Kim Kardashian regrets wearing a red dress to one of her first major Hollywood events.

The reality TV star has reflected on some of her best and worst outfits in a video for Vogue’s Life in Looks series, and during the chat, pinpointed the crimson satin number with plunging neckline that she wore to the season one premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians in 2007 as one of her least favourite looks.

“I probably borrowed this dress at (Kardashian-owned boutique) DASH. Kept the tag on it or just re-tagged it and then returned it afterwards. It was by this designer Foley, I think,” she said. “I know my shoes were Jimmy Choo. My earrings and bracelets – I thought I had made it!”

Kim went on to explain that she didn’t like how she accessorised the outfit and would never go for such a bold shade of lipstick and voluminous hairstyle these days.

“I don’t know why I did the lip and the eye and the hair and the dress and the jewels and the French tip nails,” the 39-year-old admitted. “Obviously, it’s cringeworthy, I still respect it. I laugh and think, ‘Oh my God that was so cute, I was so clueless!’ this was probably one of my worst looks of life.”

Elsewhere, Kim went on to reflect on some of her other looks from the period and shared that she wishes she never wore the white shirt and grey knit dress with an oversized Fendi belt to a Us Weekly party.

“I was able to afford a Fendi belt and matching Fendi boots,” she recalled. “Any time I could go to an event, I would. Because I just wanted my picture taken. That’s all that mattered to me.”

Kim Kardashian used to get annoyed with Paris Hilton for not taking care of her handbags.

The reality TV personality first gained media attention as the friend and stylist of the hotel heiress back in the early 2000s, with the pair often stepping out in matching outfits.

Famously, the stars were snapped wearing coordinating beachwear and carrying large gold and silver Louis Vuitton handbags during a trip to Sydney, Australia in 2006, but in a video for Vogue’s Life in Looks video series, Kim admitted there was nothing inside of Paris’s designer purse.

“This is one of my favourite, most iconic looks. Those bags, I still have those bags,” she smiled. “One thing – Paris does not take care of her purses. So, if you see what’s inside of her bag, there is a million things from every kind of make-up, lashes, just everything. It’s like a pharmacy inside of her bag! I would not let her put anything inside of this bag. It is an empty bag that she’s carrying.”

Kim went on to reflect on some of her other looks from the period and shared that she wishes she never wore the white shirt and grey knit dress with an oversized Fendi belt to a Us Weekly party.

“I was able to afford a Fendi belt and matching Fendi boots,” the 39-year-old recalled. “Any time I could go to an event, I would. Because I just wanted my picture taken. That’s all that mattered to me.”

However, Kim has no regrets over her phase of sporting either a dress and stilettos or a Juicy Couture tracksuit with Havaianas flip-flops, even considering her penchant for French manicures and pedicures at the time.

“That’s what I wore every day to walk up and down to walk up Robertson Boulevard,” she smiled. “French tipped toenails to match the nails, the hoops, the whole thing is pretty legendary if you ask me. I love it and this era will always have such a close place in my heart.”

Jessica Simpson credits a cauliflower-rich diet for helping her lose a staggering 100 pounds after the birth of her daughter Birdie Mae.

The singer and fashion mogul shared her dramatic weight loss with fans on Instagram last week, and now she’s revealed the secrets behind her body transformation.

“It’s been a lot of hard work. I have to say that I have worked very hard,” she told HSN. “Everything that I’ve been eating is mostly made with cauliflower.”

She stuck to strict eating habits for six months, but now Jessica is enjoying the occasional treat, including potato chips, with her adding: “I just ate a bag of Cheetos.”

The I Think I’m in Love With You hitmaker, who welcomed her third child Birdie Mae with her husband, former American football player Eric Johnson, in March, also admitted she couldn’t stop eating during her latest pregnancy.

“When you’re pregnant, I gain a lot, I mean, a lot,” the 39-year-old emphasised. “I didn’t expect to gain as much with my third. I thought I’d learned my lesson, but apparently that’s just the way God made me – very hungry and pregnant.”

Jessica, who is also mum to daughter Maxwell, seven, and son Ace, six, is enjoying her body again, admitting she’s given up on plans to get back to her pre-motherhood look.

