Olivia Culpo’s skincare expert warned her to cut back on exfoliating after she started getting breakouts.

The model/actress shot to fame after winning the Miss Universe pageant in 2012 and dating Nick Jonas.

Olivia has now shared that she suffers from the same skin issues as anyone else and has altered her nighttime regime accordingly.

“I use Dr. Barbara Sturm’s Enzyme Cleanser, which is my favourite. It really exfoliates the skin through natural fruit enzymes,” she said in an episode of Go To Bed With Me for Harpersbazaar.com. “And Dr. Sturm recommended this for me because I was getting these breakouts, it’s so funny, on one side of my cheek. I told her that I was using all of these products with beads and I was trying to exfoliate every single day and she recommended this product because she noticed I was actually over-exfoliating. So be careful for that!”

Olivia went on to explain that she ensures to remove all of her cosmetics each night by dipping Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes in coconut oil. When necessary, such as after a long flight, she will sometimes use exfoliating peel pads from Sanitas or Dr. Dennis Gross, and is a big fan of using La Mer’s The Renewal Oil when her complexion is dehydrated.

“I find that when I’m breaking out, contrary to popular belief it’s not because my skin is super oily, it’s actually because my skin is really dehydrated,” the 27-year-old said, before demonstrating how she applies a few drops to her face. “So, my pores are acting up and they’re not cooperating with life, airplanes, and lack of sleep.”

In addition, Olivia uses Nurse Jamie’s NuVibe RX Amethyst Massaging Beauty Tool and Skin Design London’s Designer Balm, and encourages fans to try out a body serum such as Mimi Luzon’s Satin Skin Body Serum.

“You put so many serums and peels on our face, we should probably start considering that on our body too. I use this all over my body. I love it because it absorbs so well,” she smiled.

Jesse Metcalfe has a habit of stealing his fiancee Cara Santana’s luxury eye cream.

The celebrity couple, who became engaged in August 2016 and are currently planning their wedding, have appeared in the latest episode of Harper’s Bazaar’s Go To Bed With Me video series.

In the clip, Jesse and Cara each breakdown their evening skincare regimes for fans, with the Desperate Housewives star sharing that he loves to use La Mer’s The Eye Concentrate cream from his partner’s beauty stash.

“I enjoy stealing this eye cream. Obviously, it’s La Mer, everyone knows the name La Mer, and as I’m getting older, I really need to combat these wrinkles and bags under my eyes,” he said of the product, which is priced at $215 (£160) for a 15ml container.

Elsewhere in the clip, Cara explained that she removes her make-up with Neutrogena wipes, and washes her face with Dr. Barbara Sturm’s cleanser. Jesse also uses the wipes, but for an entirely different reason.

“You know I steal those right?” the 40-year-old laughed. “I clean my sneakers with those. Those are sneaker wipes. Gotta keep my sneaks fresh!”

Cara, 34, is a fan of using Nurse Jamie’s Beauty Roller on her face too, as she finds it helps increase blood flow and tighten the skin, and she’s not afraid to use it on Jesse’s complexion as well.

Her other go-to formulas include AMOREPACIFIC’s Time Response Skin Renewal Serum, AMOREPACIFIC’s Hydration Mist, and Dior’s Capture Youth Advanced Creme, while she swears by using hair oils on the ends of her long brunette tresses.

“I always like to put some dry oil on my ends. I’m obsessing over both Glamsquad and OUAI’s hair oil,” she smiled.

Khloe Kardashian swears a drugstore cream is the key to tackling blemishes.

The new mother, who welcomed daughter True with boyfriend Tristan Thompson last April (18), always steps out with a flawless complexion whenever attending red carpet events.

However, Khloe has now shared that her number one hack for getting rid of blemishes and acne fast is to use an easily accessible ointment.

“I do know if you have a breakout that’s red, cortisone cream – it reduces the redness,” she said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the recent launch of her BECCA Cosmetics collaboration with her friend Malika Haqq in Los Angeles. “I’ve done that a couple times when I needed to, but honestly there’s nothing like some water and some sleep.”

