Lucky Blue Smith has hit back at online critics who have accused him of spending little time with his daughter.

The model and his girlfriend Stormi Bree welcomed daughter Gravity Blue Smith in 2017, though the couple later parted ways.

In an Instagram post uploaded over the weekend, Smith took the opportunity to blast trolls who have claimed he isn’t fulfilling his co-parenting duties.

“I hate making posts like this, but I am beyond tired of seeing comments about me not being with my daughter. Just because I don’t blast my daughter on social media to the world does NOT mean I’m not with her,” the 21-year-old wrote. “Let’s get this straight so anyone who’s wondering or has ever wondered, I have 50 per cent legal AND physical custody of Gravity. When I travel for work, I make up the days that I have missed, as does her mother.”

Smith went on to note that social media platforms can be “extremely deceiving” and insisted that he won’t be posting pictures of his two-year-old any time soon.

“Social media can be extremely deceiving, so before you make assumptions KNOW your facts, and this goes for everyone not just me, you have no clue what people are actually dealing with and fighting for behind the scenes, so please don’t automatically assume something is happening the way it seems just because you see it on social media,” he concluded.

Bree has not yet responded to Smith’s post. However, the Utah native received plenty of support from his celebrity pals, including Rachel Zoe and Maye Musk, while Paris Jackson commented, “I’m so sick of people acting as though they know the people they follow so well, literally based off of social media posts. As if that’s enough to know someone. People forget that private lives exist. S**t like this p**ses me off so much. Keep your head up man.”

Christy Turlington has been tapped to appear opposite Marc Jacobs in the fall 2019 campaign for his high-end clothing brand.

In recent years, the supermodel has taken a step away from the fashion world to focus on her family and charity projects, but she came out of retirement to close Jacobs’s fall/winter 2019 show held during New York Fashion Week in February.

Following the runway show, Turlington posed with Jacobs for photographer Steven Meisel, and the designer has now used those black-and-white images for his new marketing imagery.

“My friendship with Christy began in 1987. Over these past decades she has always shown up for me. Always. After closing our RUNWAY FALL 2019 MARC JACOBS show, Christy agreed to be photographed for our campaign,” he wrote on his Instagram page alongside a snap of Turlington standing in a ballgown while he reclines on the ground. “The results are stunning and the day in the studio with her, Steven and the crew was a day I will always cherish. It is a great gift to continue to create new memories with her.”

Katie Grand styled the photoshoot, while Pat McGrath was in charge of make-up and Guido Palau did the hair. Another image posted online shows Turlington and Jacobs standing side-by-side, which the 56-year-old captioned: “Christy and me by Steven. What more could I dream of?”

And Turlington, 50, appeared to be pleased with the results too, as she uploaded two of the photos to her Instagram page and commented, “Anything for Marc, always…So excited to see the first of these images taken by #stevenmeisel with @themarcjacobs.”

A number of the mother-of-two’s celebrity pals praised the photos as well, with Rachel Zoe, Eva Herzigova, Niki Taylor, Naomi Campbell, and Anna Sui all leaving messages in the comments section.

Paris, who is a partner and investor in the app, was dressed to the nines for the party at the Cleo Hollywood restaurant on Wednesday, and stunned in a floor-length, halterneck silver shimmering gown with a cutout front, complete with matching heels, silver jewellery, and diamond earrings.

The 38-year-old heiress and DJ was joined by longtime family friend Kris Jenner, who walked the red carpet wearing a plum-coloured two-piece suit, with a nude bodysuit underneath.

Paris’s mother Kathy Hilton and her aunt, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, also attended, along with fellow RHOBH personality Faye Resnick.

Kathy, 60, posed with her daughter in a pink and green floral dress, while Kyle matched Paris in her chic long-sleeved silver mini dress.

Celebrity stylist and designer Rachel Zoe rocked a biker chick look while posing alongside her husband Rodger Berman, while actress and author Rachel McCord wore a cheeky orange crop top with matching skirt.

In a recent post on Instagram, hairstylist and make-up artist Joey revealed that the app will offer a new “VVIP” category, which will give customers access to a celebrity stylist.

