Vanessa Hudgens will be a triple threat in the sequel to hit Netflix movie The Princess Switch.

In last year’s festive film, the actress doubled up as European royal Duchess Margaret Montenaro, who convinces her doppelganger, American baker Stacy DeNovo, to switch lives so she can be a normal girl for once.

Now, Hudgens will be playing three lookalikes in the follow-up, The Princess Switch: Switched Again, which will go into production next month.

“In the sequel, Duchess Margaret unexpectedly inherits the throne and hits a rough patch with (boyfriend) Kevin, so it’s up to Stacy to save the day before a new lookalike – party girl Fiona – foils their plans,” a spokesperson for the streaming service confirmed in a post on Twitter on Tuesday.

The whimsical romantic comedy will be produced by Hudgens and directed by Mike Rohl, who helmed the first movie.

The High School Musical star previously admitted that using different accents for the characters was “confusing”, and said it was a challenging project.

“It was very confusing! There are the two characters and then they switch, so trying to figure out if I was American trying to be British, or British pretending to be American, it was definitely a confusing situation,” Hudgens shared.

The Princess Switch was compared the 1998 remake of the classic movie The Parent Trap, which starred Lindsay Lohan as twins Hallie Parker and Annie James. Accordingly, Hudgens was blown away by the praise.

“I’ve seen that movie so many times. My sister and I used to act out the scenes from the movie. It’s still such a go-to of mine. If I still love it, hopefully, this will be a classic for my fans and that they’ll still watch it,” the 30-year-old shared.

The Princess Switch: Switched Again will be released on Netflix in 2020.

Carolina Herrera creative director Wes Gordon has thanked the brand’s founder for “believing” in him.

In February 2018, Herrera stepped down as the creative director of her namesake label and was replaced by Gordon, who had been working as her creative consultant, and he made his debut as the company’s creative director at New York Fashion Week last September.

A year has passed since that presentation, and following his spring 2020 runway show on Monday, Gordon uploaded a picture to his Instagram page showing Herrera clutching his face and smiling backstage.

“Dear Mrs. Herrera, thank you for believing in me. One year ago, I showed my first runway collection as Creative Director of the House that you built,” he wrote in the caption. “This morning, I showed Spring 2020. Your trust, support, and faith in me is everything. You are the ultimate inspiration. Thank you (love heart emoji).”

Gordon held the spectacle in a tent resembling a glasshouse in New York’s Battery Park, with celebrity guests including actress Vanessa Hudgens and model Karlie Kloss.

During the presentation, models such as Adut Akech wore designs loyal to the brand’s roots, with the line comprised of feminine looks, white shirts, pretty red carpet dresses, ballgowns, and oversized belts.

Key pieces included floaty tulle dresses covered in velvet polka dots, voluminous white shirts paired with long skirts featuring blown out floral prints, and oversized belts.

Florals had a big presence on the catwalk, with one model wearing a strapless, floor-length dress covered in textured yellow flowers, and another sporting a white dress with oversized sleeves and a pink flower print. Polka dots were also big news, with one model rocking black and white polka dot shorts, a shirt as well as a structured jacket.

Kloss congratulated Gordon on Instagram too, and described the collection as “a vision of elegance, strength, and femininity for the modern woman.”

Hailey Bieber has recreated some of Princess Diana’s iconic paparazzi pictures for a new Vogue Paris photoshoot.

The model channels the ’90s looks of the late royal in the September 2019 issue, and took to Instagram to share her joy at the unique spread in the fashion magazine.

“New story for @vogueparis shot by @gstyles (Gregory Harris) styled by @virginiebenarroch (Virginie Benarroch, fashion editor). All credit and inspo to the amazingly beautiful and iconically stylish Princess Diana who I’ve looked to for style inspiration for as long as I can remember. Thank you for leaving behind such an iconic fashion and style legacy,” Hailey wrote alongside snaps from the shoot.

In one image, the 22-year-old sports a red, oversized Boston University crewneck sweater, shiny black bike shorts, as well as white socks and matching sneakers.

Hailey also recreated another of Diana’s casual ensembles, in which she wears a baseball cap, blazer, jeans and brown cowboy boots.

Emily Ratajkowski was one of the first to comment on the images, and simply wrote: “Dead.”

“So goooood,” Vanessa Hudgens commented, while fellow model – and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex – Younes Bendjima added: “Hell yeah.”

And the reaction on social media was just as bowled over, as users took to Twitter to share their excitement at the unusual shoot.

“Hailey Bieber’s Princess Diana-themed photo shoot is everything,” one wrote, while another posted: “I was never a fan of Hailey Bieber until NOW. She is absolutely killing it in each and every photo, serve that Princess Diana vibe gal.”

Princess Diana was the most photographed woman in the world, following her divorce from Prince Charles in 1996.