“I don’t think I’ll ever get back to (my skinny jeans),” she said. “I save them and say, ‘One day’, but I think after having kids, I don’t think that your hips really ever go completely back. All worth it! Your body changes.”

Her younger sister, Ashlee Simpson Ross, recently heaped praise on Jessica for her “dedication” to losing the baby weight.

“I mean, she’s been working so hard and she looks amazing,” she told Us Weekly.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex will reportedly guest edit the prestigious September 2019 issue of British Vogue.

The British royal will join editor-in-chief Edward Enninful to preside over the big fashion release, widely considered to be the most important issue of the year, according to editors at Us Weekly.

“Meghan will be writing an opinion piece of her own as well as bringing a selection of female change-makers on board to write their own personal essays,” an insider told the publication.

The source also claimed Meghan, who welcomed her first child, son Archie, with husband Prince Harry on 6 May, will pose for a special photoshoot on the grounds of the couple’s Frogmore Cottage home in Windsor, England next week.

British Vogue officials have yet to comment on the report, which emerges three days after Meghan joined Harry and other members of his family at the Trooping the Colour parade in London on Saturday to publicly celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s 93rd birthday.

The event marked only the second time the former Suits actress has appeared in public following the arrival of her baby son.

She and Harry, who wed in May 2018, previously introduced the newborn to the world at a special photocall at Windsor Castle two days after giving birth.

In the past, Meghan delved into the world of fashion, beauty and travel with her lifestyle website The Tig.

The project, in which the 37-year-old also profiled inspirational women and spoke to health and wellbeing experts, garnered over three million fans on Instagram, though she closed the website in April 2017 when she made her relationship with Harry official.

Priyanka Chopra has added alone time with husband Nick Jonas into her self-care routine.

The actress enjoys unwinding with the singer, who she wed in December (18), at the end of a busy day and relies on their moments away from the spotlight to help her relax.

“My favourite, favourite thing is to come back home and just him and I sit, watch TV, have a glass of wine and talk about our day and just brief each other on what we’re doing,” she tells Us Weekly. “We have such independent careers, which (are) moving at such a fast pace, we don’t have time to catch up.

“I used to do it alone and now I do it with him. It’s just amazing.”

And Chopra reveals her hubby has made a few changes to his lifestyle now he’s married to one of the world’s most beautiful women – he is much more focused on caring for his skin and has even started using on of her most popular face creams.

“He keeps this one product – the HydraFactor – in his toiletry bag,” she shares. “He loves it, it has his SPF (sunscreen) in it and it’s always right on top of his bag.”

The star has been promoting her beauty regimen as part of a new partnership with skincare brand Obagi. The venture is also a way for the 36 year old to highlight the issue of inclusivity in the beauty industry.

“Inclusivity is something we’re all talking about but not doing enough about,” she adds. “And I like to be able to walk the talk. Because of the conversation there’s a pressure on companies, movies, studios to have diversity as part of the optics. But where it needs to change is to have diversity in thought.”

Chloe Grace Moretz is low maintenance when she’s not having to glam it up for the cameras.

The Kick Ass star likes to keep her makeup routine simple when she’s not on set or at a red carpet event.

“I spend so much of my time wearing makeup on set any minute I had off I tried to be as bare-skin as possible,” she tells Us Weekly, revealing that growing up in a busy household with four brothers impacted her approach to self care.

“I grew up with four brothers and they were in and out of the bathroom and out the house in 15 minutes,” she shares. “So I always had shortcuts to feel comfortable enough to go outside.”

The 22 year old’s low key approach has carried over to her role as a representative for SK-II skincare products, which led her to be part of the brand’s Bare Skin Project and pose makeup free for the campaign.

“It felt like a badge of honour for myself to be able to go bare skin to see what that feels like in front of the camera,” she says. “It’s just you and yourself. There’s nothing to hide behind.”

As part of the collaboration, the young beauty appears in the #BareSkinChat series on Youtube, in which she shares self care tips.

“I hope that people see how much fun we had doing it and it encourages them to bare their skin – like they don’t have to hide behind coverage or makeup,” she notes.

Moretz has also learned to be more accepting of her battle with cystic acne, noting stars are more open about skin issues these days: “It’s hard when you live in a world where you’re expected to cover your face,” she says. “It’s great now though that we can talk about skincare instead of covering up.”

