Khalid has landed a global partnership with Reebok.

The Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter is teaming with bosses at the sportswear giant on the Sport the Unexpected campaign, set to be released in the spring.

Regarding the collaboration, Khalid explained that he has always been a fan of the label and appreciates the way the design team offer clothing and footwear with a “fresh twist”.

“I’m amped to partner with Reebok,” he said. “I love how they mix old and new and honour the classics with fresh twists. I hope we can inspire a new generation of people to be themselves and take creative chances.”

In a teaser image from his debut campaign, Khalid is seen posing in jeans, a white jacket, and white Reebok sneakers while standing next to a vintage car. Another shot sees him playing with his dog Maui, who is decked out in a specially designed tracksuit.

And Matt Blonder, vice president of marketing and digital brand commerce, is thrilled to welcome the 21-year-old into the Reebok fold.

“Khalid continues to be a beacon of originality, pride and imagination for today’s rising youth,” the executive praised. “Through his unique sound and a personal journey that took him across the country, Khalid authentically symbolises our common ethos – to inspire creativity and encourage experimentation. We’re privileged to welcome him to our family.”

Khalid follows in the footsteps of current Reebok brand ambassadors such as Nathalie Emmanuel, Gigi Hadid, Gal Gadot, Future, Cardi B, Danai Gurira, and Conor McGregor.

The model, who is a brand ambassador for Reebok, is regularly photographed heading to workouts at her local gym and often speaks of her love of playing volleyball and horseback riding.

However, in a new interview with Conde Nast Traveller, Gigi admitted she avoids going to the gym when she’s on holiday as she much prefers seeing the local sites.

“I just can’t go to the gym and run – I’d rather die,” she insisted. “I grew up outdoors, so my favourite thing to do is to make the most of the scenery. I cycle everywhere and swim in the sea at any spare moment.”

One particularly stunning spot Gigi recently visited was the Turks and Caicos Islands, where she shot the campaign for Michael Kors’ Wonderlust fragrance along with photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

The blonde beauty enjoyed watching the “magical” sunsets during her time away and visiting the picturesque beaches, though she confessed one of her favourite aspects of the trip was a barbecue on the beach.

“There’s great food here – the burgers at (hotel) Amanyara are incredible, and I know burgers – but you can’t beat a beach cookout. I had supper around a fire pit one night that I will never forget,” the 24-year-old recalled.

And when packing for a modelling gig or vacation near a beach, Gigi counts sunscreen and coconut oil as her beauty kit essentials.

“On tropical trips, I pretty much have coconut oil in it at all times. I swim in the ocean and rinse it but skip the shampoo – that’s the best tip I’ve learned from the pros. It gives it time to rebuild from the wear and tear,” she noted.

Gigi Hadid has released her second apparel collection with Reebok.

The American model first announced her partnership with the sports giant last year, and her first collection debuted in February.

Now, Gigi is gearing up to drop the Reebok x Gigi Hadid fall/winter 2019 line, with the range comprised of convertible vests, one-shoulder sport bras, and tracksuits. It is focused on the outdoors, with an earthy colour scheme based around khaki and pale blue.

“Everything about the outdoors inspires me,” she said of the line, according to Teen Vogue. “The light, the colours, the energy, the complexity. My season two collection is meant to support you, work with you, work with the temperatures, with the environment.

“Boundless to me is the feeling of nature – being able to breathe and look at the sky and feel limitless. When you find what makes you feel free, then you can really do anything.”

The collection also includes a new DMX 2K Zip sneaker available in a sandy or white colour scheme.

Images from the campaign see Gigi posing in a sandy desert, rocking the pale blue, rust and cream tracksuit from her collection.

The Reebok x Gigi Hadid capsule line will be available from 24 October on Reebok’s website.

Gigi, 24, first joined forces with Reebok in 2016 as part of the label’s #PerfectNever initiative, and the news of her debut collection for the brand was announced in November last year.

The apparel line, which was priced between $35 and $130 (£26 – £100), featured pieces such as ’90s-inspired T-shirts, leggings, bodysuits, parkas and trackpants along with the Aztrek Double sneaker.

Cardi B has opened up about embracing her “weirdness” in a new video campaign for sportswear giant Reebok.

The Bodak Yellow hitmaker was named as a brand ambassador for the footwear and apparel company in November.  

Now, Cardi has teamed up with Reebok executives to front the Meet You There collection, a streetwear-inspired take on athleisure. 

In the campaign images, the 26-year-old wears a green, blue, and white colour-blocked sports bra, black bike shorts, and a black sports jacket from the line. The accompanying video shows Cardi posing in the outfit on a city rooftop and talking about what makes her unique.  

“I just thought I was weird because everyone keep telling me I’m weird (sic),” she admitted in the video. “But when I started doing videos on Instagram and so many people claimed they relate to me, I was like, ‘I guess there was a lot of weird people out there!'” 

