Ariana Grande has gone all out for Halloween this year, relying on prosthetics and a team of experts to transform her into a pig-faced character from The Twilight Zone.

The 26-year-old has been teasing fans all week with hints about her costume for the spooky holiday, admitting the TV show was “one of my faves”, and sharing screenshots from the iconic Eye of the Beholder episode.

And on Wednesday, Ariana revealed her final costume, sharing two snaps on Instagram showing the incredible detail that went into creating the look.

In the first, she is seen staring at the camera, with a prosthetic pig nose and downturned mouth covering her own dainty features. Holding a cigarette, the Thank U, Next singer also sports her trademark high ponytail, diamond earrings, and elbow-length gloves.

The next snap is a full-length picture of Ariana, who wears a black dress, opaque tights, and a fur stole for the final look.

“Final procedure was a success,” the star captioned the image.

The Eye of the Beholder episode sees a young woman called Janet Tyler go through a series of surgeries to make her look like everyone else. When her bandages are removed at the end of the episode, viewers see her “normal” pretty face, before the doctors announce the procedure had failed – and come out of the shadows to reveal their own disfigured pig noses and twisted mouths.

Ariana’s look was brought together by her glam team Josh Liu, Daniel Chinchilla, and Julie Hassett, with the latter taking to Instagram to praise prosthetics expert Kevin Haney for creating the facepiece.

“I couldn’t have participated in this without the insane work of @haney7560 who made this prosthetic piece in one day. Like…sculpted, moulded and ran it in ONE DAY. He’s incredible. THANK YOU, KEVIN! And thank you for the referral @thejoshliu! Love ya! Such a team effort! Thanks for having me on board @arianagrande,” Julie wrote.

Ariana Grande was inspired to design a perfume bottle in the shape of a broken heart to reflect the message of her break-up anthem Thank U, Next.

The 7 Rings hitmaker has partnered with LUXE Brands bosses to launch THANK U, NEXT, the fourth in her line of fragrances which also includes Ari, Sweet Like Candy, and Cloud.

The new perfume bottle is surrounded by a pink broken heart, and Ariana explained that its design was inspired by the empowering message of her 2018 track.

“I wanted to make a fragrance that smells related to my first fragrance Ari but more summery, so I revisited Ari’s fruity pear and raspberry notes and changed it up by adding some coconut,” Ariana said in a statement. “I was inspired to design a bottle that represented the message of my song, Thank U, Next – the emergence of the perfume from the broken heart represents moving forward from a challenging chapter.”

“Ariana’s creative vision for THANK U, NEXT perfectly communicates the combination of sexiness and sweetness, while cleverly conveying the details of Ariana’s latest fragrance in a fresh, modern way that is both authentic to Ari and unique to the category,” added Noreen Dodge, Chief Marketing Officer of LUXE Brands.

Thank U, Next was a tribute to her ex-boyfriends, and included lyrics about the 26-year-old former fiance Pete Davidson, ex Big Sean and the late Mac Miller, who died in September last year.

Crafted by Robertet’s Jerome Epinette, the perfumer and artisan behind Byredo and Atelier Cologne, the new scent features notes of white pear and wild raspberry, creme de coconut, rose petals, and velvet musk.

Ariana’s perfume Cloud recently won the Fragrance of the Year award in the Women’s Popular category at the Fragrance Foundation awards, beating hugely popular scents from Britney Spears and Kim Kardashian.

The new fragrance will be released exclusively for online shoppers on Ulta.com from 18 August, two weeks before it hits Ulta Beauty stores in the U.S. and Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada. Prices start at $42 (£35).

Ariana Grande has opened up about her struggles with mental health and admitted to fans she’s still in the process of healing after going through a difficult period in her life.

The Thank U, Next hitmaker was struck by tragedy last year (18) when her former boyfriend Mac Miller died after an accidental overdose in September, and she split from her then-fiance Pete Davidson a month later in October.

Despite the star’s best efforts to move on from the heartbreak, she took to Instagram Stories on Thursday (04Apr19) to confess to fans that she still finds the experience tough.

“healing is hard work. accept da ups and downs. be gentle with yourself and surround yourself with gentle energy. you’re not alone. (sic),” the 25-year-old posted.

The post was one in a string of reflective moments for the 7 Rings songstress, and came hours after she had taken to the platform to thank fans for their continued support through her personal turmoil.

“U make everything better. thank you for your energy. truly. I love y’all, so much,” the star gushed. “u have no idea how much y’all help me / how happy u make me. sharing a state / this life with y’all is so beautiful.

The pop star went on to suggest that it was the support of those around her that gave her the strength to carry on and encouraged her to continue to pursue her ambitions.

“thank u so much for being here. and for reminding me why i am too! (sic),” she wrote.
