Lucy Hale honoured her pet dog with a sweet new tattoo.

The Pretty Little Liars star debuted the meaningful ink with two black-and-white images on Instagram on Monday, and revealed that she also had a touching design dedicated to her sister’s three young children.

Lucy’s new additions were done by Los Angeles-based tattoo artist Winter Stone, with one design in the crook of her elbow that simply reads “Elvis” after her beloved Maltipoo, who regularly features in pictures and posts on the star’s social media.

The second design on her inner forearm reads, “14 16 20,” and is a sweet tribute to the birth years of her sister’s three children, Glenys, Lula, and Oliver.

“For my loves – thank you @winterstone,” the 31-year-old captioned the photos.

The Katy Keene actress has 13 other tattoos, including her grandmother’s handwriting on her forearm, a vintage lightbulb on the back of her left arm, and an elephant on the inside of her elbow that she picked up during a trip to Cambodia.

Back in March, she revealed that her smallest tattoo, a lowercase ‘a’ on her left index finger, which was inspired by Pretty Little Liars, was in fact, one of the most painful to get.

“It’s one of my favourite ones but it actually hurt the most!” she told Wired.

Lucy Hale has been named as the new global brand ambassador for beauty brand Almay.

The Pretty Little Liars actress will soon begin fronting a series of campaigns for the company, with the marketing to be focused on her clean skincare regime.

“I’m a beauty and skincare lover at heart, but I’ve always struggled with finding the right products for my sensitive skin,” she said. “For someone who has and still deals with skin issues, it’s so important that, from start to finish, I keep my beauty routine as gentle as possible, which is why I love Almay products. From their eyeliners to their mascaras to their make-up remover towelettes, Almay uses gentle ingredients in products that are specially formulated to avoid irritation. They’re the perfect solution for me – easy to use, high-quality products that don’t sacrifice performance.”

In addition, Lucy will help Almay bosses launch a range of new products later in the year.

And Silvia Galfo, global brand president of Revlon, which owns Almay, couldn’t be more thrilled to have the star onboard.

“Lucy embodies Almay’s approach to effortless beauty. She’s knowledgeable about what she applies to her sensitive skin and knows that using gentle formulas with carefully selected ingredients doesn’t mean she has to compromise on payoff or performance,” commented Silvia. “Lucy embraces our brand values of clean, effortless, hypoallergenic beauty in her daily life and is the perfect partner to inspire women to feel their best and be confident, no matter their skin needs. We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome her to the Almay family.”

Lucy, 30, follows in the footsteps of former Almay brand ambassadors including Kate Hudson and Carrie Underwood.

Ruby Rose has unveiled a unique new buzzcut hairstyle.

While holed up at home amid the coronavirus lockdown, the Batwoman actress has been experimenting with all sorts of hairstyles, including tiny pigtails and a mullet.

However, she took to Instagram on Thursday to share that she had decided to shave her entire head, apart from one small braid on the right side of her head.

“Slipped.. fell on a shaver..,” she wrote alongside a selfie.

Ruby also uploaded a TikTok video showing her posing in front of a mirror with a short crop featuring purple highlights, before hitting a light switch and appearing with her new buzzcut.

The Australian star’s latest post quickly racked up over 260,000 likes and thousands of comments, with actress Lucy Hale and stylist Brad Goreski both offering their approval.

However, Ruby’s hairdresser Riawna Capri appeared to be a little surprised.

“You. Look. Stunning. But…now I’m legitimately double whammed out of a job,” she joked.

Elsewhere, another fan commented: “That must have felt so good to shave it all off. New beginnings- out with the old, in with whatever this next weird chapter holds for all of us,” and the 34-year-old simply replied: “Freedom.”

Ruby is no stranger to experimenting with her hair and previously shared in an interview with Allure that she regularly takes to the Internet to get inspiration for her looks.

“When I’m getting ready for an event, I literally just do this,” she shared. “I go onto my computer, I steal all the looks from my favourite people.”

Lucy Hale rates herself as a snack connoisseur

Lucy Hale always keeps her kitchen stocked with a wide variety of snacks.

In a new video for Harper’s Bazaar, the Pretty Little Liars actress candidly discussed her diet and favourite foods, insisting that she “snacks 24/7”.

“I’m the biggest snacker. I love pita bread and any kind of hummus… celery hearts, it’s the centre of the celery – the best part – and carrots, but I also love this candy called Smart Sweets, it’s like the ‘healthier’ candy. Peach rings, Swedish fish, gummy bears,” said Lucy. “My mom used to say, even as a little girl, she would have to fill her purse with snacks because the second (I) turned hungry, it was game over. I still, till this day, get really hangry, but I’m not screaming and crying anymore. I (just) can’t focus, I can’t talk, I get irritable. I love snacking.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the star shared that she looks forward to breakfast each day, whether it be a protein bar on the run or a full sit-down meal.

