Shay Mitchell has found it “empowering” to put together outfits to fit her growing baby bump.

The Pretty Little Liars actress announced in June that she was expecting her first child with partner Matte Babel, and earlier this month, shared that the baby is a girl.

Shay has looked great throughout her pregnancy, and in a new interview with People, explained that she has really enjoyed shopping for ensembles to suit her changing figure.

“I haven’t changed my style because I’m pregnant,” she commented to the publication. “I wear all of the same stuff. I curated this collection before I was pregnant. I feel empowered dressing my bump. When I was hiding it, it was very difficult.”

While Shay has continued to wear items from her usual wardrobe, she did note that she has also purchased some regular clothes in bigger sizes and invested in some maternity jeans.

And she felt entirely confident recently when she slipped on one of her bikini designs for her Shaycation x Revolve collection, which she shot the campaign for in Cuixmala, Mexico.

“To be honest, more than in my entire life, being in a bikini at this point (in my pregnancy) makes me feel more confident than I ever was before,” the 32-year-old smiled. “I don’t really have to suck it in. I can’t suck it in. So, you get what you get.”

The Shaycation x Revolve line features a range of beach-ready pieces, including bikinis, swimwear, jumpsuits, rompers, dresses, sweatshirts, and even a hair scrunchie.

Items are priced from $25- $269 (£20 – £215).

Actress Shay Mitchell has launched a line of handbags inspired by the Coachella music festival.

The Festival Collection is now available as part of the lifestyle brand BEIS, which was launched by the former Pretty Little Liars star last year (18). The initial release under the affordable label included duffle bags, backpacks and cosmetic cases inspired by the brunette beauty’s love of travel, and they were all developed with durable fabrics and extensive pocket space, making the items both fashionable and functional.

Among the latest offerings are a tote bag, fanny pack and duffle, comprised of faux leather trim and an adjustable strap. The 31 year old designed the line with concertgoers in mind, catering to those who want to enjoy live music secure in the knowledge their belonging are safe.

The bags were crafted with the idea of “being at a concert with your hands in the air, not having to worry about the safety of your stuff,” Shay shared in a press release, adding her new Mini Duffle is perfect for those “with the gym or a day trip in mind”, and features compartments for shoes and toiletries.

Mitchell recently reflected on the creation of her company in an interview with Who What Wear’s podcast Second Life and explained why she decided to keep the launch simple.

“I wanted to come out with the basics first,” she noted. “If I were to come out with 30 different items, that would be very overwhelming for the consumer. Everybody needs a backpack. Everybody needs a weekender and passport holder. And from that, we just kind of came up with the assortment that we had for our first launch.”

She added, “I came out with this to create something that was functional, chic, and affordable.”

Taylor Swift debuted pink hair at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Thursday night (14Mar19).

The superstar made a rare red carpet appearance at the music bash held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, stopping to pose for photographers in a playful sequin Rosa Bloom romper, which she paired with Sophia Webster high heels.

However, fans were quick to notice that Taylor had dyed her blonde ponytail a rose-pink shade for the event in an Instagram post that she uploaded shortly before arriving at the event, which she captioned, “Bout to walk out on the @iheartradio carpet, thought I’d show you first.”

A number of followers praised her fresh new look on social media, with one writing, “I love the pink in her hair!!!” and another adding, “Pink highlights?! Is a new era coming? And I love her outfit so much!”

During the ceremony, Taylor collected the prize for Tour of the Year for her Reputation Stadium Tour and addressed rumours that she is working on new music in her acceptance speech by commenting, “I just wanted to let you know that when there’s new music, you will be the first to know.”

The Delicate singer wasn’t the only star to have pink hair at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, as Halsey, the winner of the Fangirls Award, stepped out with freshly dyed candy floss-coloured locks.

And actress Shay Mitchell turned heads when she arrived wearing a silver Nicolas Jebran dress and jacket, with her ensemble topped off with a bright blonde wig.

“Freaking out my grandma every time I wear a different wig to an event, will never get old,” the 31-year-old wrote alongside a snap of her posing on a red carpet.

Other celebrities to make a sartorial statement included Katy Perry, who wore a retro Paska dress with black gloves and matching headband, and John Legend, who rocked a lilac suit from Paul Smith.

The makeup artist behind some of the stunning looks sported by Emily Ratajkowski, Shay Mitchell and Ariana Grande is set to launch his own cosmetics line.