She also shared that her style was influenced by The Bronx borough in New York, where she grew up, and admitted she was insecure about her accent before she realised she had to be true to herself.  

“A lot of people always talk about how I talk – I have a really deep accent,” the star continued. “I started feeling really insecure about it, but it’s like, ‘Nah, forget it.’ I gotta be real with myself all the time. That’s something I gotta do to stay me.” 

The Meet You There collection, which offers sizes 2XS to 3XL and caters to men and women, also features tank tops, gym leggings, hoodies, trainers, and shorts.

Shaquille O’Neal has partnered with Skechers on a line of basketball shoes for children.

The retired professional basketball icon is no stranger to the footwear business, having worked with sportswear giant Reebok since 1992 and developed the popular Shaq Attaq sneaker.

Now, O’Neal has put his knowledge to work on the Shaq by Skechers collection – the first-ever range of kids’ athletic footwear designed especially for the basketball court under the Skechers Kids brand.

“I think kids are going to love the way the new styles look, and they’ll love playing in them even more,” the basketballer said in a statement. “These boys and girls might not be dunking yet, but I can’t wait to see them posting up in their new Shaq by Skechers footwear!”

The Shaq by Skechers collection’s core styles will be available in three colourways and utilise leather and knitted upper options plus lightweight midsoles and rubber outsoles for grip and durability. The mid-height sneakers have a lace-up closure, with one of the designs offering a wide single strap for an adjustable fit. All styles in the line feature the iconic dunking Shaq logo.

“This all-new children’s basketball collection is an important addition to our offering, so it’s only fitting that we’re launching with the help of one of the biggest and best players in NBA history,” added Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers. “Fans everywhere continue to enjoy Shaq’s enthusiasm for the sport, so we know kids will be excited to wear his shoes while on the court or at play. We couldn’t ask for a better ambassador to help us bring athletic footwear to elementary and middle schoolers in a new and exciting way.”

The Shaq by Skechers basketball footwear collection is now available to buy at Skechers stores across the U.S. and on the brand’s website. The range will drop in Canada, Europe, Latin America, and Israel later this year.

Cardi B has showed off her comedic side in her debut ad for Reebok.

The I Like It rapper was named as a brand ambassador for the sportswear giant last November, and on Tuesday, she dropped her first commercial – called Nails – in which she promotes the updated Club C Classic shoes.

During the short film, Cardi is seen sitting in a salon getting her hair done, as she discusses blocking a man on her phone who had failed to text her two days after they met.

She then notices her pristine white Reebok Classic Club Cs are untied, and rather than mess up her hair and lean over to tie up her shoelaces, she lets her freshly manicured nails do the work.

With her hands resting on her legs, Cardi’s nails grow to the floor, tie her shoes for her and then retract.

At the end of the video, the 26-year-old turns to a fellow customer and simply states: “Nailed it… So anyway, I think I’m going to block him.”

Cardi uploaded the video to her Instagram page too, with Snoop Dogg among the thousands of fans who commented on her post, simply writing: “U 2 Much,” alongside three of fire emojis.

Inga Stenta, senior director of global marketing at Reebok, said she wanted to “take a different path” while working with Cardi on the Club C Classic advert.

“Working with Cardi on Nails, we aimed to create a moment that is authentic to Cardi while breaking convention and doing something more engaging than a typical celebrity cameo. We took a different path, putting her in an everyday-type situation that shifts in an unexpected manner, spotlighting the iconic Reebok Club C in a completely unique way,” she commented.

Victoria Beckham has unveiled a capsule collection featuring updated takes on her favourite dresses.

The British designer is one of the busiest names in the fashion business, as she not only runs her eponymous label but also recently unveiled a sportswear collection with Reebok.

Now, Beckham has announced the launch of the VB Dress Capsule, a 15-piece range which revisits some of her signature dress silhouettes.

“So happy to have launched my new dress collection, a 15-piece capsule with strong silhouettes focusing on comfort and ease,” she wrote on Instagram on Wednesday (03Apr19) alongside a slideshow of three images depicting her wearing three of her dresses on different occasions. “Each of the dresses mean something special to me and are an evolution from key dresses that I have worn in the past, which I have brought back in my favourite shapes and silhouettes.”

Among the highlights of the line are the Open Back Draped Dress, which is now available in red fabric, and has long, gathered sleeves and a high boat neckline, the Sleeveless Sheer Back Floor-length dress, which has a deep-V front and sheer, cut-out back, as well as the Jacquard Floral Panel Dress, a fitted number with short sleeves and delicate flower print.

Regarding the concept, a brand representative shared that the capsule reimagines modern femininity for today’s customer.

