Country star Tim McGraw will be relaxing his diet and fitness regime this Thanksgiving because his wife Faith Hill’s cooking is too tempting to resist.
The Humble and Kind hitmaker ensures he spends quality time with his family over the festive season because it’s all about “togetherness” – and that involves bonding at the dinner table.
“It really helps when your wife is an amazing cook,” he admitted on U.S. talk show Live with Kelly and Ryan. “Faith makes turkey in the southern cornbread dressing so when she’s making that and the homemade cranberry sauce is on the stove cooking, I get pretty excited.
“And then the sugar cookies at Christmas with the frosting on – awww, come on!”
Thanksgiving will be a rare day off for McGraw, because he has never taken a proper holiday.
The singer noted it’s not that he doesn’t enjoy relaxing, he just enjoys his work even more.
“Let me put it to you like this,” the 52-year-old explained. “You vacation because you want to chase a connection that you’re fond of, or passionate about, or relax… I love what I do. I love work and if you talk to anyone who’s super dedicated to what they believe is their purpose, they’ll be like, ‘I’ve never worked a day in my life.'”
And McGraw insisted he’s not joking: “I haven’t taken a vacation, ever. I mean that. I get to play dress-up. I get to slick my hair back… I really do enjoy what I do, and I don’t want to take any time off.”

Shanina Shaik has found love again following her difficult divorce from DJ Ruckus.
The Australian model and the American music star parted ways in June after one year of marriage, with Shaik filing for divorce a month later.
However, Shaik took to Instagram on Thursday morning to upload a Thanksgiving Day post, in which she revealed she is in a new relationship.
“Reflecting on this year… I will admit this was the hardest year of my life. I was dealing with the biggest heartache. So many things I wish I could share with all of you, but I choose to keep my personal stories close to my heart and heal. After dealing with a huge loss in my life, I GAVE UP ON LOVE (broken heart emoji). I didn’t want it or believed that a true love could exist,” the 28-year-old wrote alongside a black-and-white snap of her hand holding her new beau’s. “I was broken… You took me by surprise and made me believe that a BEAUTIFUL love exists! It’s kind, supporting, romantic and friendly. You’re my best friend! Throughout my heartache, you stood by me and I’m thankful for you. Thank you for making me believe in love again. I’m thankful I have you… to call you mine.”
Shaik did not name or tag her boyfriend in the message. However, she indicated his name begins with the letter ‘P’, as she concluded the post with their initials and a red heart emoji.
The brunette beauty’s social media announcement quickly drew the attention of many of her celebrity pals, with Bianca Balti writing, “You guys are so beautiful together,” and Olivia Culpo adding: “Aw I’m so happy for you my love.”

Coach is to be the first-ever luxury fashion house to participate in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Founded in 1941, the New York-based label is known for its leather goods, apparel, footwear, fragrance, eyewear, and accessories, with brand ambassadors including Selena Gomez and Michael B. Jordan.
Now, Coach is to make history by having a new float included in the annual holiday spectacle, set to take place on 28 November.
“As an iconic American brand, we are proud for Coach to be the first luxury fashion house to have a float in the 93-year history of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade,” said Joshua Schulman, chief executive officer and brand president of Coach. “We can think of no better way to kick-off the holiday season than to participate in this great American tradition. This project not only underscores our important partnership with Macy’s, but also speaks to the future of the traditional wholesale business model, evolving from distribution into meaningful brand storytelling.”
Coach’s float will be themed around the company’s dinosaur mascot, Rexy. The icon was first unveiled by creative director Stuart Vevers in 2015, but will be transformed into a giant, glittering version for the upcoming event.
“Designed and constructed by the artists of Macy’s Parade Studio, Coach’s ‘Rexy in the City’ float is a dazzling marvel of engineering, artistry, and animation that will bring a new level of whimsy to our Parade line-up this year,” said Susan Tercero, executive producer of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. “On Thanksgiving Day, Rexy, the fearless fashion dino will capture the imagination and hearts of millions as she makes her glittering way down the streets of Manhattan.”
In addition to the float, Coach is partnering with Macy’s on a limited-edition Rexy-themed collection. Items, including footwear, T-shirts, and accessories, will be available to purchase from 15 November.