Patrick Ta shared the exciting news with Vogue during his star-studded 28th birthday party earlier this week (ends15Feb19), which featured guests like Gigi and Bella Hadid.

He also shared the exciting venture with fans, taking to Instagram Stories to post a video on the upcoming collection.

“I have something super special and exciting that I wanted to share with you guys,” he said. “It’s something that I’ve been working on for the last two years now. So, it’s been so hard to keep everything such a secret because I’m obsessed with it – and I can’t keep a secret.

“I am launching my first beauty line and I am so excited about it, because I’ve worked so hard on the formulas and they’re just so beautiful.”

Released on 4 April (19), Ta promises makeup loved by his celebrity clients will be available to all.

“So it hasn’t launched yet but I will be posting on my Instagram some of the products soon,” he continued, “I will be using them on my clients and I wonder if you guys can guess what I’m coming out with.”

While no additional details have been announced, Ta teased the new products in another video featured on his official website, which featured behind-the-scenes shots of a photoshoot with the text, “major glow is on its way”.

“For her, for body, for face, for lip, for one, for all,” a message reads, promising a full range of items are on the way.

Los Angeles-based Ta, who also counts Constance Wu and Jennifer Lopez among his clients, also serves as a Global Colour Artist for Shiseido and Global Make-up Artist Ambassador for La Mer.

Actress Shay Mitchell has finally found a solution for her blush problem by teaming up with bosses at Buxom.

The former Pretty Little Liars star serves as Global Creative Brand Ambassador for the company and she is currently promoting the new Wanderlust Primer-Infused Blushes, a product she loves.

“Although I love getting glam, I don’t want to reapply a product consistently throughout the day,” she tells Refinery29, noting most blush offerings she has used in the past require reapplication. “I’m somebody that does my makeup in the morning and I need it to last throughout the entire day, and that’s exactly what this (Buxom) blush does.”

The Wanderlust Primer-Infused Blushes are inspired by international destinations such as Mykonos in Greece and Spain’s party island Ibiza and Shay, who also owns a travel accessories company, loved the idea of jet-setting inspired blush, as she is often moved to change up her look thanks to the places she visits.

“I think it’s always really fun to play around (with) the colours when you go away to different locations,” the 31-year-old beauty smiles. “If I’m going somewhere tropical, I tend to bring more of a pop of colour with me.”

And, if Shay can’t escape by hopping on a plane, she uses makeup to get away from her troubles.

“I have fun with makeup, even with my hair when I play around with wigs,” she smiles. “That’s how beauty should be. Obviously, you want to take care of yourself on the inside first, and then apply makeup and have fun with it.”

Actress Shay Mitchell approaches fashion choices the same way she prepares to play characters.

The former Pretty Little Liars star recently teamed up with Harper’s Bazaar editors for the publication’s Little Black Book style series, and shared what self-expression through clothing means to her.

When it comes to putting her outfits together, Mitchel compares the process to creating a new role.

“I think what I love the most about styling is that you become the character,” she says. “I think that what is so great about fashion is you play with it and have fun with it.”

Mitchell relies on her “fairy god sister” stylist Monica Rose to put together her chic red carpet looks.

“Monica is so talented in the things she pulls and how she puts them together, and she is truly a magician when it comes to clothing, and fashion, and styling,” she shares.

But the ladies never take style too seriously: “I think that it’s meant to be fun,” Shay tells Bazaar.

Mitchell recently channelled her passion for style and jetsetting into designing a line of affordable travel accessories – her new BEIS range features seven pieces, including the Passport Holder and the Luggage Tag, and is priced between $12 (£9) and $83 (£63).

Shay, a frequent traveller, explains she wanted to create pieces everyone can afford.

“I have (had) wanderlust my entire life, and I remember being very young and knowing that I wanted to see as much of the world as I could,” she told People magazine. “With my career and other opportunities, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel all over. After countless trips and ‘Shaycations’, I realised that I wanted to create amazing, affordable pieces for travellers like myself.”

Anna Sui has slammed celebrities who return sample clothes in poor condition.

The American designer has been in the business since the early ’90s and had famous supermodels including Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista walk during her first ever show in 1991. Today she is beloved by fashion royalty such as Gigi and Bella Hadid, while other famous clients include Shay Mitchell, Vanessa Hudgens and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

However, while a number of A-listers are queuing up to be dressed by her, Sui finds it annoying when her designs come back in an unacceptable condition – something that happens all too often.

