one of the first to note the mother-of-one’s total body transformation, with Adele having reportedly lost around seven stone (44 kilograms).

The No Tears to Cry hitmaker is famous for her trademark high ponytail, and if it isn’t slicked back on the top of her head, her waist-length brunette hair is usually styled poker straight.
However, as the Grammy winner stays at home amid the coronavirus lockdown, she took to Twitter and Instagram to wow fans with her real dark curls, which can be seen tumbling around her face and shoulders in the smouldering picture.
“Get a load a dis (sic),” Ariana captioned the snap.
Her curly locks are reminiscent of old childhood photos Ariana has previously shared with her fans, and her mother Joan chimed in with a sweet note of support for her daughter.
“Beyond stunning. Your natural hair/curls is a world of its own… a magnificent beauty you are inside and out/made up or natural … I love you…” she commented.
More than five million followers liked Ariana’s post on Instagram, and the Thank U, Next hitmaker’s famous friends showed their adoration for the singer’s natural hair.
“Here for this covid curl,” Katy Perry wrote, while Lil Nas X commented: “Beautiful.”

Lil Nas X and Justin Bieber have gone shirtless for a seductive new Calvin Klein campaign.
The music stars appear as part of a showcase for the brand’s Spring 2020 collection, which also features model Kendall Jenner, Euphoria’s Hunter Schafer, and musicians Maluma, SZA, and Lay Zhang.
The DEAL WITH IT campaign, shot by photographer Mario Sorrenti, is described by the brand as a celebration of “unapologetic confidence and self-love”, and each of the famous faces were chosen for “their willingness to bare themselves to the world.”
To coincide with the launch of the star-studded ads, a video directed by filmmaker Bardia Zeinali was released. It features the entire cast dancing and posing in front of the camera while wearing head-to-toe Calvin Klein.
“An ode to self-expression, each set captures the talent in their own exaggerated world, with stripped-back and raw elements that are inherent to the brand and drive home the DEAL WITH IT narrative,” representatives for the brand said in a statement.
Lil Nas X posted the campaign video on Instagram, and joked that he had no idea what was going on in the clip.
“bro idk (I don’t know) what the hell is going on… @CalvinKlein. Deal With It. #MYCALVINS,” he wrote.
Kendall also shared the video with her 123 million followers on Instagram, and wrote: “i love my @calvinklein. deal with it. #MYCALVINS.”
According to the American fashion house, DEAL WITH IT is an expansion of last year’s hugely successful #MYCALVINS campaign, which starred Yummy hitmaker Justin, model Kendall, Billie Eilish, and Shawn Mendes.

Lil Nas X really hurt his feet when he wore heeled boots for the first time at the American Music Awards.
The Old Town Road hitmaker reflected on his year in fashion with Variety and said the neon green tuxedo, zebra print shirt and gloves he wore to the ceremony back in November was the wildest thing he’s ever worn.
“I feel like this is the craziest outfit I’ve ever put on,” the 20-year-old rapper said of the two-piece creation by Christopher John Rogers. “Whenever they panned to the audience, I stood out.”
However, the Grammy-winning star suffered in the name of fashion.
“It was my first time wearing shoes with heels and it hurt so much,” he complained.
Nas, who works with stylist Hodo Musa, also revealed that the rhinestone suit he wore to the MTV Video Music Awards in August last year was created by womenswear designer Christian Cowan and heavily influenced by late music icon Prince.
“Definitely Prince-inspired – I wanted to bring that into the future and do a remix,” he explained.
But Nas’ greatest fashion memory was back in October, when he was invited to Beyonce and JAY-Z’s epic star-studded Halloween bash, and put in the extra work to make sure his outfit would stand out.
He replicated rap mogul Cam’ron’s iconic head-to-toe pink fur look at the Baby Phat fashion show in 2002, and Nas told Variety that he made the costume himself.
“I had been putting this together for a month pretty much because it’s hard to get that (faux) fur material,” he shared. “It was a very beloved costume.”

Alongside a snap of Lil Nas X in a hot pink suit and matching cowboy hat, she wrote, “Breathtaking @lilnasx … such a look!! Love it!!” while beside a picture of Lizzo rocking an Old Hollywood-inspired strapless white gown, the fashion star praised: “Such a #RedCarpet dream… Perfection! Lizzo!”
Elsewhere, members of the Versace atelier made the black ballgown sported by Camila Cabello for her red carpet entrance, as well as the lilac dress she wore to perform First Man during the show, and the sexy canary yellow number she slipped into later on.
Other designers to make outfits for multiple artists included Christian Siriano, who dreamed up glamorous looks for the likes of Shania Twain, Best New Artist nominee YOLA, Lizzo, and Demi Lovato.
“Demi, it was an honour to create for you tonight and WOW that was unbelievable! Love you!” he captioned a picture of the singer sporting a white ballgown while performing her new song Anyone.
Other standout looks on the night included the white beaded Ralph & Russo dress donned by Priyanka Chopra, the monogrammed Gucci number sported by multiple Grammy Award winner Billie Eilish, and the Cinderella-esque Giambattista Valli dress rocked by Ariana Grande as she made her red carpet entrance.
