Emily Ratajkowski ditched her brunette locks in favour of a blonde hue for a new Kerastase campaign.

The 29-year-old model/actress took to Instagram to show off her blonde hair with a series of snaps taken at the home she shares with husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, as it was announced she would be the face of the new Blond Absolu collection for the French luxury hair care line.

“I’ve never coloured my hair or changed the length significantly in my entire life,” the star said in a statement. “I’m absolutely thrilled that Kerastase gave me their blessing to become a blonde.

“I just celebrated my birthday and am so happy to be coming out of quarantine with a fresh new look. Beauty is meant to be fun and expressive and this is definitely, hands down, the most fun I’ve ever had with my look before.”

Alongside a series of snaps on Instagram she told fans: “Day 1 as a blondie.”

And she’s not the only fashion star to be embracing a lighter hair colour in time for the summer.

Fellow model Kaia Gerber recently stepped out in Malibu with a brand new platinum blonde ‘do, while heading out for a lunch date at her father Rande Gerber’s restaurant Cafe Habana.

The 18-year-old debuted subtle blonde highlights back in April, and said she was prompted to give herself an at-home dye job because she was so bored.

“I recently posted a video on Instagram of Audrey Hepburn cutting her own bangs because I got to the point in quarantine where I was like, I’m either going to cut my hair or dye it,” she told Refinery29. “I knew something was going to happen, so I decided to give myself at-home highlights.”

Emily Ratajkowski is excited about getting older and knowing herself better.

To make use of her time while self-isolating at home with her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard and her dog Colombo, the model asked her fans to send in their questions via Instagram Stories earlier this week.

When asked if she was afraid of ageing, Emily insisted she was more excited than worried about the prospect.

“Actually no, I feel like as I’ve gotten older, I’ve just come into myself more, and yes, our culture wants women to be young forever but I feel better than I ever have so I’m excited for that,” she said in a video response.

Elsewhere in the Q&A session, the Gone Girl star, who is currently writing a book of personal essays, was queried, “What would you change about yourself?”

Accordingly, Emily admitted she dislikes being such a procrastinator.

“I wish I was less of a procrastinator, I really procrastinate and then I’m really hard on myself for procrastinating and don’t want to even start anything because I feel bad about how long I waited to do it. It’s not great,” she replied.

The 28-year-old also confessed that she feels pressure to sound smart all the time because she doesn’t want people to think she’s just a pretty face.

“I said ‘like’ in that last video and I immediately thought, ‘Oh no, people are going to think I’m stupid,’ and I really wish that I didn’t feel that way,” Emily admitted.

Throughout the session, she noted that she isn’t working out during the self-isolation period, is loving wearing sweatpants all the time, and that she is spending the lockdown hanging out with her husband and dog and writing her book.

Emily Ratajkowski is working on a book of essays.

The model/actress revealed that she had signed a book deal and was writing a series of personal essays on topics such as feminism during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday.

“I’ve had a weird experience, obviously, so grateful for my career and my life, but I have a particular perspective that I’d like to share with the world on feminism, on what my experience has been like, and hopefully people will be interested to read them,” she said.

Ratajkowski, who is married to producer Sebastian Bear-McClard, also shared that she has had ups and downs throughout the writing process and some days have been easy and productive while others have been harder. However, she is proud that she has already completed 150 pages.

“Right now, at this moment, (it’s) very hard, I had a bad day. Every day is different, but I’ve written 150 pages already,” the 28-year-old explained. “Sometimes when I come home and I’m like, ‘I didn’t get anything done today’ or whatever, my husband’s like, ‘I mean, you wrote 150 pages.'”

Ratajkowski also noted that she gets a lot of writing done on her iPhone while sitting in bed.

Elsewhere in the interview, the star spoke about using her platform to endorse U.S. Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders as well as how she learned to run her Inamorata fashion business, which initially launched as a swimwear line in 2017.

“I didn’t have a business background but I think just as I grew older and doing so many deals with Instagram and my platform, I got really excited about doing it on my own so I read a book called ‘Business for Dummies’… I’m not even kidding. It did help,” she laughed.

Emily Ratajkowski has splurged on a diamond nameplate necklace featuring the name of her pet dog Colombo.

The model/actress showed off the new accessory in an Instagram selfie, as she wore the diamond-encrusted LAJOUX nameplate necklace with her furry friend’s name in cursive font while lounging in bed.

The customisable design can cost around $1,000 (£761), and has become a favourite among celebrities. Both Priyanka Chopra and Bella Hadid have both sported the design with their own names around their necks, while Khloe Kardashian also has a necklace with daughter True Thompson’s name in diamonds.

The jewellery isn’t Emily’s first dedication to her beloved dog. In August, the 28-year-old’s husband Sebastian Bear-McClard gifted her a portrait pendant with a picture of the couple with their dog surrounded by diamonds.

The present was accompanied by an “S” pendant for his name and an “R” for her famous last name.

Emily is regularly spotted walking Colombo in New York City. And during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in May, she admitted the pup often receives more attention than she does.

“He’s a total mutt, but you can see from his paws he’s going to be a very big boy. So, I think one day I might have to bring him back, you know when he’s a full grown man,” she said. “My whole perception of New York is different because people are coming up to me and they’re like, ‘Hi, can I get a picture?’ and I’m like ‘Yeah, sure’ and then they’re like ‘…of your dog.'”

Emily Ratajkowski is releasing a line of shirts inspired by her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard’s style.

The 28-year-old model took to Instagram on Tuesday to share images of herself posing in the new designs, which she paired with items from her bikini line, Inamorata.

