Rihanna has finally revealed that Fenty Skin will be launching at the end of July.

The Umbrella hitmaker caused a stir when she applied to trademark the business name with the United States Trademark and Patent Office in March last year, and on Tuesday, she took to Instagram to confirm the skincare line was on its way.

“Ima try my best to be humble about this but, @fentyskin is coming July 31st exclusively at FENTYSKIN.COM!!” Rihanna wrote. “Y’all ain’t hear it from me, but you can shop it early if ya drop me your email through the link in my bio…”

Details of the range are scarce, but the Fenty Skin’s new Instagram account promises that the brand will be “the new culture of skincare”.

When the trademark was filed, it stated that the line would feature “medicated and non-medicated skincare, soap, body care and personal care products”, and accessories such as applicators.

According to Elle, five product names, such as Buff Ryder, Instant Reset, Fat Water, Flash Nap, and Hydra Vizor, were also mentioned in the filing.

“Ahhh where’s my purse,” commented one follower when the news was announced, while another added: “Take. My. Coins. Sis.”

Rihanna launched Fenty Beauty, which featured a groundbreaking range of 40 foundation shades, back in 2017, and raked in more than $100 million (£79 million) in sales in the first 40 days.

Adam Selman “learned a lot” while working with Rihanna for Savage X Fenty’s first-ever designer collaboration.

Selman was tapped by the Umbrella hitmaker to create a sensual lingerie collection for her brand back in 2018, and the pair have finally released their Valentine’s Day-themed capsule line.

Working with Savage x Fenty’s inclusive size range – which goes from XS to 3X – was a “fascinating” experience for the American designer, and he wanted to make sure he followed Rihanna’s brief.

“Before we presented things to Rihanna, I would go ahead and fit everything in advance on three different sizes,” he told Fashionista. “Because of the size range that Savage X is able to do, I really learned a lot about the fit and the process and the bodies. I wanted to make sure that in my collaboration I offered the exact same thing for a straight-sized model to a curvy (model).

“If you have never seen Rihanna fit a panty, you’re really missing out.”

The fashion star, who created the singer’s infamous sheer, Swarovski crystal-encrusted gown for the CFDA Fashion Awards in 2014, was inspired by her total confidence while creating the collection.

“I think that she really taught me that it is about confidence – the clothes can give you that confidence, but also building the clothes with confidence is such a key part of the process,” Selman shared.

Adam Selman for Savage X Fenty is available now, with prices ranging from $16 to $84 (£12 – £64).

Rihanna has officially confirmed she will be creating a ready-to-wear high-end fashion line with LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton.

The Umbrella hitmaker and the French luxury fashion conglomerate issued a brief statement on Friday revealing that the new label – called Fenty Maison – would be based in Paris.

Focusing on Rihanna’s style and tastes, the new line will be developed by her and, as well as clothes, will also include shoes and accessories.

The 31-year-old had been given free rein to create her own fashion house, and thanked Bernard Arnault, chairman and chief executive officer of LVMH, for having faith in her.

“Designing a line like this with LVMH is an incredibly special moment for us. Mr. Arnault has given me a unique opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, with no artistic limits. I couldn’t imagine a better partner both creatively and business-wise, and I’m ready for the world to see what we have built together,” she said in a statement.

Arnault also revealed that the team behind the line will be “multicultural”, and said he was impressed with the singer’s business tenacity.

“Everybody knows Rihanna as a wonderful singer, but through our partnership at Fenty Beauty, I discovered a true entrepreneur, a real CEO and a terrific leader. She naturally finds her full place within LVMH,” he gushed.

The collection will debut in spring 2019, but no exact dates have been confirmed, and images of the products will be released over the next few weeks on social media, according to WWD.

News broke of the high-profile project back in January, with LVMH execs reportedly handpicking employees from within Louis Vuitton and Celine to work in tandem with Rihanna on the line.

The Barbadian beauty, full name Robyn Rihanna Fenty, has already had huge success with her Fenty Beauty, Fenty x Puma and Savage x Fenty lingerie lines.

Rihanna has unveiled a seductive new line of Savage x Fenty lingerie ahead of Valentine’s Day.

The singer has dropped a stunning new collection of racy items to cater to all shapes and sizes from her intimates brand to celebrate the romantic holiday (14Feb19).

The Umbrella hitmaker also appears in a sultry campaign for the collection, posing in a skimpy pink bra and panties, adorned with hearts, and red velvet gloves.

“Lingerie is not just about exploiting the female body, it’s about celebrating it and that’s what Savage x is all about,” Rihanna said in a press release. “Savage to me is such a powerful word. Especially for women, you know. Women are usually looked at as weak and needy and Savage is just that different woman. It is the opposite of that, she is powerful, she’s in charge, and she’s taking ownership of all the choices she makes.”

Among the notable looks are heart-shaped pasties and panties, patterned bralettes and revealing bodysuits. Sizes range from 32A to 44DD in bras and XS to 3X in underwear.