“Oh yes, especially when it is your original sample,” she complained to Page Six at the Fashion Group International Night of Stars. “It just happened recently, and I did not handle it well. It is not settled yet. It is not legal or anything, but it has not been settled yet.”

Sui was honoured with the Fashion Star award at the ceremony last Thursday (25Oct18) and received the accolade from fellow designer and close friend Marc Jacobs. And though the 54-year-old has pioneered trends like boho, athleisure and ’70s folk, she believes that sometimes it’s the most simple outfits that prove to be the most effective.

“I love people with great style. It does not have to be my style — it can just be jeans and a white shirt,” she smiled. “I wish I could look good in a white shirt!”

Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing and Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, creative directors at Kenzo and founders of Opening Ceremony, also received Fashion Star awards on the night, while Vera Wang took home the prestigious Superstar award.

Dua Lipa, Karlie Kloss and Shay Mitchell have joined forces for Adidas’ new Statement Collection.

British singer Dua, who joined the Adidas family in January, unveiled the first campaign images to her Instagram followers. In the snaps, the New Rules hitmaker poses in patterned leggings and gym bra sets, showing off her toned stomach and sculpted arms.

Model Karlie, who has been working with the sportswear giant since 2016, is yet to show any of the new images on her social media platforms, though has uploaded a snap of her surprise wedding to Joshua Kushner. The pair tied the knot on Thursday (18Oct18) in Upstate New York.

Pretty Little Liars star Shay revealed her involvement by retweeting an Adidas post to her own followers, while Venezuelan tennis player Garbine Muguruza and American entrepreneur Hannah Bronfman also star in the new adverts.

“For your training sessions, your vinyasas and your jabs, the Statement Collection is here to let you stand out in style,” brand executives wrote on Twitter.

“Join @dualipa, @karliekloss, @hannahbronfman, @garbimuguruza and @shaymitch and transform your workouts.”

The collection is also made up of shorts, logo T-shirts and gym bags.

In an interview posted on Adidas’ website, Dua chatted with Hannah about her fitness regime.

“I try and work out as much as I can. I have such a busy lifestyle I feel like I need to try and do something for myself every day,” Dua commented. “I love doing something that’s really fast and quick like a 15-minute HIIT workout, which I can do before I start my day.

“When you’re on a tour bus, every day every place is different so you never know what you’re going to find, so that’s always one way to keep it interesting.”

The former Pretty Little Liars star also wanted to create pieces that could be used on a daily basis.

“While I love traditional luggage pieces, I really believe accessory products are equally as important for travel,” she adds. “Most of the products that we are launching with can be used for travel or for the everyday person going to work or school.”

“The cosmetic case can be for the woman on the go,” she continues. “The weekender can be a travel bag or tote groceries. The duffel can be a gym bag and so on. I wanted the bags to have many functionalities while providing value for the consumers.”

Mitchell has also made her new venture charitable by teaming up with organisers at Girl Up, who work to empower and inspire young women. The organisation was founded by United Nations officials and a percentage of proceeds from sales will be donated to the initiative.

Actress Shay Mitchell often works out several times a day to reach her “best self”.

The former Pretty Little Liars star doesn’t like to be tied down to a set weekly exercise schedule and prefers to cram in intense training sessions all in one go.

“I travel too much to have a set work-out schedule each day, but when I do have time to get workouts in, I go really hard,” she tells InStyle Australia. “It’s not unusual for me to do a spin class, Pilates and then see a personal trainer all on a Sunday morning – I pack it in when I can. After a workout I feel strong, the blood is flowing, and even though I’m usually covered in sweat, I always feel like my best self.”

Shay is an ambassador for skincare brand Biore and on her rare days off, the star incorporates a special facial treatment to help herself relax.

“I don’t have downtime too often, but when I do you can find me in bed, with a Biore Self-Heating One Minute Mask on and Thai food on my lap watching documentaries on Netflix,” she shares, revealing a regular skincare routine improves her everyday life. “I have grown to love my skincare routine over the years. I wake up, wash and cleanse my face, put on SPF (Sun Protection Factor lotion) and I’m out the door. At night I will wash my face again, usually apply a face mask or pore strip, moisturise, then head to bed.”

To round out her grooming and care regime, Shay uses natural products to ensure her hair is glowing.

“Coconut oil!” she gushes of the secret to her lustrous locks. “I use it about once a week as a hair rinse or a hair mask. I picked up that trick years and years ago from my mum, who grew up in the Philippines using it.”
