Nina Dobrev is desperate to cut her hair short again because it’s so low maintenance.

The Vampire Diaries star first rocked a short bob with a blunt fringe back in 2017 and has been growing out the style ever since. However, she’s now grown bored of her long brunette locks and wants to go for the chop once again.

“When I had short hair I was like ‘ugh, I miss my long hair’ and I wanted it to grow long. Now that it’s finally growing long I’m excited but I look at photos of when I had short hair and I want to cut it again,” Nina told Harper’s Bazaar, adding that she gets bored easily.

The 30-year-old actress wants an easier ‘do to manage and her shorter locks suited her low-key lifestyle.

“I did really like my short hair because it was easy. I like to be grab and go and be quick and not fuss around too much and go through a whole process. When I had short hair I could just shower and walk out and it would dry and do its own thing,” she shared. “Short hair does feel more like me.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Nina opened up about her use of social media, and confessed that while she uses filters on her photos on Instagram, she tries to offset that by posting real-life snaps and videos to prove she’s a “normal human”.

“I have good days and bad days and breakouts and don’t wear make-up all the time. It’s important that you feel beautiful and confident on your own without all that extra stuff. It’s important for me to showcase that side of me on social media as well as the glam side,” she explained.

Nina Dobrev is Dior Beauty’s latest muse.

The self-confessed beauty junkie is a huge fan of the luxe brand, and joins the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Cara Delevingne, Marion Cotillard, and Charlize Theron in serving as a brand ambassador for the French fashion house’s perfume, cosmetics, and skincare lines.

Dobrev remembers seeing Dior campaigns as she travelled around Europe with her family when she was younger and told Harper’s Bazaar magazine it was a dream come true to be working with the iconic label.

“I always looked up to Dior. It felt so timeless and classy and elegant in every way. I think the Miss Dior scent is what I always associated with that grace and timelessness. That was probably the first product I recognised, purchased, and aspired to as a little girl,” she shared.

The Vampire Diaries star has been a superfan of Dior Beauty for years, and while she tries not to wear make-up every day, her go-to products are exclusively from the French brand.

“The Forever Foundation is really great. I travel a lot and my hormones are constantly changing. I can have little breakouts,” the 30-year-old explained. “I really like it because it covers the breakouts but it doesn’t feel cakey. You feel covered but you don’t feel suffocated with make-up. It looks natural and clean and fresh and glowy and I really enjoy it.”

Rouge Dior’s Ultra Care lipstick is another firm favourite of Dobrev’s, and she uses Dior Capture Totale C.E.L.L. Energy Super Potent Serum at night after cleansing.

“The most important thing is just to wash your make-up off every night before you go to bed. Which kind of sucks sometimes,” she laughed.

Nina Dobrev has dressed up as the Chanel runway show prankster for Halloween.

French YouTube star Marie Benoliel, known as Marie S’Infiltre, crashed the fashion house’s spring/summer 2020 during Paris Fashion Week at the start of October and was eventually escorted off the runway by an unimpressed Gigi Hadid.

And on Monday, The Vampire Diaries actress teamed up with her pal, writer and producer Lane Cheek, to recreate the headline-grabbing moment for the spooky holiday, with the pair showing off their efforts on Instagram.

Like the prankster, the 30-year-old wore a black and white houndstooth tweed skirt suit with a black blouse underneath and a black hat, while Cheek channelled Hadid by sporting a dirty blonde wig, a navy top and black hot pants over sheer black tights.

They also recreated some of the photos taken from the incident and posted them alongside the real ones, with Dobrev adopting a shocked look as Cheek places one hand on her shoulder.

“‘They said I couldn’t pull off the impossible but look at me now! The most prestigious catwalk in the world.’ – Marie @gigihadid @mariesinfiltre,” Dobrev wrote in the caption.

Benoliel appeared to be flattered by the costume as she shared one of Dobrev’s photos on her own Instagram page and wrote in the caption, “Best Halloween costume by @nina.”

Dobrev also received praise from her fellow actresses in the comments, with Kaley Cuoco writing, “Your costumes are epic!”, Claire Holt posting, “You’re so good at this it’s a gift”, and Rebecca Rittenhouse commenting, “Your costumes are so relevant.”

