Sofia Richie is planning on wearing a headscarf until she can make an appointment with her hairdresser once again.

The model/influencer has been practicing social distancing and staying at home in accordance with advice from World Health Organization (WHO) officials during the current coronavirus pandemic.

Taking to her Instagram Stories over the weekend, Sofia posted a filtered selfie showing her wearing a colourful head accessory and black T-shirt.

“I will be wearing a scarf on my head until @taunidawson is able to do my roots,” she wrote in the caption, referring to hairstylist Tauni Dawson from Nine Zero One salon in Los Angeles.

However, Sofia will undoubtedly have to make a time with Tauni quickly once the quarantine guidelines lift as the colourist also counts the likes of Miley Cyrus and blogger Marianna Hewitt among her high-profile clientele.

Earlier on Sunday, the star also posted a string of clips showing her taking in part in an online workout session with The Sculpt Society founder’s Megan Roup on her balcony.

“So excited for dance cardio RN (right now),” the 21-year-old added.

Many other celebrities have also taken to social media to express a little concern over what their hair may look like in the coming weeks. However, TV host Kelly Ripa recently urged her fans not to even contemplate an at-home trim.

“I know from where I speak,” she shared. “I cut my bangs before the Daytime Emmys about 22 years ago and I’ve never gotten over it.”

Sofia Richie preparing to release bikini line

Sofia Richie is planning to kick off her business empire with a line of bikinis.

The 21-year-old is gearing up to launch her own business this year and will start by releasing a line of swimwear, as she is obsessed with bikinis and owns around “50 or 60” pairs.

“I love bikinis… I feel like my following is always fascinated by the bikinis I’m wearing,” Sofia told U.S. Cosmopolitan magazine.

Sofia has experience in this area as she previously collaborated with Los Angeles-based brand Frankies Bikinis to create a 10-piece line of ’90s-inspired swimwear last year.

After the release of her own bikini line, Sofia then plans to expand her business to include a fashion collection and a beauty company – which will focus on hair and body, rather than make-up, while also launching a YouTube channel and an acting career.

“It’s time to start hustling,” the model said of her plans. “2020 is about no fear, and I’m doing things that would usually make me very uncomfortable.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Sofia, who has appeared in campaigns for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, and Chanel, explained how modelling fell into her lap because of her famous father, Lionel Richie. However, she soon realised she wanted more from her career.

“A lot of people just become models because they’re influencers,” she shared. “We would all get the same jobs, be in the same space, and be labelled the same thing, and I hated it. It made me step back and be like, ‘O.K., I’m a creative individual and I want to be smart, start my own businesses, do something I can do on my own, and not be attached to other people.'”

Sofia Richie has credited meditation and Reiki for helping her overcome her “zero-to-a-hundred panic attacks”.

For the April 2020 issue of U.S. Cosmopolitan magazine, the model/social media influencer opened up on the topic of mental health, noting that she has long suffered from “severe anxiety”.

But while doctors advised her to try prescription drugs, she refused, and instead opted to begin investigating other ways she could help herself without medication.

“I read a lot of books, and once I figured out what I was doing to myself, I learned how to control it,” the 21-year-old explained. “I would convince myself that I was panicking or that I wasn’t comfortable, and once I realised that I was doing that to myself and nothing was actually wrong with me, I was totally fine.”

Accordingly, Sofia has found practicing meditation and meeting with a Reiki expert to be very beneficial for her wellbeing. Reiki is an alternative therapy that involves the passing of energy from the practitioner to the patient via their palms.

Although the star, who is dating TV personality Scott Disick, still occasionally has that “oh my God, I’m about to freak out” feeling, prompted by “stupid things, like not having a water bottle in the car or getting stuck in traffic”, she now has the tools to help keep herself from spiralling.

“I know how to be like, Calm down, you’re here. There’s nothing to panic about,” she added.

Elsewhere in the chat, Sofia shared how she is hoping to continue bringing awareness to mental health issues while also pursuing her dreams of breaking into Hollywood as an actress.

Sofia Richie has learned many valuable beauty lessons from her dad Lionel Richie.

Taking part in a new make-up and skincare tutorial for Vogue.com, the model detailed her daily regime and credited the music icon for inspiring her to take good care of her face.

“My dad probably gets his nails, his hair, and gets facials more than me,” Sofia joked. “So, I aspire to be like him. He’s obsessed with skincare. He’s the person who will come to me and say, ‘I love you; your skin looks dry. Maybe you need a facial?'”

The Dancing on the Ceiling hitmaker then made a surprise cameo in the video.

“Sleep and water, and I guess that’s all I need to do,” Lionel told Sofia, when quizzed about his own skincare regime.

