Sarah Hyland has clapped back at a social media troll who claimed she had a spray tan for the 2020 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards.

The Modern Family actress looked stunning in a floral Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini gown, which featured a high-low skirt, at the celebrity-studded ceremony on Sunday night.

Sarah paired the outfit with silver heels and had her brunette hair slicked back into a chic low ponytail, and while posing for photographers on the red carpet, showed off the deep tan that she had topped up during a holiday to Mexico earlier this month.

The 29-year-old shared a series of snaps of her at the event on Instagram and joked that she had a blanket on hand if she got cold.

“If my legs got cold, I had an extra built-in blanket. Thanks to the village that put all of this together I felt like a goddess last night,” she wrote.

However, one irate follower threw shade at the star, and blasted her for allegedly faking her tan.

“The spray tan is way too much,” they posted.

The comment promoted Sarah to quickly reply: “I’ll tell the actual sun to go easy on me next time I see it…”

However, her fiance, former The Bachelorette alum Wells Adams, had no complaints about her show-stopping look, and simply commented, “Dear lord”, alongside a drooling emoji.

“Just. Every. Thing,” Sarah’s longtime friend and fellow actress Vanessa Hudgens wrote, while Brandi Cyrus added: “Soooo gorgeous!!!!!!!”

Sarah Hyland has been tapped to front a new campaign for No B.S. Skin Care.

The Modern Family actress takes serious measures when it comes to her health, having been diagnosed with kidney dysplasia as a child and undergone two kidney transplants.

Now, Sarah has teamed with bosses at skincare brand No B.S. Skin Care to educate people about the importance of using clean, non-toxic formulas.

“Staying healthy is important to me, and that means taking control of what I put in and on my body. My lifestyle detox started with clean eating, but when I realised how many toxins were hidden in the products I used every day, I knew I had to make a big switch,” she said. “No B.S. resonated with me because their products are made with good-for-you ingredients that actually improve skin health. My No B.S. regimen has four powerful basics you can use every day to clean up your skincare game. My hope is that everyone who tries it will feel so good in their skin that they don’t mind going make-up-free.”

As part of her daily regimen, Sarah uses No B.S. Skin Care’s Gentle Foaming Cleanser, Purifying Facial Toner, Vitamin C + E Serum, and the Day + Night Hyaluronic Cream.

All of the formulas are made without harmful ingredients like parabens, phthalates, sulphates, synthetics, and toxic petrochemicals.

Accordingly, Diana Briceno, chief executive officer of No B.S. Skin Care, is thrilled to have the 29-year-old promoting the brand.

“Sarah’s story really resonated with our team and our brand because like so many of our customers, she realized that what she ate, drank, and used on her skin could contribute to toxins building up her body,” commented Diana. “At No B.S., we love sharing stories like Sarah’s to bring awareness to the importance of clean beauty ingredients and products.”

Ariel Winter has weekly therapy sessions to keep her “mentally and physically healthy”.

The Modern Family star opened up about her wellness routine and highlighted the importance of self-care at the Spotlight charity event, benefiting foster care youth, at Paramount Studios in Hollywood over the weekend.

“I think it’s really important for kids to take care of themselves and make that a priority,” the actress told Entertainment Tonight.

The star then opened up about how she’s improving her own life through exercise and mental wellness, noting: “You can take care of yourself and not be selfish. You can make sure to prioritise how you feel.

“I think that that’s something that I didn’t do for a very long time and I’m doing that now and that feels great.”

Highlighting the benefit of exercise and weekly therapy, the 21-year-old, who began appearing on the hit ABC show at the age of 11, added: “We only get one life and you’ve gotta live your own, you’ve gotta do as much as you can to make sure you’re feeling healthy mentally and physically and that’s something that I’m doing a lot more of now and it’s nice.”

The final season of Modern Family airs Wednesdays on ABC.

Ariel Winter no longer reads social media comments because she is tired of online trolls criticising her body shape.

The Modern Family actress has previously been open about her fluctuating figure, explaining that factors such as medication and exercise can have a dramatic effect on her size, and noted that she is often unfairly targeted by critics.

However, in a new interview for Shape.com, Ariel shared that she now avoids looking at the comments on her Instagram posts because it affects her mental health.

“I’ve faced body shaming and cyberbullies for about seven or eight years now that I’ve been in the spotlight,” she told the publication. “At 11 years old, I started working on the show and I was super flat and had no curves and was getting hate for that. Then overnight, my body changed, and I was this curvy woman. I didn’t know how to navigate that and got so much hate for it. It was really hurtful, and I struggled a lot.