On Friday, Dobrev had dressed up as Bad Guy singer Billie Eilish by wearing a baggy orange Louis Vuitton jumper and matching shorts, bulky jewellery, long green nails and spraying green dye in her roots. She also evoked the teen singer’s When the Party’s Over video by having her face painted to make it look like she had been crying black tears.

Louis Vuitton helped close Fashion Month with an eccentric line filled with ’80s-inspired pieces for fall/winter 2019.

The French luxury fashion house, helmed by creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere, was one of the last presentations at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday night (05Mar19) at the Musee du Louvre, with the show attracting celebrities such as Alicia Vikander, Emma Stone, Jaden Smith and his sister Willow Smith, Justin Theroux, Nina Dobrev, and Chloe Grace Moretz.

However, Ghesquiere shocked guests with the interior of the venue, transforming the inside of the Louvre to resemble another Paris museum, the Centre Pompidou, which is known for its colourful structure and exposed plumbing. In his show notes, the designer explained that he was inspired by the building and the diverse neighbourhood of the surrounding Beaubourg area.

“The cliques, the styles, the life… I love that impression of a sartorial melting pot,” he shared.

To kick off the show, a model walked the runway in a black and white tweed skirt which was paired with a top featuring silver detailing and a diagonal frill, with the look accessorised with black tights, flat yellow boots, and a black leather skullcap.

Offering up a post-modern pastiche in the clothes, Ghesquiere referenced the prom dresses and bold shoulders of the 1980s, while contrasting floral and leather pieces that harked back to the New Romantic movement of the late ’70s, with the whole collection also touching upon the geometric work of artist Piet Mondrian.

Highlights of the line included a dress with frilled sleeves which featured a swirling pink and blue print, a light blue dress which was embellished with silver sequin stars, an emerald green slip dress with black lace on the hem, and a corseted black satin dress worn over a red lace shirt.

To conclude, Ghesquiere unveiled a black dress with dotty silver print which was paired with black tights and creeper shoes, as well as an edgy black leather jacket and trouser ensemble which was completed with silver and gold zipper detailing.

Paris Jackson has dyed her hair a warm watermelon pink shade.

The Gringo actress is quickly building up a reputation for her bohemian-inspired personal style and often changes her hair colour, having previously rocked platinum blonde and peach tints.

Now, Paris has visited celebrity hairstylist Riawna Capri at Nine Zero One Salon in Los Angeles and opted for a much more dramatic red shade with some rose gold highlights.

“@ParisJackson rockin’ a new hue for Summer: #WatermelonShine #lovethischick #901girl #ninezeroone #cutcolorstyle #mereecapri,” the hair expert wrote alongside a photo of Paris posing in front of a concrete wall.

Paris, the only daughter of late music icon Michael Jackson, often drops by Nine Zero One when she’s in need of some fresh colour and visited the salon in April (18) for peach toned highlights and had her hair styled into beachy waves.

“This is not a filter, this is #PeachyParis looking like a Bali Sunrise#lovethisgirl @ParisJackson#CutColorStyle,” Riawna captioned a snap of Paris at the time.

Riawna has a number of celebrity clients and recently worked with Ruby Rose, Ashlee Simpson and Nina Dobrev.

In addition, she also transformed Julianne Hough’s ruby red strands back to her signature blonde colour last month.

Taking to social media, the hair colourist described the Dancing with the Stars judge’s new blonde as a “honeysuckle” shade and stated that she relied on Joico’s Colour Intensity Eraser to get the perfect look.

“Red to Blonde is an all-day affair, breakfast and lunch and hopefully not dinner. When you do a colour correction like this, focus on your client, book out the day for her. When you have time on your side, everything else is a breeze. 7 hours of great conversation and lots of laughs, Kinda makes me want to do colour corrections more!!! (SIKE!),” she commented.

Make-up artist Allan Avendano was in charge of the High School Musical star’s beauty look and chose to give her dewy skin and a swipe of pink eyeshadow on her lids. He used several colours from Pat McGrath Labs’ Mthership Subversive La Vie En Rose Palette to create the pretty effect.

While hairstylist Chad Wood curled her hair into gentle waves, describing the style in an Instagram post as “soft and expensive”.
