CeeLo Green wants to emerge from the coronavirus lockdown at least 30 pounds (14 kilograms) lighter.

The Forget You hitmaker discussed his health in a chat with the New York Post’s gossip column Page Six and admitted he’s been trying to “be mindful” of his eating habits with the support of his fiancee Shani.

“In a perfect world, when I come out of quarantine, I would like to come out 30 to 40 pounds lighter,” the former The Voice U.S. coach confessed, noting that he’s been exercising daily on the couple’s sprawling land in Atlanta.

“Fortunately for us… we live on a (Georgia) ranch that is about 10 acres. So we can go out and walk a mile and still be in the confines of the house. The first thing I wanted to do when I got money was to get a ranch,” CeeLo explained.

Besides eating well, the singer has also been keeping hydrated and taking a bunch of vitamins, with him adding, “We’ve been drinking a lot of water and taking vitamin B, turmeric, cod liver oil, fish oil. You name it, we got it all.”

The 44-year-old also credited Shani for his clear, glowing complexion during quarantine.

“I’m learning more about beauty and self-care. But it’s easy to learn about beauty for someone that’s already naturally beautiful; I’m working on being beautiful,” he shared.

The Crazy hitmaker is set to release his new album, CeeLo Green Is Thomas Callaway, on 26 June, and the star recently launched a campaign for fans to appear in his new music video by submitting clips of themselves during isolation.

Gwen Stefani has shaved stripes into the side of boyfriend Blake Shelton’s head to help style his new mullet.

The country superstar, who sported the dated cut during his youth, recently decided to let his typically-short hair grow out during his forced downtime, after the coronavirus pandemic led to the postponement of his Friends and Heroes Tour.

“I am growing my mullet back as a symbol of hope or some s**t like that…,” he declared on Twitter earlier this month. “Anyway it’s coming back! For real. Stay tuned…”

On Thursday, Shelton showed off his work-in-progress in a video clip on Twitter, revealing his 50-year-old girlfriend had stepped in to try and improve his changing image.

“Quarantine mullet update 3/26/2020,” Shelton captioned the post. “@gwenstefani has decided to take it to the next level.. Stripes.”

The couple is also keeping busy in self-isolation by dressing up in matching camouflage outfits, with the No Doubt rocker even donning a pair of comfy Crocs bearing the same design.

“Our first quarantine photo shoot…,” the country singer quipped as he shared a picture of the pair posing for the camera.

The Voice U.S. judge isn’t the only celebrity making a hairstyle change during self-isolation – Pink recently took to Instagram to show off her new uneven buzz cut after deciding to give her hair a trim during a drunken night at home.

“Stay safe. Stay home. Cut your own hair! Screw it!” she joked.

Blake Shelton is planning on bringing back his old mullet hairstyle.

The country music star, who sported the iconic look in the early 2000s, announced to fans on Twitter on Tuesday that he was bringing back the hairstyle, in which the hair is cut short at the front but left long in the back, as a “symbol of hope” amid the global coronavirus crisis.

“I have an announcement. With basically EVERYTHING I had scheduled being cancelled for the foreseeable further @gwenstefani and I have made a decision together,” he tweeted. “I am growing my mullet back as a symbol of hope or some s**t like that. Anyway, it’s coming back! For real. Stay tuned…”

Gwen Stefani, who has been dating the musician since 2015, is yet to publicly confirm if she is onboard with Blake’s mullet plan, but one of his fellow judges on The Voice U.S. seemed keen on the idea.

“I think this may be the cure we’ve been searching for!” John Legend tweeted.

However, the announcement divided his fans, with one user writing, “Don’t do it cowboy. You look way better with short hair,” and another posting, “Please say this is a joke.”

Others were more supportive though, with one tweeting, “We will need weekly updates! Great idea!”

Blake, who was named People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2017, famously sported a mullet for the first few years of his career before chopping off the long locks and going for a short look.

During a 2017 appearance on America’s TODAY Show, the 43-year-old looked at throwback pictures of himself with the mullet and couldn’t help but laugh at his old hairstyle.

“I mean, that is ridiculous… Why didn’t my family or friends or somebody tell me how stupid I looked?” he responded.

Jennifer Hudson has spoken about the pressures of filming the live-action movie adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats.

The American Idol alumni, 37, will play the iconic role of Grizabella in the upcoming Warner Bros. production, alongside co-stars Rebel Wilson, Idris Elba and Dame Judi Dench.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight on Sunday (24Feb19) about the process of taking the Broadway hit to Hollywood, Hudson said that she is “just happy to be a part of it.”

“It’s, like, something really special being made,” the Spotlight singer gushed. “It’s done live on the set. It’s a lot of hard work.”

The Voice judge went on to detail the film’s creative process, noting that everyone involved had a say in the direction of their scenes.

“It’s so uniquely done and we’re all creating something that does not have a vision to it,” she added. “So, we’re learning as we go. We’re creating as we go and we’re all surprising ourselves… It’s a new level from everyone. The director (Tom Hooper), from all the talent, the dancers and everybody is equally just as involved in it.”

The Dreamgirls actress also revealed that she had filmed the scenes for her big song Memory last week (ends22Feb19), admitting that she was glad to get it “over with.”