“But now I’m at the point where I’ve stopped reading Instagram comments. I do what I want, I post what I want, and I say what I want. I don’t focus on pleasing anyone else but myself.”

Ariel went on to explain that at times in her career she has attempted to “crash diet” in order to lose weight. Yet, restricting meals has never worked for her and only led to “a lot of depression and anxiety”.

And the star can’t understand why some people struggle to accept that she’s body positive even though she’s had cosmetic surgery.

“I think it’s ridiculous that (because I had breast reduction surgery in 2015) or because someone is losing weight that they don’t love their body. People should be able to love their bodies at all stages, whatever their body looks like,” the 21-year-old mused.

Ariel Winter felt like a new person after she dyed her hair red.

The Modern Family actress often likes to experiment with her hair colour, and debuted her new copper locks on social media in May, with her caption referring to Ariel, the lead character in 1989 Disney animation The Little Mermaid.

In a new interview with People, the 21-year-old gushed that her experiment with red hair had been a complete success.

“It makes me feel like a new me,” she shared. “After I got it done, I was looking in the mirror and I felt like a completely different person. I was pretty shocked that my hair colour could make me look so different and a lot of people will not recognise me. They don’t piece it together because the hair looks so different for them, but I like it a lot.”

Ariel is best known for having the jet-black hair she sports as her character Alex Dunphy in the long-running sitcom, but she is actually a natural blonde.

“People never guess, but my natural hair colour is dirty blonde,” the star revealed. “I’ve always had dark eyebrows, so I was that person. I have dirty blonde hair and really dark eyebrows and dark eyes. I’ve dyed it so many times in the past so really the most important thing for me with my hair now is trying to keep my hair healthy.”

The actress has to keep her hair the same when she’s shooting the show, so she waits until filming is completed for each season to experiment with her tresses.

“I’m pretty adventurous with my hair, I’ll try a lot of things,” she added. “Alex doesn’t change up her look that much. I don’t experiment with it (on the show) so it’s fun for me to do it outside of work.”

Ariel has partnered with Ulta Beauty to promote the company’s new signature in-store blow-out services.

Sarah Hyland has responded to fans comparing photos of her and Emily Ratajkowski in similar dresses.

The Modern Family actress took to Instagram on Monday to post a side-by-side snap of herself in a black dress with cutout detailing which was taken over a decade ago, and a picture of the actress/model sporting a near identical version made by Michael Kors to the 2019 Tony Awards.

“The sisterhood of the travelling Tony dress. Spotted on Sarah Hyland in 2007. @emrata Spotted in 2019 wearing it 100000 per cent BETTER,” she captioned the snap.

While Sarah meant for the post to be playful, a number of Instagram users began making comparisons between the two women, and she was later forced to add to her caption.

“I can’t believe I’m editing this. I’m NOT comparing. This is supposed to be a funny post. PLEASE do NOT say anything rude about ‘who looks better’ It’s not even the same dress,” the 28-year-old wrote.

Accordingly, a number of the star’s followers showed support for her statement, with one user writing, “Welcome to 2019 where we have to explain our jokes. Ohhh what a time to be alive,” and another commenting, “You just both look amazing #womensupportingwomen.”

A third added: “You both look gorgeous!”

In addition, Emily also caught wind of the post and noted in the comments section: “You look amazing,” along with a string of red heart emojis.

This is not the first time Sarah has had to defend an Instagram post. Last year, she was accused of appearing too thin in a bikini selfie by several trolls, and later took to her Instagram Stories to highlight how she abides by a healthy diet and actually eats a lot of carbs.

“I’ve been reading some of your DMs (direct messages) and so many of you are like, ‘Girl, you fine but like, eat some bread!’ So I would like to put in a request for anyone who is concerned about my bread consumption to send to (boyfriend) Wells Adams, because he is the sole person who knows about how much bread I consume on a daily basis. Thanks!” she insisted.

Sofia Vergara is adamant two readily available products are the secret to clear skin.

The Modern Family actress and fashion entrepreneur always pulls out all the stops whenever she steps out onto the red carpet, with people around the world constantly curious about her skincare regime.

But now, Sofia has divulged that she is a big fan of using drug store favourite Cetaphil’s cleanser and eye make-up remover to keep her complexion flawless.

“I try different ones all the time, because people recommend me stuff, especially in this business. But the basic stuff works best for me,” she told Who What Wear, before adding that she likes Supergoop!’s sunscreen products. “For sunscreen, I’m using Supergoop! and it’s been really good. I also use a calming serum – that’s my go-to.”