“I was always stealing Sebo’s shirts so decided we should have our own,” the brunette beauty captioned the shot, adding, “Slim fit, cute shape, match your favorite @inamoratawoman print suit or wear it on its own.”

The Gone Girl star pointed out that the oversized pieces perfectly compliment the beachwear.

“The perfect button up,” she added. “Your favorite (sic) Inamorata prints. Street or beach. Mix and match. Look hot, be chic.”

Emily shared sultry snaps of her wearing the new collection while posing in the home she shares with filmmaker Sebastian, and in one shot, she’s wearing her Inamorata Las Olas leopard print bikini with her new El Camino shirt, which features the same animal print.

Heidi Klum seemed to be a huge fan of the new clothing drop, as she left a flame emoji in the comments on Instagram, while Vanessa Hudgens wrote: “So cuteeee (sic).”

Victoria’s Secret Angels Lily Aldridge and Behati Prinsloo and socialite Paris Hilton also gave their seal of approval in the comments.

In addition to the leopard print design, fans can also choose from a beige shirt covered white polka dots or navy with white polka dots, pink with black dots, and white with black circles.

The pieces are available in sizes XS to XL, priced at $95 (£76), and are available from inamoratawoman.com.

Emily and Sebastian wed in New York in February last year after a whirlwind romance.

Emily Ratajkowski has urged teenage girls to embrace and love their bodies.

The actress/model is a champion of body positivity and regularly posts shots taken by her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard on Instagram depicting her posing in barely-there bikinis, or racy outfits, showing off her toned figure.

Accordingly, in an interview with People Now, Emily shared that her ultimate goal is to encourage women and young girls to love themselves and their bodies after she was bullied for going through puberty earlier than her friends.

“I’m really about body positivity. For me, when I grew up, I developed super young. I was criticised. At 13, I felt really ashamed of my body. And, it’s come full circle. Now I’m like, ‘Do your thing.’ I really want young girls to see that and feel that way about themselves,” the 28-year-old explained.

As well as a blossoming Hollywood career, Emily launched swimwear line Inamorata back in 2017 and has since expanded the collection with new designs each season.

She unveiled her new lingerie line in February, featuring a lacy bodysuit and cotton underwear, and even modelled them in the campaign images.

However, one area the brunette beauty is keen to conquer is men’s swimwear, after being challenged by her Lying and Stealing co-star Theo James during the chat.

“What about menswear?” the Divergent actor asked.

“Soon. If you want it, Theo. I’ll make it for you,” Emily teased. “I always think about, like for guys, there’s either really long board shorts, or Speedos. I want a little thigh. A little peek-a-thigh. Mid coverage. So that’s my angle.”

Emily Ratajkowski felt empowered after creating her own simple look for her wedding day.

The model and actress married producer Sebastian Bear-McClard in February (18) and surprised many with her fashion choice for the big day.

The brunette beauty wore a simple mustard-coloured Zara jacket, rather than a custom-made designer gown, and admits she’s still very happy with her look.

“I was not a Pinterest bride,” she tells Glamour magazine, referring to the social media site used by brides-to-be to create their perfect wedding day look.

The Gone Girl star chose her low-key outfit, so she wouldn’t look like a model bride, and the 27 year old admits she also found it refreshing to make her own fashion and beauty choices for the big day – without the aid of a stylist.

“I do so much glam, I do fittings once a week so for me it was just so nice to throw on a Zara suit that I loved, do my own hair and make-up – I always feel the most confident when I do it myself – and not have to have the fussiness of being a bride,” she tells the publication.

That doesn’t mean the star doesn’t enjoy her time in front of the camera, frequently taking to Instagram to stage jaw-dropping images of herself – something she approaches like an art project.

“Glam allows me to push a different persona every day and my Instagram is me taking a character and curating her life,” she says. “I treat it like an art project; it’s a different person every day.”

But the brunette doesn’t always feel beautiful and admits there are days when she feels less comfortable in her own skin.

“I have days when I literally cannot look in the mirror because I am sick of myself,” she reveals. “I don’t like how I look or I want to change certain things about myself. We are stuck inside one body, we can’t see ourselves and we have no perspective on it.”

Emily Ratajkowski is finally wearing an engagement ring, nearly five months after tying the knot.

The model-turned-actress, who has been wearing a simple gold band since she secretly wed music producer Sebastian Bear-McClard in February (18) after a whirlwind romance, took to Instagram on Wednesday night (11Jul18) to debut her bling.

In a captionless image of her newly-dressed hand, the two-stone sparkler, which includes one teardrop cut diamond and one princess cut diamond on a thin gold band, sits underneath her thick gold wedding ring. Husband Sebastian, 31, can be seen in the background smiling broadly.

The I Feel Pretty star then shared a selfie holding the new sparkler up to her face with a simple star emoji as the caption, and later, posted a close-up of the ring to her Instagram Stories.

Emily wed the producer at a secret courthouse ceremony in New York City.

In an interview with Jimmy Fallon in April, the 27-year-old revealed that Sebastian was forced to improvise when he asked her to marry him because he hadn’t bought a ring.

“He proposed to me at Minetta Tavern (a restaurant in New York) and he didn’t have a ring,” she shared during The Tonight Show. “He then took the paperclip that the bill was paid with and made me a ring, which I actually thought was really romantic.”

Emily, who designed her own collection of fine jewellery for luxury brand Spinelli Kilcollin in May, also confessed her wedding band was only supposed to be temporary.

“We walked into Chinatown and bought an ounce of gold and he was like, ‘We’ll melt down the gold and make the rings,'” she shared with Jimmy. “It was supposed to be temporary but I’m now growing attached to it and I don’t wanna get rid of it. I just feel like making it yourself, could it be more personal?”
