Olivia Wilde is seeking answers after learning an unspecified airline has edited out an intimate same-sex scene from her film Booksmart.

The actress/director was alerted to the missing footage, which includes a scene in which two female characters attempt to have sex, when a fan recently watched the movie on a flight and noted something was lacking.

“Tried watching Booksmart on the plane and they cut the ENTIRE lesbian hookup scene like not even a KISS was allowed! oh but don’t worry guys, the Straights got their kiss (sic),” the devotee, Michaela Barton, tweeted, prompting Olivia to respond, “This is truly a bummer. There is no nudity in this scene. What makes it too obscene for airplane viewing? What airline?”

The 35-year-old then added: “I don’t understand it. There’s censorship airline to airline of films. There must be some kind of governing board to determine.

“We rated a certain way. If it’s not X-rated, surely, it’s acceptable on an airplane. There’s insane violence of bodies being ripped in half and yet a love scene between two women is censored from the film. It’s such an integral part of the character’s journey. My heart just broke. I don’t understand it. It’s confusing.”

Booksmart, which marked Olivia’s feature directorial debut, was released in May. The flick starred Beanie Feldstein and Kaitlyn Dever as two graduating high school girls who set out to finally break the rules and party on their last day of classes, and also featured appearances from Jessica Williams, Will Forte, Lisa Kudrow, and Jason Sudeikis.

Courteney Cox has shared a snap showing her teenage daughter Coco wearing one of her red carpet dresses 21 years later.

The Friends star, who shares the 14-year-old with ex-husband David Arquette, posted the two side-by-side photos of herself and Coco in the purple embroidered dress with velvet trim straps.

“I’m not one to hold onto things but this was a damn good purchase!” Courteney captioned the Instagram photo. “21 years later…”

The 54-year-old first wore the dress at the premiere of the movie Snake Eyes in 1998, which she attended with David. The couple married in 1999, welcomed Coco in 2004, and began divorce proceedings in 2012.

Lisa Kudrow, who is still close to her Friends co-star, was struck by the resemblance between Courteney and Coco, and commented on the picture, “Oh wow…”

Several fans pointed out that reusing a 21-year-old dress is very in line with the actress’ Friends character, Monica Geller.

“This is such a Monica thing to do,” one fan commented.

Last year, Courteney opened up about the challenges of raising a teenage daughter.

“I want her to tell me everything, and she doesn’t want to tell me anything,” she told People. “Exactly the opposite of the childhood I had… We bicker, let’s be honest, but we love each other. We laugh a lot, for sure.”

And she added that, in addition to patience, Coco has taught her “to not take things personally, because really it’s not about us. Whatever moods that she goes through where things happen, I’m the safest place to be able to take it out on. It’s never about me, unless it’s actually about me.”

Beanie Feldstein struggled to keep her cool around Lisa Kudrow when they shared scenes together in Booksmart.

In the new coming-of-age comedy, the Lady Bird actress and co-star Kaitlyn Dever play best friends Molly and Amy, and the Friends star portrays Amy’s supportive mum.

But Beanie, who is Jonah Hill’s younger sister, didn’t realise she’d be sharing scenes with her idol when she signed on for Olivia Wilde’s directorial debut, and really had to keep her inner voice silent on set when she was around.

“I’m the number one Lisa Kudrow fan on this earth,” she told WENN. “I have a sticker of her on my computer. She was literally one of the biggest things to ever happen to me.

“I find her to be the loveliest human being ever to exist. She is remarkable to watch. I’m such a fan that it was hard for me to function as a human being.

“In one scene, I was lying on the bed, and the first thing that came to my mind, as I was fake strumming the autoharp, was one of (Lisa’s Friends character) Phoebe’s songs on Friends: ‘Monica, Monica, have a Happy Hanukkah.’ In my head, I was singing this, and I kept telling myself, ‘Beanie, if you sing that out loud, I swear to God… Keep it together, Feldstein. Mother of God, do not mess this up!'”

The 25-year-old previously told WENN that she lived with Kaitlyn while shooting the film and it helped them become best friends like their characters.

“It was at Olivia’s suggestion that we room together, and Kaitlyn and I looked at each other and said, ‘Let’s do it,'” she said. “Living together has made us the best of friends. It’s been wonderful. We love each other.”

Heidi Klum was pretty in peach as she led the glamour on the second night of the Creative Arts Emmys on Sunday (09Sep18).

The 45-year-old model and TV presenter showcased her incredible figure in an off-the-shoulder full-length gown from Elie Saab, which featured a skirt scattered with sequins.

Project Runway host Heidi teamed the show-stopping dress with a pair of turquoise drop earrings and a pair of Christian Louboutin heels, which almost led to a wardrobe malfunction as they got stuck in her train as she posed for photographers. However, the red carpet veteran seamlessly avoided an embarrassing situation as she unstuck the shoe and continued with her evening.

Heidi wasn’t the only star to dress to impress for the Los Angeles ceremony. Chrissy Teigen had a lot to celebrate at the occasion, with her singer husband John Legend achieving EGOT status thanks to his Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert win, but is also sure to top many a best-dressed list thanks to her simple but elegant black gown.

The ensemble featured a beaded belt which drew attention to mother-of-two Chrissy’s enviably slim waist, and the model accessorised her look with several rings and matching earrings. A plain clutch bag completed the look, while Chrissy kept her hair and make-up simple.

Lisa Kudrow and Leah Remini also opted for black for the occasion, with the former Friends star opting for a loose-fitting jumpsuit, while Leah added some sparkle to her otherwise simple dress with two starburst designs on the hip.

Meanwhile, TV chef Padma Lakshmi went for full-on drama for the event, donning a one-shouldered red corseted gown, which hugged her figure in all the right places.

The bombshell dress featured a thigh-high split and low-cut neckline, adding to the va-va-voom nature of Padma’s ensemble, while the 48-year-old ensured all eyes were on the gown by teaming it with a pair of simple strappy heels.