“I think about breakfast all the time,” the 30-year-old admitted. “I like all the meals, but I think breakfast is definitely my favourite. But my breakfast can vary from a peanut butter Perfect food bar to chocolate chip pancakes, with bacon and eggs. Just kind of depends on the day.”

And Lucy’s breakfast isn’t complete without a cup of coffee – though she is missing visiting her favourite cafes while in lockdown during the coronavirus crisis.

“I’ve been really becoming buddies with my Keurig (coffee machine),” she joked. “And I like a lot of creamer with my coffee. I’m slowly trying to work my way down to black coffee, because Lord knows how much sugar I’m having in the morning. But you know what? It really gets me going.”

Lucy Hale struggled with reactions to her changing body while playing a high school student on the hit show Pretty Little Liars.

The 30-year-old is best known for playing Aria Montgomery on the U.S. teen drama series from 2010 to 2017, during which time her body changed, and Lucy has confessed that she struggled with the negative reaction on social media to her slight weight gain.

“Looking back on it now, it’s like, Oh, that was really tough. You did feel like you had to uphold some sort of image,” Lucy explained to U.S. Cosmopolitan magazine. “I’ve always been very petite, but over the course of eight years, my body changed. I gained a little bit of weight, and seeing how people reacted to that really messed with my head.”

And as the show became more popular, her low confidence took a further hit when she began getting breakouts.

“I started getting all these stress-related, hormone-related breakouts. They had this specialty light for me,” she recalled.

Now, Lucy shared her regret at the time she’s spent worrying over her looks, especially as it was out of her control.

“I look back and I think of all the minutes and hours I’ve wasted upset over how I looked or something that was out of my control,” she shared. “I wish I could get that time back, although it has led me to where I’m at now.”

The Katy Keene star celebrated the return of her confidence when she hit 30 by chopping her brunette hair into a chic shoulder-length bob.

“It feels nice to just not give a f**k about certain things,” she said of her decision. “It was the most liberating thing I’ve ever done.”

Lucy Hale is undergoing laser surgery to remove six of her old tattoos.

The 30-year-old has been adding to her collection of body art consistently over the years and has a bunch of around 14 small and delicate tattoos on her body, mostly in places that can be hidden by clothing.

However, in a cover interview for U.S. Cosmopolitan magazine, Lucy revealed she was in the process of having six tattoos removed, including ones that depict an elephant, a light bulb, and a Bible verse.

“I got it done out of the country and it was not done well,” the Pretty Little Liars star said of the elephant design, before adding that she was “over” the light bulb.

Regarding the Bible verse on her rib cage, she noted, “I’m not religious by any means at all anymore”, and explained how the “thick” font isn’t in keeping with the single needle art she has on the rest of her body.

However, there are several pieces of body art that Lucy has decided to keep, including “I love you” written in her grandmother’s handwriting on her arm, an evil eye, and a quote from the Instagram poet Atticus which reads, “Love her but leave her wild.”

In an interview with Refinery29 last July, the brunette beauty explained that she was removing some tattoos due to their outdated style.

“It’s not that I don’t like them, it’s just the style of them is so different now,” she shared. “I got them when I was like 17. Things are different, times have changed. I love a lot of mine, it’s just like (I) look back on some, and I’m like, ‘What was I thinking?”

Oscar de la Renta has tapped into its Latin American roots for spring/summer 2020.

The luxury fashion house, which is helmed by co-creative directors Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim, unveiled their latest collection at the Cunard Building as part of New York Fashion Week on Tuesday night, with celebrities including Lucy Hale, Karolina Kurkova, and Priyanka Chopra all perched on the front row.

In the show notes, the designers explained that they were inspired by late brand founder de la Renta’s Dominican heritage, as well as Garcia’s childhood, as he grew up in the same nation, as well as in northern Spain.

With a backdrop featuring colourful arched walls, potted palm trees, and baskets filled with fruit, the presentation opened with a model walking the white runway in a draped pink and peach dress matched with a pale pink blazer, with the ensemble topped off with strappy white stilettos.

A series of dresses made of floaty fabrics in yellow and floral print followed, with Garcia and Kim also introducing knitted tops and pleated skirts, kaftan-style dresses, striped asymmetrical gowns with frayed edging, as well as strapless gowns with woven patterning.

Featuring a palette of sunset hues, including lemon yellows, orange, and blush pink, the line was interspersed with touches of sky blue, olive green, and coral.

The show wrapped up with a parade of models showing off glamorous evening gowns made of taffeta or tiered tulle, with Candice Swanepoel rocking a strapless nude number with a corset-like bodice, and Irina Shayk closing the spectacle in a gorgeous black gown with halterneck and high-low skirt.

New York Fashion Week continues on Wednesday with shows from Michael Kors and Dennis Basso.

The 29-year-old wore a colourful top, shorts and matching blazer in the Italian fashion house’s vibrant hibiscus print, along with Kat Maconie lace-up neon orange sandals, to the outdoor ceremony in Hermosa Beach in California.