Elsewhere in the video, the 21-year-old explained that she’s been visiting top dermatologist, Dr. Harold Lancer, for her “very sensitive skin” since she was 13 and uses his products religiously.

After washing her face, Sofia applies the Lancer Skincare light moisturiser and then spritzes on some rose water. She then dabs on a tinted primer and sticks on some hydrating eye patches to help with any puffiness or dark circles.

“If I’m going to a shoot, I will wake up and drive with these all the way to the shoot until I get into the make-up chair,” she explained.

Next, Sofia uses an SPF, mixes Bobbi Brown and Becca foundations to create a base, and follows up with a few strokes of concealer, a sweep of her translucent powder, and a touch of her favourite Chanel bronzer.

The star also noted that she always uses a waterproof mascara from Maybelline.

“It took me years to find a mascara that worked for me,” Sofia shared. “I’ve been using this for years and will never use another mascara ever.”

Kylie Jenner has dressed her daughter Stormi Webster in a mini version of her purple outfit from the 2019 Met Gala for a Halloween party.

The beauty mogul wore the extravagant Versace gown to the annual event back in May, with the dress featuring huge feathered sleeves, a bodice made of flesh-toned fabric, and silvery embroidery.

Now, Kylie has decided to replicate her opulent look into a tiny version for her 20-month-old daughter for Halloween, complete with a feather boa and purple wig.

“My baby!!!!!!!! i cant handle this!!!! (sic)” the 22-year-old wrote alongside two pictures and a video on Instagram on Sunday, showing Stormi toddling around while wearing the dress.

Sofia Richie was among one of the thousands commenting on the sweet post, writing: “Omg (oh my God) I can’t deal.”

Stormi’s father Travis Scott, who recently split from Kylie, left a love heart emoji, while Vanessa Hudgens, Kris Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble and Paris Hilton also shared their love for the tot in the comments section.

Kylie continued the Halloween celebrations with her friend Stassie Karanikolaou, and the duo sent social media into meltdown over the weekend when they shared pictures of them dressed as Madonna and Britney Spears.

The reality TV personality who was impersonating the Material Girl hitmaker, leaned in for a kiss with Stassie, who was dressed as Britney, to recreate the iconic moment from the MTV Video Music Awards in 2003 when the singers kissed on stage.

The model is one of the most sought-after names in the fashion business, having walked the runway for the likes of Victoria’s Secret, Versace, Fendi, and Chanel.

Now, Hill has collaborated with designers at the online retailer on the Boohoo x Taylor Hill edit, with pieces reflecting her whimsical aesthetic.

“My personal style is laidback, eclectic, and comfortable. I love mixing current trends with vintage pieces in my closet to create a new look,” she said of her signature style.

The range also features romantic florals and embroideries in a colour palette of neutral tones, dusky pinks, emerald greens and mustard yellows.

Throughout the collection, textured fabrics and details including plaid suiting, embellished denim, ruffles, polka dot overlays and novelty lace sit against soft tailoring and feminine silhouettes.

Items are priced from $12 to $40 (£9 – £31) and are now available to purchase from the label’s website.

“I really admire how Boohoo is super inclusive – there is something for everyone and they’re always one step ahead with the trends and really affordable. You don’t have to break the bank to make your closet look fabulous,” the 23-year-old added.

Sofia Richie has partnered with fashion label Missguided on a collection.

The model and influencer, who is the youngest daughter of music icon Lionel Richie and his ex-wife Diane Alexander, has steadily been pursuing her own career and has landed campaigns for brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, and Chanel.

Now, Sofia has teamed up with bosses at U.K. retailer Missguided on a 60-piece range, with the items reflecting her signature aesthetic.

“I’m really excited to see my collaboration with Missguided come to life,” she said in a statement. “The collection is super wearable and inspired by inner warrior woman.”

Key pieces in the line include muscle fit crop tops, ruched slinky dresses, and corsets. Most items come in a neutral colour palette, though there are some pops of neon yellow.

“The collection has been exclusively designed by Sofia Richie in collaboration with Missguided and exudes effortlessly cool sex appeal for the confident, empowered woman,” a brand rep added. “Taking inspiration from Sofia’s own aesthetic, the collection includes soft masculine tailoring, oversized silhouettes, and high shine faux animal print in coordinating trench and trouser sets.”

Designs in the Missguided x Sofia Richie collection are priced from $14 – $92 (£12-£75). They will be stocked on the company’s website from 17 September.

Sofia, who is dating reality TV personality Scott Disick, previously teamed with Frankies Bikinis on a swimwear collection. And earlier in the year, the 21-year-old also announced plans to launch her own clothing label, to be called Sofia Stone, with LA Collective.

