Selena Gomez and her younger sister wear “awkward” matching clothes during the Christmas holidays.

The popstar can usually be seen looking glam on the red carpet or in campaigns for her collaboration with sportswear giant Puma, but Christmas is all about keeping cosy and comfortable for Selena, who gets into the holiday spirit by finding matching outfits that she and her six-year-old half-sister Gracie can wear during the festive period.

“I always love knit sweaters – I’m totally that girl. I usually will just wear something comfy, maybe just a dress pant that’s loose,” she told InStyle. “Or, when I’m hanging out with my sister, of course, I want to put on cosy, matching, awkward Christmas stuff. I’ve already bought so many different outfits we can wear together. I feel it’s my time, because when I’m with my family at Christmas, it’s not like I’m not going out to huge fancy dinners or anything. It’s usually just us, tucked away and just having time for ourselves.”

The 27-year-old shared that she places a lot of importance in feeling comfortable and will pick a jacket that feels like a “safety blanket”.

“There are jackets I can almost wear with anything, and it’s like my go-to safety blanket. Whether it’s a nice sweater or a fluffy jacket, something that’s cosy. That tends to be recurring,” Selena joked.

Elsewhere in the interview, the Lose You to Love Me added that she always wears jewellery to complete a look.

“Whether I’m wearing anything from sportswear, to street, or red carpet, I feel like it’s nice to have a little bit (of jewellery). The earrings I have are cheap – not real gold, basically – but it always makes me feel like (I’m going) from casual to something nice,” she explained.

Hailey Bieber dislikes how social media is pitting women against each other and creating “toxic narratives”.

The model is no stranger to finding herself at the centre of headlines alleging she is at war with other famous women, such as her husband Justin Bieber’s ex Selena Gomez.

And in a new interview with British Vogue, Hailey insisted she wants to see changes made to sites such as Instagram and Twitter, to stop the negativity from affecting people’s lives.

“I think social media is a breeding ground for toxicity and people creating false drama between women and trying to put women up against each other and create these narratives that are just… toxic,” she commented. “I think that has to change and that has to stop.

“I think there needs to be more people with platforms coming together and saying to each other, ‘Let’s kill the conversation, let’s kill the fake drama, let’s squash all these things, let’s move on from stuff. Let’s not give people a reason to fuel fire and create drama and being rude to each other.'”

Elsewhere in the interview, Hailey discussed her recent second wedding ceremony with the Sorry hitmaker, calling it the “highlight of my year”.

“I honestly just felt so happy; I was so content. There’s nothing like marrying the love of your life. It’s an indescribable feeling,” the 23-year-old sweetly shared.

The pair have yet to head off on an official honeymoon, but Hailey said their frequent travelling means they’re almost enjoying a constant post-wedding celebration.

“I think we travel enough where it’s kind of a honeymoon all of the time,” she smiled. “Just being with each other, just getting to spend time alone can feel like that. We love to do little trips, we love to go away for the night or the weekend. I love to travel.”

Selena Gomez has unveiled her third collection of athleisurewear for Puma.

The star was named as a brand ambassador for the sportswear giant back in 2018 and has since gone on to release two apparel and footwear lines.

Now, Selena has dropped her latest instalment for the company, with the range featuring versatile gym clothes and sporty footwear.

“This collection with Puma was one of my favourite ones to design,” the 27-year-old said. “I think the final product is beautiful, I feel so confident wearing it and hope everyone does too.”

The Selena Gomez x Puma autumn/winter 2019 collection will be available to purchase around the world on 1 December from select retailers, Puma stores, and the label’s website.

Items come in a colour palette of navy, pink, silver and white, with key footwear pieces including the SR Runner and the updated Cali, an evolution of the classic Puma California.

There is also the roomy SG Woven Jacket, a rugby-inspired piece with simple SG graphics, the SG Woven Pant, leggings, hoodies, and shorts. Accessories include a beanie and backpack.

“Selena and the team had a timeless, scholastic mindset when designing the collection. Still, the main inspiration was Gomez herself, as she always looks for neutral colours, comfortable materials, and versatile pieces,” a Puma representative added.

In addition to her Puma project, Selena is also gearing up to release her third solo studio album. The record is set to be unveiled on 10 January and will include the singles Lose You to Love Me and Look at Her Now.

During the ceremony, the 29-year-old picked up six awards, including Artist of the Year and Artist of the Decade, and also performed a medley of her biggest songs, before launching into a version of her hit Shake It Off with Halsey and Camila Cabello.

Other stars to make a splash on the red carpet included Selena Gomez, who opted for a chartreuse minidress from Versace and Roberto Coin jewellery, Dua Lipa, who rocked a hot pink Miu Miu gown, and Billie Eilish, who wore a Burberry outfit topped off with a crystal mesh headpiece.