Taylor accessorised with Misahara hoop earrings and rings by Irene Neuwirth, VRAM, and Emily P Wheeler.

The You Need to Calm Down hitmaker gave an empowering speech as she accepted the show’s first-ever Icon Award, telling her fans it’s “normal to make mistakes” as she clutched onto her custom surfboard award, which was emblazoned with pictures of her three cats, Meredith, Olivia, and Benjamin.

“If you’re out there and you’re being really hard on yourself right now for something that’s happened, or messing up or feeling embarrassed, it’s normal. That’s what going to happen to you in life. No one gets through unscathed. We’re all going to have a few scratches on us,” she said.

Zendaya, who scooped the Choice Summer Movie Actress prize for her role as MJ in Spider-Man: Far From Home, opted for a casual look on the blue carpet, and wore a yellow checked shirt and pastel green shorts by Jacquemus as well as white Le Silla heels.

Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale, who co-hosted the show, rocked a red leopard print minidress, Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland wore a cute pink scallop two-piece by Teresa Helbig with Loriblu shoes, and singer Halle Bailey, who is to portray Ariel in Disney’s live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, stunned in a chic Jonathan Simkhai cutout bodysuit with Zimmermann pants.

Lucas Till and Lucy Hale have bagged lead roles in Spike Lee executive-produced drama Son of the South.

The 28-year-old X-Men: Apocalypse actor will star as Bob Zellner in the movie, based on Zellner’s 2008 autobiography The Wrong Side of Murder Creek: A White Southerner in the Freedom Movement, according to Variety.

The movie will tell the story of how Zellner, an Alabama native and grandson of a member of secret society Ku Klux Klan, joined ranks with African-American students fighting for their civil rights in 60s segregated America.

Former Pretty Little Liars star Hale will appear alongside Till as Carol Ann, Zellner’s college girlfriend, in the movie which is currently shooting in Montgomery, Alabama.

Lee, who won the 2019 Academy Award for the BlacKkKlansman adapted screenplay, is executive producing with his longtime editor, Barry Alexander Brown, who received an editing nomination for the 2018 movie – directing from his own screenplay which he wrote almost decade ago.

Brown first crossed paths with Zellner in 1968 when, as a student at Montgomery’s Lanier High School, he contacted Zellner, by then a well-known figure in the civil rights movement, about his high school not being allowed to lower their flag to half-mast following the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King.

“He had so many stories, and every one of the stories was jaw-dropping, so I knew there was a movie there,” Brown told website Yellowhammernews.com. “I just didn’t know what the movie was. Then it hit me to do it about his transition about being somebody about to graduate from Huntingdon College – sort of a good ol’ boy – and in a matter of a few months, he was in the centre of the civil rights movement.”

Cast members include Lex Scott Davis, Julia Ormond as Virginia Durr, Cedric the Entertainer as Reverend Ralph Abernathy and Sharonne Lanier as Rosa Parks. While Brian Dennehy stars as Zellner’s Ku Klux Klan member grandfather and Chaka Forman will portray the role of his activist father Jim Forman.

Producers on the project are Colin Bates, Eve Pomerance, Bill Black, Stan Erdreich, and River Bend Pictures.

Charlotte McKinney has been tapped as the face of Guess’ spring/summer 2019 swimwear line.

The model/actress was first selected to appear in a Guess campaign back in 2014, when she was discovered by bosses at the American clothing brand on social media.

Charlotte has since gone on to front clothing and lingerie imagery for Guess and is now wowing in the newly unveiled swimwear capsule entitled Icon, which she helped to create.

“It’s been such an honour to create, design and shoot for the iconic brand that we know as Guess. I owe a lot of my career success to Guess, it was my first big modelling job and a truly unforgettable experience,” she said. “It’s such a beautiful feeling to be part of the Guess family, to have shot several campaigns over the years, and now to create my own capsule collection is a dream come true.”

The swimwear line is comprised of 12 different “highly feminine” designs, with the pieces featuring leopard, gingham, and polka dot prints, as well as graphic stripes.

Based around a red, black and white colour palette, the beachwear is available in a range of cuts, including ’80s-inspired one-piece swimsuits, halter bikini tops and string briefs.

For the campaign, Charlotte was photographed by Derek Kettela on the sunny beaches of California, with controversial art director and Guess co-founder Paul Marciano, who has been accused of sexual harassment by former Guess girl Kate Upton, thrilled with the end result.

“Watching Charlotte’s international stardom rapidly grow since her first campaign with appearances in music videos, movies and on TV, has been an enjoyable journey to follow. Since discovering Charlotte and welcoming her into the Guess family, she has been featured in several swimwear and lingerie campaigns with Guess. We are thrilled to welcome her back for another campaign with Guess and launch her first swimwear capsule,” he said.

The Icon capsule collection will be available to purchase from the beginning of March (19).

In addition to her gig with Guess, Charlotte also has a string of Hollywood projects lined-up, including a part in upcoming supernatural horror film Fantasy Island alongside Michael Pena and Lucy Hale.