“Celebrating the dress as the brand marks its first decade and offering a wardrobe of dresses for all occasions,” they said, referring to Beckham, 44, founding her namesake label in 2008. “A variety of asymmetric and fluid hemlines in sensual fabrics cut with a consciousness of the body are presented in a confident palette of black, ivory, and tomato, which sit alongside a floral jacquard. Throughout, there is a sense of driving the brand’s signature styles forward through an appreciation of the past.”

The VB Dress Capsule is now available to order online, with the dresses priced from $1,120 – $2,400 (£950 – £1,825).

Jourdan Dunn has rubbished the idea that the perfect body exists.

The former Victoria’s Secret model made the remarks while discussing body positivity, ahead of the launch of her new Reebok streetwear campaign.

In an interview with Footwear News, the 28-year-old stressed the importance of promoting body confidence among women.

“Learn to just love and accept your flaws and remember there is no such thing as the perfect body,” she said, highlighting the need for society to “progress rather than regress” in terms of opportunities.

While the Brit is renowned for her toned and slender figure, she revealed that she keeps up her exercise regime to help her maintain positive mental health too.

“For me, I just don’t exercise to keep fit,” she reflected. “Exercise is also a way for me to keep my mental and emotional well-being in check. I enjoy boxing, Pilates and barre, as I find these workouts really help keep my mind, body and soul aligned.”

For the new campaign, Dunn models a series of streetwear-style pieces that are made for strong women who aren’t afraid to show off their unique taste.

The model reflected on the way that she uses fashion to express herself, and claimed that wearing bold pieces helps her to channel her inner confidence.

“I love wearing bright colours; they make me feel ready to take on anything,” she stated. “I think that’s a really important part of the (Reebok) collection. The designs are bold and make you feel empowered no matter what you’re doing.”

The British designer is one of the busiest names in the fashion business, as she not only runs her eponymous label but also recently unveiled a sportswear collection with Reebok.

However, Victoria has now shared that whenever she feels overwhelmed by any of her daily tasks, she simply reaches for her favourite crystal to hold.

“I always have a crystal in my bag, and my go-to is a white howlite crystal,” she told New York Magazine’s The Strategist. “It’s a calming gemstone that relieves stress, calms the mind, and relaxes the whole body – you touch and hold it. I like to surround myself with positive energy, so I often have a little collection of crystals in my handbag.”

At present, Victoria counts her Jumbo Eva bag design, a large black leather tote with strap, as her preferred handbag. Other items she tends to carry around include her Apple iPhone XR, a Mophie powerstation and Sarah Chapman’s Intense Hydrating Booster.

“Sarah Chapman’s Intense Hydrating Booster is a miracle worker. I use it every day to keep my skin hydrated and radiant, and it especially helps when I haven’t got my eight hours of sleep in. Another thing it’s great for is flights, as it’s really light and not oily at all. I top the serum up continuously whilst flying to combat that air-conditioning,” the 44-year-old gushed of the product.

Additionally, Victoria shared details of her top fragrances and explained that Diptyque’s Green Figuier Scented Candle is often lit in her flagship store on Dover Street in London.

“I love the warmth of fig wood so much that I often have one for my office, too,” she smiled.

The American model has joined forces with Reebok in 2016 as part of the label’s #PerfectNever initiative and last November (18), announced her first Reebok x Gigi collection of sportswear.

Much of the range is based around a white, orange, blue and black colour scheme, with Gigi now explaining that the shades were specifically chosen because they reference her father Mohamed Hadid’s Palestinian background and her mother Yolanda Hadid’s Dutch heritage.

“I reinterpreted the American flag, the Dutch flag, and the Palestinian flag, which are my parents’ roots,” she said in an interview with InStyle.com. “And I incorporated those reimagined flags into the Reebok flags.”

Gigi’s collection also includes ‘90s-inspired T-shirts, leggings, bodysuits, parkas and trackpants. However, she is perhaps most excited about the new sneaker designs, known as the Aztrek Double, which are an update on the style first unveiled in 1993, and feature chunky white soles and colourful accents.

“It’s the dad shoe, but a lot of people are buying $1,000 dad shoes and can’t actually go to the gym in them. I’m making a dad shoe that can actually support your foot,” the 23-year-old smiled.

The Reebok x Gigi collection is now available to purchase, with items priced between $35 and $130 (£26 – £100).

Gigi unveiled the full line at a recent event in New York, where she invited some of her old high school volleyball coaches to attend and play in a fun game with students from the DREAM Charter School.

“Today, two of my high school volleyball coaches have come across the country to NYC to help me launch this first #REEBOKxGIGI collection with a day on the court,” she wrote on Instagram of the event. “This amazing collision of worlds is the epitome of what this collection means to me and I really hope you love wearing it in and out of the gym. It’s made for play !!!!!!!!!!!! (sic).”