Lizzo made a statement in a marigold tiered dress from Valentino, which she matched with a tiny white purse and strappy white high heels from Stuart Weitzman.

“@maisonvalentino bag big enough for my f**ks to give. Big body b**ch in a Valentin-HO custom look for @amas,” the Love Hurts hitmaker captioned a snap of her posing with the miniature bag on her Instagram page.

Kesha wore a Versace robe and matching boots for the evening, host Ciara turned up in an eye-catching orange crystal jumpsuit from Georges Hobeika, Katherine Langford wowed in a ruffled red Rodarte ballgown, while Christina Aguilera made a dramatic entrance in a white ensemble complete with hood and chunky jewellery from Jean Paul Gaultier.

Elsewhere, Stranger Things actress Maya Hawke looked like a princess in a black tulle Dior gown, Billy Porter turned heads in a white ensemble from Thom Browne topped off with a striking Stephen Jones hat, and Lil Nas X made a splash in a neon green suit and zebra print shirt.

Jennifer Lopez has been named as the new global brand ambassador for Coach.

On Tuesday, executives at the New York-based fashion and accessories label announced that the superstar has been tapped to front advertising campaigns for the leather goods, ready-to-wear, and footwear categories, beginning with the spring 2020 season.

“I’m so excited for this collaboration with Coach,” said Lopez. “It is a timeless brand that I’ve always been a fan of, and the upcoming collection really speaks to my personal style – an uptown downtown mix.”

In her debut image for the company, the Hollywood star is seen posing in a trench coat and silk scarf, while also carrying a handbag with chain handle. The black-and-white snap was taken by photographer Benjamin Rosser.

And creative director Stuart Vevers is thrilled to have Lopez, a native of The Bronx borough, join the wider Coach family.

“Jennifer is so authentic. She’s determined and she’s an original who has followed her own path to do things her own way – she really embodies the attitude of Coach and our new campaign,” he praised of the 50-year-old. “I loved when Jennifer carried the Coach Signature bags in her 2002 video All I Have. She’s from New York like Coach, which creates another authentic connection with our heritage.”

Vevers also indicated that photographer Juergen Teller would be helming an upcoming photoshoot with Lopez.

The Hustlers actress follows in the footsteps of fellow Coach brand ambassadors including Selena Gomez and Michael B. Jordan.

The 27-year-old singer took to Instagram to share a picture of the moment she and Julia got inked with matching arrow etchings on their thumbs, writing: “It’s tatted.. my arrow points to you forever.”

Julia shared the same snap on her Instagram Stories, and captioned it: “Always to you baby. Love you @selenagomez.”

It’s understood that they were given the ink by tattoo artists Brad Reis and London Reese backstage at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles following Julia’s concert there on Monday night, during which Selena joined her on stage for a surprise duet of their collaboration Anxiety – which the pair wrote together along with Ian Kirkpatrick and Scott Harris.

Sitting on a bench together, the pair wrapped their arms around one another as they sang lyrics including: “Feel like I’m always apologising for feeling/Like I’m out of my mind when I’m doing just fine/And my exes all say that I’m hard to deal with/And I admit it, yeah.”

They ended their performance with a kiss, which Selena shared a picture of on her Instagram Stories alongside a black heart emoji.

After Monday’s concert, Julia posted a video of her and Selena’s performance on her Instagram page and expressed her disbelief at just how far she’s come as she wrote: “I’m kind of convinced these last few days aren’t real. Thank you @selenagomez for the most epic headline show I’ve ever played. I love you beyond words and I’m so happy we finally got to sing our baby together.”

Selena and Julia have long been friends and songwriting partners – Julia is credited as a co-writer on Selena’s new tunes Lose You to Love Me and Look at Her Now.

Selena Gomez felt “attacked” by online critics after gaining weight during her health battle.

The superstar was diagnosed with autoimmune disease lupus several years ago, and in summer 2017, received a kidney transplant from her friend Francia Raisa.

But while Selena tries to be open with her 160 million followers on Instagram, in a new chat with her pal Raquelle Stevens for the Giving Back Generation podcast, she recalled how she had a hard time dealing with mean comments about her changing figure as she recovered.

“I have lupus and deal with kidney issues and high blood pressure, so I deal with a lot of health issues and for me, that’s when I really started noticing more of the body image stuff,” she said, according to a preview given to Elle.com. “No, (the lupus doesn’t affect my weight) – it’s the combination of all of it. It’s the medication I have to take for the rest of my life – it depends on even the month, to be honest. So, for me, I really noticed when people started attacking me for that. In reality, that’s just my truth. I fluctuate. It depends what’s happening in my life. Right (it’s totally out of my control), and that got to me big time. I think for me, that really messed me up for a bit.”