Even though Khloe’s life has become a lot more hectic since the arrival of baby True, she still tries to indulge in the occasional beauty treatment or exercise session. But she confessed that she will never be tempted to try a form of yoga ever again.

“Well, I did goat yoga with Kevin Hart and I don’t know if that’s a beauty treatment ’cause it wasn’t relaxing whatsoever,” the 34-year-old sighed. “It was like a fad. I don’t know if it still is. And you basically are doing yoga and goats walk all over you and it was so cute for about fifteen seconds and they all started peeing and pooping and it was just not fun.”

Meanwhile, Khloe recently opened up about some of her go-to beauty products. In a post on her app, she shared that she always has her bathroom stocked with Neutrogena’s Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes and Neutrogena’s Extra Gentle Eye Make-up Remover Pads to make taking off her cosmetics before bed a piece of cake.

“I love to get glam, but it can be such a b**ch to take off all that make-up, LOL (laugh out loud),” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star noted. “To get my skin clean, first I wash my face (of course), then use two Neutrogena towelettes to remove any left-over product, including one that’s just for eyes since eyeliner and mascara can be so tricky. Both are under $10 (£7.50) and available at any drugstore.”

Kerry Washington swears daily fish oil supplements are the secret to great skin.

The Scandal actress always looks stunning when she steps out onto the red carpet, with her flawless complexion the envy of women around the world.

However, Kerry has had her struggles with eczema over the years and has now shared that she is certain one natural product is the key to keeping the skin condition in check.

“(I take) daily fish oil supplements, because omega fatty acids work. And I’d never, ever skip moisturiser – no way – it’s too critical,” the star told Glamour.com, adding that she tries her best to keep hydrated too. “I believe drinking a tonne of water is vital to health and wellness. It’s so important to have hydration on the inside, but also finding products that can really lock in moisture on the outside.”

As a brand ambassador for American cosmetics and skincare brand Neutrogena, Kerry has access to all the latest beauty products. At the moment, she’s “obsessed” with Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Hydrating Serum, as well as the company’s Anti-Residue Shampoo.

“I use (a clarifying shampoo) once a month, because I rely on so much conditioner and leave-in products that, if I don’t hit the reset button occasionally, my hair can get weighed down,” the 41-year-old explained. “Neutrogena has a good one; it’s not too overdrying, which I think is important for curly hair.”

Kerry also recently teamed with Neutrogena on a limited-edition palette of eyeshadows, which featured powders in neutral tones, such as Brilliant, a soft gold shimmer, and Powerful, a chocolate brown.

And the brunette beauty hopes beauty fans feel like they can really use the colours in a multitude of ways.

“To me, you can open the palette, and no matter where you are, what you’re doing, or where you’re going, you can give yourself a pop of glam and freshness – that added sense of easy beauty. That’s why the kit is essential,” she smiled.

Actress Kerry Washington hopes her new make-up line with Neutrogena will help women express their personal traits.

The Scandal star worked with the cosmetics company to develop the Essential Eye and Cheek palettes and set out to personalise the items in the collection. She helped chose meaningful names for each of the items – including Captivating, Confident and Grateful – and explained she was inspired by her own beliefs on beauty and self-empowerment when crafting the palettes.

“Beauty – for me – is not just about how we look, it really is about who we are,” the 41-year-old actress told People Style. “So I wanted the names in both palettes to reflect who we are on the inside, the qualities that make us shine bright. Because, our make-up should do that. It should reveal those inner qualities.”

Washington also wanted to simplify women’s beauty routines with the Essential palette.

“Beauty doesn’t have to be complicated,” she shared. “It should feel like a bit of luxury in your life, but it shouldn’t be hard. That’s where the idea of the Essential palettes comes from: It’s something that you can put in your purse and know that you’ve got what you need.”

The mother-of-two has enjoyed the process of collaborating on the new line and working with creators at Neutrogena since she linked with the brand in 2013.

She explained: “I love being an ambassador for the company, but I really love being a creative consultant because I get to interact with our product from beginning to end and I get to meet everybody along the way who makes the product a success.”

The products developed by Washington will hit retailers on 22 April (18).