A top makeup artist to the stars is sharing the biggest beauty tricks used on Oscar night.

Bruce Grayson is the lead beauty expert for the awards ceremony, and he will be backstage during the prizegiving to help make sure the stars maintain their flawless looks with touch-ups and tips.

“Working backstage as a makeup artist on award shows is about staying in the moment, being prepared and making sure that celebrities look and feel fantastic,” he tells Us Weekly.

Grayson relies on a Beauty Blender to smooth out clumpy cosmetics, along with a shade of foundation.

“For me it’s is the quickest way to make a face look flawless for camera,” he says.

He also swears by Skin Ceuticals Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier to make skin smooth and primed, as well as items like Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder.

“The more glide the skin has, the quicker it is to use a brush or a Beauty Blender to speed dial foundation on skin,” he adds.

The biggest challenge during the Academy Awards is maintaining a star’s look when she gets caught up in the emotions of it all and sheds a few tears.

“There’s nothing discrete when a celebrity sheds tears,” the cosmetics guru tells the publication. “When it does happen I have to act fast to fix foundation under eyes and then some.”

Bruce starts by wiping tears with a soft cotton pad, soaked in Bioderma Crealine H20, before reapplying eyeliner and mascara

He notes, “It is a drill that I’ve had a lot of practice mastering.”

The 2019 Oscars will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday.

R&B star Ne-Yo has dropped 30 pounds (13.6 kilograms) after adopting a vegan diet.

The So Sick singer insists he has never been healthier after starting a plant-based diet in 2017, and is steadily getting more strict about what he eats. Among the benefits he’s experienced from eliminating all animal products from his daily menu: weight loss and better skin.

“I am loving it,” he tells Us Weekly. “I genuinely am. It’s been about two years. More energy, my face clears up, weight falls off. I lost, like, 30 pounds!”

The singer/songwriter was prompted to try veganism after watching controversial documentary What The Health which explores the relationship between government agencies, big business in the food industry and national health problems including chronic diseases.

“Initially, I watched the documentary What The Health, and to put it frankly, it p**sed me off,” he explained. “It really did. I was like, ‘Let me get this straight – the person giving you the disease and the person fighting the disease are in bed together? To hell with y’all.’ Out of spite, I went vegan because I was like, ‘Y’all don’t care'”

The 2017 documentary has been criticised by doctors for spreading “propaganda” and for claiming that all health issues can be solved by eliminating meat and dairy. However, the R&B star considers turning vegan to be one of the best things he’s ever done.

“A friend told me a plant-based diet could reverse the effects of heart disease, cancer,” he said. “I had tendonitis in both my knees – two weeks, brand new knees, like it never happened. I kid you not! I love it.”

But there’s one area that vegans haven’t quite cracked yet, insisted the star.

“They just haven’t figured out the cheese thing yet. Not yet,” he laughed.

Actress Camilla Belle relies on beauty tips passed down by the women who raised her.

The 32 year old has become known for her fashion choices and bold makeup and tells Us Weekly she received helpful advice from her mother and grandmother early on that has stuck with her.

“My mom always told me to wash my face entirely and moisturise and I used to be quite bad about putting sunscreen on every morning, but now I do,” she shares. “I don’t leave the house without putting sunscreen on my face, so those are things that I’m now sort of adapting as I’ve gotten older.”

Her mother has also been her go-to resource for style inspiration over the years.

“I have to give a lot of credit to my mom,” Camilla explains. “She has been my stylist and clothes extraordinaire my entire life, so we kind of work on everything together. We’re really inspired by Elizabeth Taylor and old Hollywood (glamour), so if anything, I’ll turn towards photos of her.“

The brunette beauty also swears by a tip handed down to her by her grandmother.

“My grandma was a really stunning woman and even when she was almost 80 years old, she would never leave the house without putting on her lipstick, even if it was to walk from one corner to the other,” she says.

“She didn’t have to have any other makeup on, but she had to put on her lipstick,” she added. “I think there’s something to be said about that and always keeping up appearances in a way.”

And so, just like grandma, the star always puts on a little makeup when she’s heading out, sharing that mascara is her go-to item.

“That’s my thing,” she smiles. “Or I’ll at least curl my eyelashes. I think I picked that up from my grandma. She wouldn’t leave (the house) without adding that one touch.”