“I couldn’t wait till it was over with,” she admitted. “I said I was just gonna throw a party… after Memory was done.

“I literally have (been) anticipating doing that song in the scene since the moment I got the role (and) there wasn’t much I could (do) but literally be in the moment while shooting it,” the songstress continued.

Hudson admitted, however, that the scene went “really well,” adding that, “If it didn’t go well, I would still be on that scene.”

Adam Levine has been named as the face of L’Oreal Paris’ Men Expert skincare line.

The Maroon 5 frontman is no stranger to fronting campaigns, having previously appeared in the marketing imagery for Yves Saint Laurent Beauty’s men’s scent, Y.

Now, Adam will be the brand ambassador for the French beauty giant’s popular Hydra Energetic range, and he is looking forward to encouraging men to adopt skincare regimes.

“To be the voice of this campaign is a great way to motivate men through the simple move of taking good care of the faces we’re given,” he said in a statement, according to WWD.

L’Oreal’s Men Expert line includes face washes, deodorants, shower gels, moisturisers, as well as beard care and shaving products.

The items are aimed at consumers aged over 30, and L’Oreal Paris global brand president Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou has explained that Adam was a natural fit for the gig due to his “multilayered, multifaceted” personality and “rock star status”.

“Adam Levine is one of the greatest musical artists in the world, an icon that reaches all generations as the lead singer of Maroon 5,” he commented of The Voice U.S. coach. “The unlimited energy he brings to his performances and life makes him a powerful spokesperson that embodies our vision of the modern Men Expert man.”

Adam’s advertisements for the Hydra Energetic line will begin to drop later in the month (Jan19).

In teaming with L’Oreal, the 39-year-old musician follows in the footsteps of Game of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who is a spokesperson for the Men Expert range, and former soccer star David Beckham, who is the face of male grooming range House 99.

Jennifer Hudson has shared with fans exactly has she achieves her signature “swoop” eyeliner.

The Dreamgirls star always pulls out all the stops, whether she’s attending a red carpet event or acting as a coach on U.S. TV singing competition show The Voice.

Now, Jennifer has detailed her go-to beauty regime in a video for Vogue.com, especially focusing on how she does a cateye.

“We’re going to do swoops. Now, what the swoop is, is that cateye. And with that, I tell all my make-up artists, ‘I need a swoop. If you don’t give me a swoop, I’ll probably be creepin’ in the bathroom and give it to myself.’ You gotta find the right kind for you. First you should powder down your eyelid so that they are dry so that it doesn’t run,” she said, first taking Milani’s Eye Tech Perfection Liquid Liner to create the outline before filling in and tidying up the edges with Napoleon Perdis’ Matte Eye Ink Liner. “The left is a little harder, ’cause sometimes your eyes are shaped slightly different but we use a Q-tip to clean it up… go according to the shape of your eye or the shape you want it. And there’s no right or wrong.”

As Jennifer likes to play up her eyes, she tends to keep the rest of her make-up minimal, simply blending in some foundation with a Beautyblender and dabbing on some powder to her T-zone. She will dust on a little blush to her cheeks too, but always avoids contouring her nose.

“I don’t like when they be tryin’ to redo my nose and stuff with that stuff. Mm mm, my nose – Jesus did it just fine, thank you,” the 37-year-old smiled.

To top off her look, Jennifer adds a slick of deep crimson lipstick. However, she is always careful not to overline her pout because she has a “bootie” in her lip.

“This is another something I specialise in, the lip. Anyway, follow the line that God gave me right there, you see that?” she noted, while drawing an outline with dark red pencil before applying a layer of scarlet Tom Ford lipstick. “And here you have it. Your black Barbie supermodel with curves finishing look – the swoop and the lip. Thank you.”

Adam Levine has been named as the face of Yves Saint Laurent Beauty’s new fragrance.

The Maroon 5 frontman was tapped last October (17) as the L’Oreal-owned cosmetics company’s first-ever digital-only perfume ambassador and promoted the latest YSL’s men’s scent, Y, in the United States.

Following the success of the partnership, Adam’s contract has been extended and he will now be the global ambassador for the product.

“Adam is super-successful and at the top of his career, but still ‘why’ is (what) pushes him to question his choices, to never take anything for granted,” Stephan Bezy, international general manager of YSL Beauty, told WWD. He added that Adam is the “quintessence of coolness” and “embodies the Y values”.

For his Y campaign, The Voice U.S. coach has been photographed by Colin Tilley, with the imagery to appear in print, television and digital mediums in August.

And he divulged that the marketing imagery is a “natural fit” for his personality.

“Y stands out without explicitly trying to do so, and I love that,” the 39-year-old shared, going on to explain that his new gig is a little different to the work he has done before. “It’s more focused on the larger campaign that I’m very excited to be the ambassador for, and (it’s) not just showing me being silly in a bathroom!”

YSL’s Y fragrance features top notes of geranium, lavender and white aldehydes, as well as base scents of balsam fir incense and tonka bean. Adam described the scent as “powerful” and “long-lasting” but also made sure to warn fragrance fans not to be tempted to spray too much on at once.

“I am sensitive to most fragrances, and unfortunately people spray too much on themselves too often. Then they lose what the fragrance was meant to be. So, I’m a proponent of the patented ‘spray and step’ method. I spray, step – that’s it,” he smiled.