Sofia went on to explain that she now abides by a very simple routine, as her skin has suffered from years of wearing heavy make-up for TV appearances. She also has rosacea, a long-term skin condition that typically affects the face and can result in redness, pimples, swelling, and small and superficial dilated blood vessels.

“I’m going to be 47 this July, and, unfortunately, because of the high-heat lamps on sets (and I live on a set), I’ve developed rosacea. I’ve been struggling with that for six or seven years. It’s hard because I get really red, so I’ve realised that I’ve had to treat my skin like sensitive skin, where I didn’t before. I used to love products and would try anything. You name it-you tell me to put cement under my eyes, and I’d try it. But unfortunately, now all the fun is gone for me. I can’t really wear rich moisturisers or rich oils,” the star commented.

When it comes to cosmetics, Sofia uses Too Faced’s Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara.

Sofia Vergara is launching a line of “revolutionary” shapewear for women.

The Modern Family actress joined forces with entrepreneur Renata Black in late 2017 to unveil subscription underwear service EBY, with 10 per cent of the proceeds from sales going to the Seven Bar Foundation, which provides small loans to women around the world to help them start their own business.

Now, Sofia is expanding the brand’s offerings to include Comfort Shape shapewear garments, with the range currently featuring a brief and thong silhouette.

“Excited to officially announce my launch of Comfort Shape with @joineby,” she captioned a snap of the designs on her Instagram page. “We’ve heard from so many women that they want to be shaped and supported, but also feel comfortable. So we listened and I’m so excited to finally share with you the launch of Comfort Shape – revolutionising shapewear.”

Aligning with EBY’s size-inclusive strategy, the undergarments are available in a wide range of sizes. Pieces are currently only available in a nude colour, though black versions will be introduced soon.

Regarding the concept, Sofia also shared in an interview with People.com that she and Renata worked on the product for nine months and did over 30 fit tests until they settled on the perfect cut and fabric.

“It’s super comfortable. You don’t feel like you’re in a girdle or anything like that… It holds everything in without making you feel like you want to throw up!” the 46-year-old insisted. “Underwear is something that really makes you or not in an outfit. If you have the wrong underwear, it can really damage the look. So, I will always really appreciate a good underwear.”

A monthly subscription box with one pair of underwear costs $16 (£13), while the three-pair box is $45 (£36) every three months.

Ariel Winter is defending changes in her body once again after a fan accused the Modern Family star of undergoing plastic surgery.

An Instagram user commented on a photo of the actress, suggesting it was “obvious” she had gone under the knife over the weekend (11-12May19).

“How many surgeries have you had on your body and face now?” the critic wrote, adding: “Two breast reductions, that’s obvious, cheek bone and chin shaving and lip fillers. Pretty obvious, she looks so different.”

Winter took issue with the remarks and attempted to set the record straight, referencing a previous statement regarding her recent weight loss.

“I wasn’t going to reply but I HAVE to ask… what the f**k is cheek bone and chin shaving????” she replied. “You’re also wrong about all of it by the way one breast reduction and I lost weight but you do you boo.”

In January (19), the 21 year old felt the need to defend her trimmer figure after a fan asked why she was “so thin”.

Winter explained: “For years I had been on antidepressants that caused me to gain weight that I couldn’t lose no matter what I did,” she explained. “It was always frustrating for me because I wanted to be able to get fit and feel like the work I was doing was paying off, but it never felt that way. I had accepted it and moved on.”

Ariel revealed she was hesitant about the process of switching medications until last year (18), when she took the plunge.

“The change in medication instantly made me drop all of the weight I couldn’t lose before by just giving me back a metabolism,” she shared. “That was very unexpected.”

Sarah Hyland used to shun skincare advice because she didn’t think it was necessary.

The Modern Family star made the comments during an interview for People magazine, and confessed that she only started caring for her skin and paying attention to what she put into her body in recent years.

“I never really paid attention to skincare at all,” the 28-year old revealed. “I didn’t think that it was necessary because it wasn’t at that time. But as I got older, you start to be like, ‘Oh, I should probably be taking care of myself more and eating more greens than fast food and using moisturisers instead of not and really investing in myself’.”

The star has tackled her fair share of health problems, and has spoken publicly about her endometriosis struggle and her kidney dysplasia, a condition in which the organs do not form properly while in the womb, diagnosis.

Speaking with the publication, the actress reflected that she uses workouts and exercise to help maintain control in her life, and claimed that focusing on her physical health has helped her to boost her overall mental and emotional wellbeing.

“It really is this balance of mental, emotional and physical reality,” she shared. “So if you’re feeling mentally and emotionally drained, or if you are in a very dark space, you have to pull the string on the other side to lift you up out of that. (Working out) helps a lot.”