Selena went on to explain that she is now trying her best to be “present” in her own life by participating in social media and attending red carpet events, but avoiding unnecessary time dwelling on what she looked like in photos.

“I want people to have a good relationship with social media. It’s not going anywhere anytime soon,” the 27-year-old insisted. “But knowing that real world’s in front of you and trying to pay attention to that is healthy. When I make an effort to post on social media or do what I’m doing, it’s important for me to make sure it’s 100 per cent authentic and once I post it, I post it. That’s it.”

The 27-year-old stepped out at the world premiere of Disney’s highly-anticipated sequel in Hollywood, California alongside her sibling, six-year-old Gracie Teefey, with the pair both wearing wintery princess outfits by Marc Jacobs.

Selena wore her hair in loose braids, while both sisters sported matching white prairie dresses with bell sleeves printed with small blue flowers, and show-stopping dark grey sequinned cloaks lined with feathers.

Selena cuddled and kissed Gracie while walking hand-in-hand on the red carpet, which was attended by stars from the film including Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad, Jonathan Groff, Evan Rachel Wood, and Sterling K. Brown.

Back in 2017, the Hands to Myself hitmaker paid tribute to Gracie with a heartwarming post on social media.

“I will forever let my sister know she is strong, bold and beautiful,” she wrote on Instagram. “She will be raised to know her voice matters. She is going to understand the importance behind being a leader and inspire others by her truth.”

Selena’s mother Mandy Teefey welcomed daughter Gracie in 2013 with second husband Brian Teefey.

She’s previously spoken about wanting to be a good role model for her sister and claimed her sibling even brings out her maternal side.

“I keep her very very protected. I mean, it’s instinctual,” the star explained. “She’s adorable. I’m obsessed with her and becoming a big sister. I know I’ve had the responsibility to be a role model for girls but, when you have a little sister of your own, you kinda think, ‘Okay, this is legit.'”

Coach is to be the first-ever luxury fashion house to participate in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Founded in 1941, the New York-based label is known for its leather goods, apparel, footwear, fragrance, eyewear, and accessories, with brand ambassadors including Selena Gomez and Michael B. Jordan.

Now, Coach is to make history by having a new float included in the annual holiday spectacle, set to take place on 28 November.

“As an iconic American brand, we are proud for Coach to be the first luxury fashion house to have a float in the 93-year history of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade,” said Joshua Schulman, chief executive officer and brand president of Coach. “We can think of no better way to kick-off the holiday season than to participate in this great American tradition. This project not only underscores our important partnership with Macy’s, but also speaks to the future of the traditional wholesale business model, evolving from distribution into meaningful brand storytelling.”

Coach’s float will be themed around the company’s dinosaur mascot, Rexy. The icon was first unveiled by creative director Stuart Vevers in 2015, but will be transformed into a giant, glittering version for the upcoming event.

“Designed and constructed by the artists of Macy’s Parade Studio, Coach’s ‘Rexy in the City’ float is a dazzling marvel of engineering, artistry, and animation that will bring a new level of whimsy to our Parade line-up this year,” said Susan Tercero, executive producer of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. “On Thanksgiving Day, Rexy, the fearless fashion dino will capture the imagination and hearts of millions as she makes her glittering way down the streets of Manhattan.”

In addition to the float, Coach is partnering with Macy’s on a limited-edition Rexy-themed collection. Items, including footwear, T-shirts, and accessories, will be available to purchase from 15 November.

 It was announced in late 2011 that the singer, who was then starring in TV show Hannah Montana, would be voicing the teenage vampire Mavis, the daughter of Adam Sandler’s Dracula, in the animated movie, but in February 2012, she departed from the project and no reason was given for her exit.  

However, the 26-year-old posted a lengthy message on social media on Thursday night to deny claims she had cheated on her estranged husband Liam Hemsworth during their short-lived marriage, and in the post, she reeled off a string of indiscretions and revealed that she was dropped from the 2012 movie after photos of her licking a penis-shaped cake went viral. 

 “I got kicked off hotel Transylvania for buying Liam a penis cake for his birthday and licking it,” she wrote, shortly after confessing she lost “a massive Walmart deal at 17” for smoking marijuana from a bong. 

 “I’m not perfect, I don’t want to be, it’s boring. I’ve grown up in front of you, but the bottom line is, I HAVE GROWN UP,” she continued. “I can admit to a lot of things, but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating.” 

 Miley, who announced her separation from The Hunger Games star in early August, was subsequently replaced by fellow Disney Channel star Selena Gomez, who has gone on to voice Mavis in the 2015 sequel and Hotel Transylvania 3: A Monster Vacation, which was released last year. The franchise has been a box office success for Sony Pictures Animation and a fourth instalment is slated to hit cinemas in 2021.