Kylie Jenner has partnered with Scott Disick’s Talentless clothing company on a capsule collection.

The reality TV star is currently on vacation in the idyllic Turks and Caicos Islands to celebrate the successful launch of her skincare venture, Kylie Skin.

Kylie has documented the trip on social media, and on Wednesday posted a snap on Instagram showing her and some pals sporting matching light pink minidresses with the words Kylie Skin x Talentless splashed across the front in white text.

“New Kylie inspired @talentless merch available now,” the 21-year-old captioned the picture.

The photo also features Anastasia Karanikolaou, Yris Palmer, and Sofia Richie, who is the girlfriend of Talentless founder Scott, the father of Kylie’s older sister Kourtney Kardashian’s three children.

Accordingly, Sofia also uploaded the same image to her Instagram page with the words, “When my favourite people come together and make magic @talentless.”

The five-piece line is available to buy off the Talentless website, and includes the dress worn by Kylie and her friends, which is priced at $49 (£39). There is also a cropped T-shirt, sweatpants, boxing shorts, and hoodie, each of which comes in pink or white colourways.

Items are priced between $41 and $124 (£33 – £100).

Scott unveiled Talentless earlier this year, with the brand offering a range of comfortable hoodies, sweats, cargo pants and T-shirts.

And the TV personality, well-known for his role as the joker on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, cheekily revealed the inspiration behind his clothing label’s name in a recent chat with GQ magazine.

“I think it’s a big F-U (f**k you) to everybody in the world that basically said that anybody that was in the reality business 10, 15 years ago didn’t have talent,” he smiled.

Sofia Richie has partnered with Frankies Bikinis on a new swimwear collection.

The model and influencer, who is the youngest daughter of music icon Lionel Richie and his ex-wife Diane Alexander, has steadily been pursuing her own career and landed campaigns for brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, and Chanel.

Now, Sofia has teamed up with Francesca Aiello, founder of Los Angeles-based Frankies Bikinis, on a line of ’90s-inspired items.

“It was a dream working with Francesca! I felt like I was working with a friend I had known for years, we just get each other,” the 20-year-old gushed. “I was honoured she asked me to collaborate with Frankies Bikinis as I wear her suits and already loved the brand.”

The 10-piece range includes bikinis made from with fabric featuring a mix of pink and blue tie-dye washes, and a hoodie. Harnessing a laidback and relaxed aesthetic, the range harnesses both Sofia and Francesca’s California roots.

And the swimwear designer couldn’t be more thrilled with the final result.

“Beyond making sure the silhouettes were flattering to different body shapes and sizes, we thought it was really important that we styled this campaign in a way that reflected my personal style – girly with a tomboy flair,” commented Francesca. “Whether I am wearing baggy jeans with a fitted tank, oversized hoodie with bike shorts, or styling my swimwear with a pair of sweatpants and sneakers, I love to have that perfect mix of femininity and tomboy.”

The Frankies Bikinis x Sofia Richie collection is available to purchase online and will also be stocked at a pop-up boutique in London department store Selfridges between 27 and 28 July.

Sofia Richie is looking to make a splash in the fashion world with her own line.

The model and influencer, who is the youngest daughter of music icon Lionel Richie and his ex-wife Diane Alexander, has steadily been pursuing her own career and landed campaigns for brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, and Chanel.

Now, Sofia has announced that she is making her own clothing collection, to be named Sofia Stone.

“I finally feel like I’m at the point in my life where I have so many creative ideas that I want to share and I’m bottled up,” she said in an interview with WWD. “Over the years, buying so many clothes and seeing what I liked and didn’t like and being in the modelling industry, I was around so many designers and I always took notes and tips from them. It came easily and I knew all the little things I wanted and didn’t want.”

To create the line, Sofia has partnered with LA Collective – the company founded by Jaynee and Karl Singer in 2015 with the aim of building brands for individuals across the fashion and lifestyle arenas. LA Collective also oversees model Alexis Ren’s activewear label Ren Active, Los Angeles-inspired sportswear brand Vita LA, and reality TV star Morgan Stewart’s clothing line TLA by Morgan Stewart.

A teaser image of one of Sofia’s designs depicts a model sporting a pair of wide-legged tailored trousers with a crop top, with the 11 other items in the range to include bodysuits and suits.

And while the 20-year-old, who is dating TV personality Scott Disick, comes from a stylish family, with her adoptive sister Nicole Richie having launched her House of Harlow 1960 in 2008, she credits her clothing designer mum Diane for inspiring her to pursue the idea.

“We all have very different styles in my family, but she definitely was the person that made me interested the most in fashion,” the starlet shared of her mother.

Pieces from the Sofia Stone line will be priced under $80 (£60) and are set to be available to buy in August (19).