The label’s popularity has continued to rise since the first pieces from the company were showcased as part of New York Fashion Week in September (18).

The latest collection, currently available via the brand’s official website, comes just days after Rihanna launched an extensive line of concealer products to serve a variety of skin tones. The 50 piece collection is one of many exciting makeup offerings the 30 year old beauty has offered up to fans in recent months. These include the launch of 10 more shades of the previously released Pro Filt’r Foundation.

Rihanna is catering to a wide range of skin tones with a new line of 50 concealer products.

The singer has unveiled the latest item from her Fenty Beauty company, which offers a diverse range of items designed to complement all women. The new liquid product, known as the Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Concealer, is set to be released on 11 January (19) and is available for an affordable $26 (£20).

Prior to the release, the Match Stix was the only concealer offered by the brand. The new product is long-wearing, sweat-resistant, creaseproof and masks both “blemishes” and “dark circles”.

The Umbrella hitmaker has also released a video tutorial via Instagram letting women know their skin shade will be represented in the new line. In the post, the star joked the concealer is the perfect way to freshen up after New Year’s Eve partying.

“New year, New #FentyBeauty. We got #TheCure to your #newyearseve hangover,” she captioned the footage.

In the video, she jokes, “Half of y’all lookin’ busted,” and noted she is “here with this video today, right now, because I’ve got the cure”.

As part of the debut, the cosmetics company is adding 10 more shades of the previously released Pro Filt’r Foundation, as well as brand new items, including the brand new Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder. The translucent powder will be offered in eight different shades and reduces shine while brightening and extending the wear of makeup.

Rihanna is heading to the United Arab Emirates to host her first ever Fenty Beauty seminar for charity.

The singer and fashion/cosmetics mogul will be hosting the makeup workshop in Dubai on Saturday (29Sep18), with high-profile makeup artist Priscilla Ono and Hector Espinal helping her teach fans how to paint their faces with her products.

Announcing the event, which is sponsored by the Middle Eastern branch of cosmetics retailer Sephora, on her Instagram account on Tuesday, Rihanna wrote: “SEPT 29th! I’m coming to Dubai for my 1st ever @FentyBeauty ARTISTRY & BEAUTY TALK w/ @priscillaono @artbyhector! Grab your tix NOW online @sephoramiddleeast…”

The event will benefit DubaiCares, an organisation which works with United Nations aid agencies and international non-governmental organisations to design and fund education programmes in developing countries.

Rihanna is on fire with her Fenty Beauty company of late – this weekend’s event in Dubai comes hot on the heels of the release of two new products. The star recently unveiled fresh versions of the Stunna Lip Paint, including a chocolate brown colour, named Unveil, and a rosy nude hue, named Uncuffed, to delighted fans, who are heaping praise on the items.

Rihanna is also making waves in the fashion industry, stunning style veterans and fans alike with her unique and star-studded Savage X Fenty runway show for the lingerie brand’s autumn/winter ’18 line at New York Fashion week earlier this month.

The humanitarian Umbrella hitmaker has also recently been dubbed an ambassador of her native Barbados for her philanthropic work, which reached new heights at her recent Clara Lionel Foundation’s fourth annual Diamond Ball in New York.

Rihanna is determined to keep her curves when she embarks on a new exercise regime.

The Umbrella singer made history when she was unveiled as the first black woman to be featured on the cover of the British Vogue’s coveted September issue on Tuesday (31Jul18).

In the accompanying interview, the Barbadian star, who shut down fat-shamers last year over her curvier shape, discussed what it’s like being “the woman that everyone fancies” and said she was proud to be working in the entertainment industry with “a butt and thighs”.

The 30-year-old covered up her figure for the photoshoot, but insisted she feels confident with her body. She further revealed she is planning to get back in the gym, where she is hoping to get strong rather than skinny, as she has no intention of losing her curves.

Asked what it’s like to be a pin-up around the world, she said, “Ok, you’re asking the wrong person… I don’t know, maybe it’s because I’m ‘thicc’ now. I don’t know,” referring to the slang term used to describe a woman with a more shapely figure.

“I’m about to get back into the gym and stuff, and I hope I don’t lose my butt or my hips or all of my thighs. I’ll lose some but not all,” she continued. “And I think of my boobs, like, ‘Imma lose everything, everything goes!’ But, you know, it comes with a price… You want to have a butt, then you have a gut.”

The singer was shot by photographer Nick Knight and styled by British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful in a variety of outlandish designs, including a black tuxedo with large pink silk ruffles by Alexander McQueen and an oversized black floral dress by Noir Kei Ninomiya. Each outfit was accompanied by a colourful floral headpiece.

On Tuesday, Rihanna shared pictures from the shoot on Instagram.

“SEPTEMBER ISSUE!!! @britishvogue,” she excitedly told fans. “I’m so honored to be on the cover of your first September issue with British Vogue @edward_enninful Thank you for considering me!”