“I founded The Glam App because, just like Paris, I am passionate about using my position and experience to create opportunities for others,” he wrote.

Marc Jacobs has married his fiancee, Charly Defrancesco.

The 55-year-old fashion designer tied the knot to his longtime love, who he affectionately calls Char, in an intimate ceremony in New York City on Saturday (06Apr19).

The couple, who wed just one day after Defrancesco’s birthday, partied the night away with a star-studded reception at glitzy midtown restaurant, Grill Room.

Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, fashion editor Katie Grand and singer Rita Ora were among the guests. Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe was also at the bash, and she later shared videos from the party, which featured a cabaret-style performance from a group of dancers.

Jacobs and Defrancesco wore matching diamond and onyx penguin pins on their big day day, a sweet gift from Prada and Miu Miu design director Fabio Zambernardi.

“Penguins have only one partner and mate for life. A great example of faithfulness and fidelity. So grateful to you and love you so much dear Fabio,” Jacobs explained on Instagram, alongside a snap of him wearing the pin on the trousers of his tux.

The couple got engaged one year ago when the fashion designer surprised his model beau by popping the question during a dinner date at a Chipotle restaurant on Defrancesco’s birthday.

Before proposing, Jacobs organised a flash mob performance set to Prince’s 1986 hit Kiss, then got down on one knee.

The designer explained that the pair, who both have April birthdays, always celebrate at the Mexican fast food outlet, and told WWD, “It’s his (Defrancesco’s) favourite restaurant. We have an annual (tradition). Every year for my birthday we go to Chipotle.”

Rebecca Minkoff is extending the visibility of her female-only entrepreneurs network with an America-wide rollout.

Designer Minkoff came up with the idea of the Female Founders Collective (FFC) after realising there was no easy way to find female-founded companies.

“It proved to me that a symbol or a seal for consumers to recognise would be key for us to find ways to support and give our money to female founders,” she said, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

After launching during New York Fashion Week in September (18), a campaign was unveiled in Los Angeles in January, and now new FFC adverts are about to be launched in Chicago and Miami, as well as a second LA campaign.

The application-only network of female entrepreneurs features women from all walks of life; from fashion designers to chefs to coders.

“This is a way for consumers to vote with their wallets and for the collective of these women to help support each other and give each other resources and tools to bridge the gap that much faster,” Minkoff stated.

Emily Current and Meritt Elliott, of label The Great, became heavily involved in the FFC’s activities after first learning about the idea, and have enlisted the likes of Rachel Zoe and designer Anine Bing for the second LA campaign.

In Chicago, jewellery designer Dana Gordon gathered a group of high-profile women for a shoot in her showroom, while Ali Mejia and Mariela Rovito, the pair behind celebrity-loved underwear/sleepwear brand Eberjey, organised a shoot at their boutique featuring high-profile female entrepreneurs they know.

Tamara Mellon has also posed for the new FFC campaign.

“I’m excited to be part of the first national campaign effort of the Female Founder Collective,” she said on Facebook. “The FFC symbol denotes a female-founded company, and by displaying it proudly we show our support for women-owned businesses, giving us the power to close the economic divide more swiftly than ever before.”

Rachel Zoe is gearing up to make a return to reality TV with a new fashion competition series.

The designer and stylist, known for her boho-chic aesthetic and work with celebrities such as Nicole Richie, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Garner, and Kate Hudson, starred in her own Bravo show, The Rachel Zoe Project, for five seasons between 2008 and 2013.

Now, Zoe has announced that she has teamed with TV producer Mark Burnett and executives at MGM Television on a fresh project, which aims to find undiscovered designers.

“This is the show I have always wanted to make,” she said in a statement. “The show will spotlight some of the most talented designers from around the world, and I am thrilled to be able to highlight their work. I have the utmost respect for Mark Burnett and the team at MGM – this is my dream partnership.”

The TV show, which is currently untitled, will bring together an array of design talent from around the world. Competing designers will have to work on original creations, with part of the format seeing the items put up for sale online after each episode has aired.

Sean Kelly and Steve Hughes of Shaggy Entertainment came up with the concept, and will serve as executive producers alongside Zoe, Burnett, and Barry Poznick.

