Kylie Jenner has divided fans by allowing her daughter Stormi Webster to wear large hoop earrings.
The reality TV star took to Instagram on Wednesday to upload a slideshow of images showing the two-year-old posing in a white outfit and sneakers while standing next to a car.
“Go best friend,” she captioned the snap.
However, a number of Kylie’s 163 million followers soon noticed Stormi was wearing a pair of gold earrings featuring her name in italic font, with the luxury accessory receiving a mixed response.
“Sis….the hoops are too big. Cute concept, but she’s two…not 12,” one user wrote, while another commented, “Ugh those earrings must be so uncomfortable for her.”
A third added: “Putting hoop earrings on a little girl…COME ON.”
But in spite of the concern, Kylie’s post still quickly racked up over eight million likes. The 22-year-old also received praise from her celebrity pals.
Malika Haqq posted, “Yassss earrings,” and Paris Hilton uploaded a heart eyes emoji.
The make-up mogul has not responded in the comments section, however, she did later upload a video on her Instagram Stories in which she asked Stormi to take off the earrings, to which the tot replied, “No!” and pulled away.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians personality recently opened up to Harper’s Bazaar about raising her little girl with ex Travis Scott, who she split with in October after more than two years of dating.
“We have such a great relationship,” Kylie insisted of the Astroworld rapper. “We’re like best friends. We both love Stormi and want what’s best for her. We stay connected and coordinated.”
