Olivia Palermo will debut a line of ready-to-wear fashion in early 2020.

The socialite first made a name for herself in reality TV series The City back in the late 2000s and has since become one of the industry’s most sought-after stars, often sitting front row during designer presentations.

Now, Olivia is putting her style knowledge to the test with a brand-new venture, to be known as the Olivia Palermo Collection.

“The Olivia Palermo Collection has been in the making for well over a year, and I cannot wait to finally see all of you wearing these beautiful pieces,” she wrote in a letter for her website. “I’ve always had a very special relationship with fashion, so designing my own collection felt like a natural progression. This collection was inspired by people all over the world who I come across in my travels. A person’s unique style is so closely linked to their personality, and this collection is no different. When I look through my own wardrobe, I am constantly reminded of people I love or memories I cherish. The Olivia Palermo Collection reflects just that.”

Olivia also posted a series of sketches, with it appearing that the range will be comprised of chic separates, patterned suits, colour blocked dresses, and leather outerwear. The debut collection will feature more than 50 items, all of which will be released in February. Garments will be stocked on OliviaPalermo.com, select Saks Fifth Avenue stores, as well as in boutiques across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and Japan.

“Over the coming months, we will be sharing with you a behind-the-scenes look at different elements in the process of creating this collection, as well as sneak peeks of the individual pieces that you will be able to see for yourself in February!” the 33-year-old concluded.

Previously, the fashionista has created collections for the likes of Karl Lagerfeld.

Olivia Palermo has abided by the same skincare regime since she was 14.

The socialite first made a name for herself in reality TV series The City back in the late 2000s and has since become one of fashion’s most elite stars, often perching front row during designer presentations. As well as possessing a flawless sense of personal style, Olivia always steps out with a glowing complexion, and she has now shared that she believes the key to great skin is consistency.

“I’ve been using the same skincare since I was 14 years old,” she told Porter. “I swear by Dr. Dennis Gross; he’s been my dermatologist since I was a teenager. I use the All-in-One Cleanser with Toner and the Hyaluronic Moisture Cushion every single morning.”

Olivia went on to explain that she visits New York dermatologist Dr. Gross once a month for a medical facial peel, while if she is in Los Angeles, she will visit celebrity facialist Joanna Vargas.

And no matter how busy the brunette beauty has been, she always makes a point of removing all of her make-up before she goes to bed.

“It’s the most important thing for great skin. I’m faithful to my Clarisonic, which helps to clear out any dead cells and remove dirt and grime. I then use Joanna Vargas Super Nova Serum followed by Sisley Black Rose Precious Face Oil,” the 32-year-old explained.

During the chat, Olivia noted that she likes to incorporate essential oils into her daily beauty routine too, and is a fan of body washes with citrus or bergamot.

“Lavender oil is a go-to when I feel tired. And if I’m tired but need to energise, I drink lots of lemon-infused water or tea – Mighty Leaf has the best flavour combinations,” she added.