The mother of Prince William and Prince Harry was killed in a car crash in Paris in August 1997 at the age of 36.

Austin Butler feels “extraordinarily privileged” to have landed the leading role of Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming biopic.

The 27-year-old beat out the likes of Harry Styles, Miles Teller and Ansel Elgort to land the coveted part in the upcoming Warner Bros. flick, which chronicles the life and music of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll through the prism of his complicated relationship with his longtime manager, Colonel Tom Parker, to be played by two-time Oscar winner Tom Hanks.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the Los Angeles premiere of Quentin Tarantino’s new movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood on Monday, Butler gushed he is “profoundly honoured” to have landed the gig.

“I am just profoundly honoured that Baz has invited me on this journey with him,” he said. “It’s an extraordinary privilege. And I just feel so blessed to be working with such singular directors like him and Quentin Tarantino.”

When news of Butler’s casting broke, Luhrmann released a statement explaining how he decided on The Carrie Diaries actor for the high-profile leading role.

“I had heard about Austin Butler from his stand-out role opposite Denzel Washington in The Iceman Cometh on Broadway, and through a journey of extensive screen testing and music and performance workshops, I knew unequivocally that I had found someone who could embody the spirit of one of the world’s most iconic musical figures,” he shared.

Butler, who is the longtime boyfriend of actress Vanessa Hudgens, underwent months of screen tests and interviews to nab the part and the film shoot will take place early next year in Luhrmann’s native Australia.

His career seems to be the rise – he recently appeared alongside Bill Murray and Adam Driver in Jim Jarmusch’s The Dead Don’t Die and will be seen playing murderer Charles ‘Tex’ Watson, a member of the Manson family, in Tarantino’s latest project. Both films premiered at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival in May.

Margot Robbie wowed in a white dress at the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood premiere in Los Angeles on Monday night.

Some of the film industry’s biggest stars turned out for the premiere of Quentin Tarantino’s latest film, which focuses on the story of TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt), as they set out to make names for themselves in the film industry at the time of the Charles Manson murders in Los Angeles in 1969.

Australian actress Margot portrays Sharon Tate in the movie, and for the star-studded event, she opted for a flowing white Chanel number with a deep-V neckline, flowing sleeves and floor-sweeping skirt.

Referencing the time period of the film, the 29-year-old’s hairstylist Bryce Scarlett styled her blonde locks into soft curls, while her make-up artist Pati Dubroff opted for a “hot summer ’70s vibe,” and used Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzing Make-up Base and the Duo Bronze et Lumiere Clair palette to achieve her bronzed complexion.

Margot accessorised her ensemble with gold chandelier earring and a gold purse.

Meanwhile, Leonardo and Brad both looked handsome in sharp suits, and filmmaker Quentin chose a black suit with a velvet blazer.

Rumer Willis, who plays Joanna Pettet, rocked a beautiful white Grecian gown from Ong-Oaj Pairam and high heels from Christian Louboutin, and was supported by her sisters Scout and Tallulah.

Margaret Qualley, who takes on the part of Pussycat in the film, made it a family affair too, stopping to pose in her sheer Prada dress alongside her father Paul Qualley and sister Rainey.

Rising star Austin Butler, who plays Charles “Tex” Watson, was joined by his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, who looked stunning in a black Armani gown, with other castmembers to turn out for the bash included Timothy Olyphant, Rebecca Gayheart, Bruce Dern, and Zoe Bell.

Additionally, celebrities such as Adriana Lima, Rob Lowe, Travis Scott, Snoop Dogg, Pierce Brosnan, Britney Spears, Robin Thicke, John Stamos, Chris Hemsworth, and Sofia Vergara got dressed to the nines for the night as well.

Vanessa Hudgens is open to the idea of playing Catwoman in the upcoming The Batman movie.

Rumours have been rife about the cast of the Matt Reeves-directed film for the past few weeks, with Robert Pattinson among those linked to the role of the Caped Crusader.

Speculation about who will take on the part of Batman’s adversary/love interest Catwoman has also reached a fever pitch among fans, with many taking to social media to insist High School Musical star Hudgens would be perfect.

On Wednesday night, Hudgens used her Instagram Stories to respond to the fan art and memes created to pitch her as the new Catwoman, writing: “Okay. Who do I need to talk to make this happen lol #dreamrole.”

Alongside another fan art piece, which showed her mocked up as Catwoman, the 30-year-old wrote: “@dccomics JUST THROWING IT OUT THERE. Dream role lol (laugh out loud).”

As well as praising her devoted fans for creating the pieces, Hudgens concluded her Instagram Stories by sharing a throwback picture of herself as a toddler, dressed up as Catwoman.

“And just to prove how obsessed I’ve always been with Catwoman. Here’s the cherry on top,” she captioned the adorable snap.

