Madonna has hinted at an upcoming beauty collaboration with Kim Kardashian.

The pop icon branched into beauty with her MDNA skincare line, which first launched in Asia before being rolled out in the U.S. last year (17).

Reality TV star Kim has also turned her attention to beauty in recent times, and is behind cosmetics company KKW Beauty.

In an exciting twist though, it seems as though the two stars are set to join forces

“When Worlds Collide @mdnaskin @kkwbeauty @nunoxico #beauty #skincare #mdnaskin #kkwbeauty #thermalwaters #reinventyourself,” the Holiday hitmaker teased on Instagram on Thursday (08Mar18), alongside a video of her and Kim.

In the black and white footage, Madonna and Kim can be seen walking down a corridor together.

Rumours of a possible collaboration started to gain momentum after the 59-year-old singer posted a photo of her and Kim to her Twitter account on Tuesday, captioned: “A foreshadowing of things to come.”

Later that day the pair appeared together in Los Angeles at the launch of MDNA’s latest product launch, The Reinvention Cream, where the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star shared that she used Madonna’s Skin Serum and Skin Rose Mist to give her face a pick-me-up the morning after partying at the singer’s post-Oscars bash on Sunday night.

“I am a moisturiser freak and it was so moisturising and I just used (those two products) and got up the next morning and left (to bring the kids to school),” explained the 37-year-old mother-of-three, with Madonna adding that keeping out of the sun and avoiding smoking “saved” her skin before she could afford to invest in the best products.

Though a collaboration has yet to be officially confirmed by either Madonna or Kim, the new video assured fans that the big reveal was “coming soon”.

Madonna passed on fashion cast offs to young Kim Kardashian

Madonna helped to turn Kim Kardashian and her sister Kourtney into little fashionistas when they were kids, after handing over a “shoe box” full of trendy costume jewellery.

The Kardashians used to be neighbours with Madonna’s then-manager in California, so the youngsters got to say hi to the pop superstar whenever she would stay over.

Kim shared some of her favourite memories from that time during Tuesday’s (06Mar18) MDNA x KKW Beauty event in Los Angeles for the two stars’ cosmetics brands, which Madonna also attended.

“(Madonna), at a time period in her life, moved in with her manager who happened to be our next door neighbour growing up,” Kim recalled. “Our parents were good friends with her manager, so we’d walk their dog after school (sic). So every day we would go over and we would see Madonna. Like, we were shaking.”

The reality TV beauty revealed on one occasion, she and her big sister hit the jackpot – as Madonna decided to pass down a treasure trove of fashionable accessories she had grown tired of.

“I remember so vividly her coming in one day in ripped jeans and a white T-shirt and these combat boots and she had dark short hair and this leather jacket, and she just walked in and she was like, ‘You know what, girls? I’m over these bracelets,'” Kim smiled. “And she took off her bracelets and gave us these black rubber bracelets.”

“I was so stupid, by the way,” quipped Madonna. “They don’t make those bracelets anymore!”

The cheap accessories weren’t the only items the singer handed over.

“She gave us all of these neon bracelets and was like, ‘Wait I’ll be right back,’ and gave us this whole shoe box of all of this neon jewellery and earrings,” Kim said. “Kourtney and I went to school the next day and all of our friends were like, ‘Oh my God, that’s so cool, where’d you get those?’ I’m like, ‘Madonna gave it to us.’ They were like, ‘Yeah, right!'”

Kanye West’s wife also remembered watching the pop icon shoot her music video for Cherish back in 1989.

“My best friend Allison Azoff and I were at her parents’ beach house and we went outside hearing music and saw you on the beach filming,” Kim told Madonna. “We sat there all day and watched you and the team… and we were mesmerised and we just talk about it all the time… It was the best memory ever.”

Actress Serayah McNeill has been unveiled as the fresh face of Madonna’s Material Girl clothing line.

The Empire star joins a long list of Hollywood ‘it-girls’, including Rita Ora, Zendaya and Sofia Richie, who have taken on the role in the past, and she couldn’t be happier to front the 2018 spring campaign.

“I’m excited to be the face of Material Girl because of everything she (Madonna) stands for,” Serayah gushes in a statement to People. “A Material Girl is edgy, fierce and owns who she is, and she’s guaranteed to look cool in anything and everything she puts on.”

Designers at Material Girl, established by Madonna and her daughter Lourdes Leon in 2010, have embraced the message of female empowerment in the spring 2018 looks, using bold colours, offbeat silhouettes and eye-catching floral designs in a bid to promote women’s liberation.

“I loved the floral print tube dress,” Serayah shares. “That was one of my favourites (of the new collection). I just feel like it is something that I would really wear and it fit really, really well. It’s fun for spring.”

“I just think it’s a really dope brand and cool for all the young girls,” the 22-year-old adds. “It’s somewhere that I even have shopped at before so it is very relatable and I feel like people can access it.”

Serayah finds the new collection to be very versatile, revealing she has found a way to incorporate items from the Material Girl photoshoot into her everyday outfits.

“I love to try classic trends and I also love new trends, so whether it is like the clear boot or a clear sandal that’s really trendy,” the actress explains, “or just, like, the classic staples like the jean jacket over the tube dress which is actually what I wore in the photoshoot, which I really love because that’s something I feel like everyone could just grab when they leave the house.”

Madonna has used forks as tools in a skin-tightening facial, and shared footage with fans on her social media account.

The pop legend filmed herself undergoing the unusual treatment and added a brunette fringe with a blue bow to her face with the help of a quirky filter, while strange fork-based tools were rubbed over her face by Madonna’s skincare guru Tarin Skillets.

“It’s amazing, look at this little facial happening with fork (sic). Forks are really good, they tighten the skin. Have you tightened your face with a fork?” she asked her Instagram followers.

The 59-year-old Grammy winner tried to add another comedic spin to the video by altering her voice to make it sound high pitched and squeaky, before going on to drop a dark gag on her viewers.

“Have you ever stabbed someone with a fork? I’ve done both. Anyway, it’s crazy,” she joked.

The star captioned her bizarre post with ‘Skillets Forks My Face’ alongside a selection of hashtags including a shout out to her own luxury skin line MDNA Skin, which was released in the U.S. last year (17) and has received wide praise from beauty bloggers.

“It is the perfect combination of formulation and technology. Until now, it’s something I have only seen professionally (in offices like mine) with drugs and lasers,” her dermatologist Dr. Paul Jarrod Frank previously told W magazine. “The chrome clay formulation allows the mask to be removed magnetically without any residue other than the dewy remains of an active serum, while electric vibrations deliver the active ingredients into skin using what is called dermal infusion.”

Madonna has maintained her ageless face by following a strict skincare regime over the years, and created MDNA Skin based on her own needs while she was touring.
