Chrissy Teigen has teamed up with eyewear brand Quay Australia to promote a range of sunglasses and blue light glasses.

The model and TV personality has partnered with executives at the brand on QUAY X CHRISSY, a collection comprised of the company’s best-selling frames in all-new, muted retro tones. The range features chic, oversized sunglasses as well as glasses fitted with lenses boasting Blue Light Technology, which help block harmful light from digital screens that may cause symptoms like headaches, blurry vision, and loss of sleep.

“I’ve come across Quay a number of times over the years through friends, so when the opportunity to partner came up, it felt right. I love that they offer something so special that’s accessible to everyone – the product is beautiful, and the price point is inclusive,” said Chrissy, a big fan of Twitter, in a statement. “The blue light collection was such a natural alignment since I’m clearly spending a lot of time looking at screens.”

As part of the partnership, Chrissy will also serve as the face of the brand’s new global Education is Quay campaign, in which winners will be granted a $10,000 (£8,000) scholarship each to use towards their university education.

Chrissy will help select the 10 winners from students who submit an application detailing what self-expression means to them, and the 33-year-old said she was excited to be part of the initiative.

“The scholarship component of the campaign is what brought it all together for me. The opportunity to give back and fund someone’s dream is such a special privilege, and I’m thrilled to be a part of that,” she continued.

The collection ranges in price from $50 to $60 (£41 to £49) and is available to buy on the Quay Australia website.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are celebrating their engagement news by headlining a sexy new sunglasses campaign.

The stars, who announced they’re planning to wed earlier this month (Mar19), appear alongside one another in a series of sultry ads for Quay Australia’s latest eyewear collection.

In the stylish images, the 49 year old and the former sportsman, pose seductively, while wearing the brand’s classic sunglasses.

“It’s always easy when we get to do things together,” Lopez tells People of the collaboration. “We always wind up laughing out loud.”

Among the items the loved-up stars are promoting are glasses they inspired – the Quay x JLo and Quay x ARod – as well as the Get Right shield style, named after the Latina beauty’s hit 2005 track.

“It was very organic,” the singer and actress says of working on the campaign. “We wanted to bring our confidence and strong sense of self-expression to the brand. It was a lot of fun to do.”

The shoot took place in Miami, Florida – one of Lopez’s favourite cities, where she and Rodriguez often spent time.

“I’ve had a love affair with Miami for many years, and now it’s our city – it’s our second home,” she tells the publication.

And being a part of the new Quay Australia line allowed Jennifer to share her passion for sunglasses.

“Sunglasses are the one thing you can wear to the gym or for a night out, and they give you an instant cool factor,” she says.

Rodriguez also shares a love for the accessories, noting they allow him to express his mood.

“All of the sunglasses in the line fit a different mood and a different vibe,” he shares. “I can match them up with anything, whether I’m wearing jeans or a suit or a tux. Quay has something for everyone and every occasion – and its affordable.”