Ben Affleck was originally lined up to reprise his role as Batman in the movie, and was also slated to direct the flick, but he stepped down from the gig in January after deciding he “couldn’t crack it”.

Reeves then stepped up to the helm, with industry insiders telling Variety recently that Twilight heartthrob Pattinson was the top choice for the superhero role and was expected to close the deal “shortly”.

Jennifer Lopez set the Internet on fire by sharing a sizzling picture of herself in a bikini on Sunday (31Mar19).

The 49-year-old singer and actress donned a baby pink two-piece for the sexy snap, which was taken on the set of her upcoming movie Hustlers.

“I’m a hustler baby… I just want you to know… #Ramona on fire,” Jennifer wrote alongside the picture. “On set and in character for #hustlersmovie.”

Mother-of-two Jennifer showed off her incredible abs in the image, and teamed the swimwear with hoop earrings, necklaces, and bracelets, as well as a pair of sunglasses and pink lipstick.

Jennifer’s new fiance Alex Rodriguez was among the first to comment on the image, using emojis including the fire and heart symbols to express his excitement about the photo.

Other celebrities to comment on the snap included Lenny Kravitz, who wrote “@jlo Boom! There it is,” and Naomi Campbell, who followed in Alex’s footsteps by writing “Yes” with the fire and heart emojis.

“Dayum mamaaa (sic),” Vanessa Hudgens, who co-starred with Jennifer in recent movie Second Act, added.

Jennifer plays a stripper in Hustlers, and embarked on a 10-day diet challenge, which involved cutting all sugar and carbs out of her diet, to get in shape for the project.

“I’m getting ready for this movie called Hustlers and I have to play a stripper, so I’m getting ready for that,” she said during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in February. “I work out a lot, I try to stay healthy but (my trainer) was like, ‘Let’s do something to move the needle.'”

Admitting she initially struggled to cut out the foods she wasn’t allowed to eat, Jennifer added: “You feel like you’re in an alternate reality or universe, like, you’re addicted, and you think about it all the time. When you go back to the sugar you don’t want it as much, it’s something you get used to a little bit.”

Kendall Jenner is hoping that her new Proactiv campaign will help “open up a dialogue around skin positivity”.

The 23-year-old model announced her collaboration with the spot-busting skincare company earlier this month (Jan19). And in a lengthy post on her Instagram page on Thursday (18Jan19), Kendall revealed her own struggle with acne, and her reasons for wanting to team up with Proactiv.

“While there are much bigger problems happening in the world, suffering from acne for me was debilitating,” she wrote. “It’s something that I’ve dealt with since I was a young teen and has caused me to feel anxious, helpless and insecure. As humans, I don’t think we share our insecurities enough because we live in a time where being ‘perfect’ is the standard.

“We curate our life online and pick the pretty moments to post. I’d like to show a younger generation that not everything is perfect.”

Kendall added that while being insecure about her spots gave her a “thick skin”, she “wouldn’t ever wish that feeling upon anyone”. And despite unsuccessfully trying a multitude of skincare products aimed at tackling acne, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star eventually discovered Proactiv.

Alongside a make-up free black and white shot of herself after a shower, Kendall concluded: “It’s been a long journey but I’m excited for where my skin is now. I didn’t think I’d see the day where I would feel confident posting a make-up free picture. My goal is to open up a dialogue around skin positivity.”

While Vanessa Hudgens was among the stars to “like” Kendall’s post, the model turned off comments on the image – perhaps for fear of nasty comments from trolls.

Actress Vanessa Hudgens and Riverdale star Charles Melton have scored roles alongside Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in their highly-anticipated Bad Boys sequel.

Together with The Hunger Games actor Alexander Ludwig, the trio will portray a highly-specialised police unit that clashes with Will and Martin’s detective characters as they tackle a new threat in Miami, Florida, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Titled Bad Boys for Life, the third instalment in the hit action franchise is set to begin production in Miami in January (19).

Rising filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will direct the project, which will be produced by movie mogul Jerry Bruckheimer, among others.

The casting news emerges days after Joe Pantoliano, who starred in the original Bad Boys in 1995 and reprised his role as Captain Conrad Howard for 2003’s Bad Boys II, was confirmed to be returning for the sequel.

The gig will reunite him with Will, playing Miami Police Department Detective Mike Lowrey, and Martin, who returns as his partner, Detective Marcus Burnett.

There’s still no word on whether or not Gabrielle Union will be involved in the new movie; she was introduced as Martin’s onscreen sister, Special Agent Sydney ‘Syd’ Burnett in Bad Boys II, and is currently shooting a TV spin-off set in Los Angeles, called L.A.’s Finest, in which Jessica Alba co-stars.

Bad Boys for Life is set to open in theatres in January, 2020 and it’s sure to be a big hit with fans – to date, the franchise has grossed over $400 million (£316 million) at the global box office.