Regarding the concept, Burnett, chairman of MGM’s Worldwide Television Group, commented that he was thrilled to be collaborating with Zoe.

“I love fashion and have wanted to do a show in this space for quite some time. We are thrilled to have Rachel Zoe on board for this epic global fashion showdown that will bring trendsetting designs to your doorstep. Rachel is the epitome of style and fashion,” he shared.

Zoe’s new show comes after Project Runway has undergone a shake-up for season 17, with Karlie Kloss taking over as host from Heidi Klum and Christian Siriano succeeding Tim Gunn as a mentor. Klum and Gunn are currently working on a new fashion competition programme for Amazon Video.

Rachel Zoe has teamed up with Macy’s to create a limited-edition capsule line.

The Zoe by Rachel Zoe collection will drop on Wednesday (01Aug18) online and will go on to be sold in 152 Macy’s stores across the U.S. from 15 August. This is a career first for the designer, who has shared her excitement in presenting a more accessible clothing range aimed at a widespread clientele.

“This is a limited-edition capsule collection,” the 46-year-old said in an interview with WWD. “I’m incredibly excited to be able to reach more customers. It’s the first time I am doing a collaboration like this with Macy’s. One of the best things about Macy’s is that it specialises in affordable luxury and has a really good perspective on accessible fashion at more affordable prices.”

Zoe’s namesake Rachel Zoe collection is already sold by the retailer, but the new range can be purchased at a reduced price – which she hopes will extend its appeal.

Macy’s has described the line as offering “chic and glamorous looks for every occasion,” with costs ranging from $79 (£60) to $199 (£151).

“A staple of the Zoe by Rachel Zoe collection is the juxtaposition of feminine pieces with structured designs that offer women the freedom to mix up their everyday look,” store representatives stated.

“This is a very logical collaboration,” added Zoe. “It’s a good size collection with suiting, dresses, work looks and day-to-night looks. It’s very diverse with something for everyone.”

Her favourite items include metallic suiting, crisp shirts, as well as printed pieces and maxidresses.

The project marks the latest instalment in Macy’s guest designer series, with past collaborations including Karl Lagerfeld, Matthew Williamson and Giambattista Valli.

Tamara Mellon is adamant that brands have to be transparent about all practices.

The British designer co-founded footwear label Jimmy Choo in 1996 but departed in 2011 after the brand was acquired by Labelux. Mellon launched her own luxury brand two years later, and although she filed for bankruptcy in 2015, the company is now experiencing a revival.

Part of her strategy includes rejecting traditional product calendars and adopting a direct-to-consumer business model, initiatives she is certain will be critical for modern business.

“We’re living in an age now where there’s a huge culture shift and I think everybody is becoming much more transparent,” she said in a TV interview with CNBC at the Cannes Lions communications and advertising festival on Tuesday (18Jun18). “People want authentic stories, they don’t want things that are glossed over or that just look pretty on the outside. Brands today really cannot be silent anymore. We have to have an authentic voice.”

The topic of equal pay is also very important to Mellon. She noted that she didn’t get the same amount of sweat equity, or recognition for her effort or labour in projects, on three private equity deals she worked on at Jimmy Choo and is determined to build women up at her latest venture.

“My mistake back then was … not using my voice to speak up. I had a board that was all men – why would you do that at such a female brand?” the 50-year-old shared. “So now with my new brand Tamara Mellon, we’re really active on equal pay, gender discrimination and really supporting women in business.”

During the interview, Mellon briefly touched on what it was like to work with disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein, who has been accused of sexual misconduct by over 80 women – allegations he has denied. Along with stylist Rachel Zoe, she and Weinstein attempted to revive fashion brand Halston in 2006.

“Working with Harvey – he was a terrible bully. His style of operating was bullying and threatening and many times we had knock-down, drag-out fights,” Mellon said, adding that she felt confident enough to rebuff his demands. “I remember him one time saying to me, ‘I’m going to go on a press campaign, I’m going to destroy you.’ My answer to him then was: ‘Good luck with that, you’re in my industry now.'”
