Designer Michael Costello has slammed one of his famous clients who refused to help him during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Project Runway star recently launched a collection of reusable non-surgical masks, and for every one bought, announced that he would donate two to any hospital in the U.S.

To reach his goal of donating one million masks to frontline workers and first responders as part of his Million Masks Mission, Costello had appealed to his celebrity clients to help him spread the word of his initiative, and in a scathing Instagram post on Tuesday, the designer blasted one famous face that had ignored his request.

“Remember how every time you needed a dress, I would instantly drop everything to prioritise you? I would stop all my projects to make you something special last minute? Sometimes even within the same day? Now I ask you for help to give back to our community yet you leave me on ‘seen,'” he wrote, referencing his Instagram direct message had been read, but not replied to.

He did not name the culprit to his 1.4 million followers, but did suggest that it was the end of his professional relationship with his high-profile client.

“So now you don’t need a dress because we are all stuck in our living rooms with nowhere to go…” Costello wrote. “Just know that I will always remember the night I asked you for a little help and you left me on seen. The next time you need my help, just don’t feel sad when I pretend like I didn’t see you message either.”

The 37-year-old signed off his fiery message with, “Xoxoxo petty b**ch.”

Christian Siriano is the latest designer to offer to dress Bebe Rexha for the Grammys after fans got in touch with the inclusive fashion star.

Bebe called out the fashion world on Monday, revealing she can’t find a designer to dress her toned U.S. size 8 (U.K. 12) frame because they deem her “too big” to wear their creations.

While she didn’t name names, she let the people in question know that she is now no longer interested in wearing their outfits.

Numerous labels have since reached out and offered to dress Bebe, who is up for two awards at the annual prizegiving on 10 February (19), with Christian the latest to get in touch.

“Thanks everyone for thinking of us. We have dressed @beberexha a few times and would be happy to do it again for her,” he wrote on his social media accounts.

Christian previously swooped in when Ghostbusters actress Leslie Jones publicly revealed no designers would dress her for the premiere of the rebooted film franchise.

Since winning reality TV competition Project Runway in 2008, the 33-year-old has become known for his inclusive attitude to style and fashion.

Michael Costello has also offered up his designer services.

“I don’t blame her for being upset, I’ve been friends with Bebe for a really long time, I’m sad that she didn’t call me first because I would have said yes,” Michael told TMZ. “But I still offer to dress Bebe. I’m going to get bashed for saying this but, I’m with her. F**k those other designers who only want to dress the size two girls or the girls who are presenting or the nominees.”

August Getty, Tanya Taylor, and Elizabeth Kennedy are among the other fashion stars to get in touch with Bebe ahead of February’s ceremony.

Shanina Shaik has given fans a glimpse into her gorgeous wedding held in The Bahamas.

The Australian model wed DJ Ruckus, real name Gregory Andrews, at a ceremony held at a resort on the Eleuthera island on Saturday (28Apr18), the same location where they got engaged in 2016.

After initially releasing just one photo from her wedding on social media, Shanina has now shared details and images from her big day with Brides.com and shared that it felt natural to return to the luxury locale for the nuptials.

“I’ve always dreamt of marrying on the beach,” she said. “Our wedding reflected our personal style (simple and elegant) with the added touch of a bohemian vibe as well.”

Shanina’s bridesmaids included Nicole Williams, Nadine Leopold, Natalie Halcro, Jasmine Tookes and Olivia Pierson, with the ladies all wearing gowns in neutral colours from Australian label Zimmermann, while guests at the wedding included Ashlee Simpson and her husband Evan Ross, as well as Run-DMC star Reverend Run, who officiated the service.

For the main ceremony, Shanina turned to Ralph & Russo’s Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo, who made her an off-the-shoulder lace gown with sheer hem over the course of eight months.

“I wanted it to be simple, bohemian, and elegant,” the 27-year-old explained. “I love a boho style and I wanted to give it a little twist by incorporating lace.”

Ruckus sported a Tom Ford tuxedo for the bash, while Shanina chose to change into another gown for the reception – another white dress by designer Michael Costello. The former Victoria’s Secret star also sported jewellery from Lorraine Schwartz, which complemented her engagement ring and new wedding band, while she wore two pairs of new high heels that she selected on a recent shopping trip.

“After looking at so many amazing options, I decided to go with a stunning pair of Aquazzura shoes,” she smiled, adding that her second choice was a pair of embellished Jimmy Choo stilettos.
